After staying hidden from her world for 3 years, she came back not knowing what will be waiting for her.

Just Let Me Go

A week past and the work has been completed and projects closed. The whole company is waiting for Wednesday after the reading to see who will be announced as the new CEO of the company and everyone is anxious as it is. 


An Fei woke up to a call from their family lawyer Fu. She was informed that he will be swinging by around 10am later to bring her to a location where her grandmother has arranged for her will reading. Foretting that the will reading for her part will be done one day before the rest of the family, she woke up late and now she had to rush.


After cleaning up and packing, she wore a white shirt with a pair of jeans and a pair or 2.5 inches black stilettos high heels that she has missed wearing. Swing onto her shoulder a self designed sling bag that she had made when she was still teaching. She walked out of her room towards the dinning room for a quick breakfast.


Upon reaching, she saw that the maid were clearing the table, disappointment was clearly written on her face.


Butler Chu was also walking over and saw this scene. He gestured to one of the maids at the side to bring out another set of breakfast that they have made just for her.


"Good Morning Little Miss, you are awake. Why don't you take a seat at the front garden? I will have someone bring some breakfast out for you."


"Uncle Chu, that is not necessary. I will just -"


"Well, I insist. No further oposition is allowed. Your health is one of our priorities here. We need you to be healthy and not be like that Old Man that will faint once in a while just because he has forgotten that he is no longer young..."


Just as he was ranting on about how the Old Master is not taking care of himself, he step behind her while guiding her out towards the sitting area in the front garden. He pulled out a chair for her and pushed her onto it and a maid came forward and put the breakfast platter right in front of her.


Seeing the sandwiches and the cheese spread on the side, she can't help but to swollow the saliva that was threatening to flow out of her mouth.


"Enjoy your breakfast Little Miss. I have matters to attend to and I willl excuse myself."


"Thank you very much Uncle Chu. Let me know when Lawyer Fu arrives."


Taking in the beautiful scenery in front of her, picking up her sandwich, she digged in.


At 10am sharp, a car pulled up at the driveway and Lawyer Fu came out holding a exquistly designed box and walked towards the front garden with Butler Chu leading the way.


At the corner of her eye, she saw them walking towards her and the box that looks familar came into view. Once they both arrived, Butler Chu excused himself.


"Good Morning Miss Fei Fei, before we head off, this is a box that Old Madam had arranged for you that she hope that you will bring this with you as you come along for the will reading session. Do remember that everything shared within this session will be kept fully confidential. The details that can be released will be informed to the rest of the family tomorrow during their session."
