Just Let Me Go

As promised, once the two hour time frame is up, Lawyer Fu packed his stuff back into his bad and knocked on the door. It was not surprising that Pamela and An Fei have already gotten closed. 


"Pam, do you have a photo of me when I'm 5?"


"Duh. Are you asking a super computer the freaking obvious? Here."


On the TV screen in the office was a cheeky little girl that was smiling back at her. An Fei remember the photo was taken on her 5th birthday party.


"Change your face to this. At least this is more reasonable since you dont have too much of a common sense."


"Hey, how could you? I'm an AI. what were you expecting?"


"I was expecting an AI that doesn't argue with me. Since I'm a person that is very open minded, I would love for you to be my little sister. So call me Big Sister from now on."


"Well first, you were created 5 years ago and I'm 24 this years so I'm older than you. Second, you sound so bubbly, isn't that photo more suitable? What do you think Lawyer Fu?"


Hearing the both of them bickering, he was smiling the whole time and now he is being dragged into the conversation. 


"Yes. I do agree that this photo is more suitable for Pam. Pam, you look so much prettier now that you look younger."


"Aww... Burned bitch. Lawyer Fu just said that you look prettier when you were younger. Fine. I'm changing to this."


"Hey. How could it turn out this way? Anyway. It is not important. Lawyer Fu. what else do we need to do here."


"Have you signed all the documents? Is there anything that you would like me to go through with you?"


"Nothing much. I have look through them all. Everything is good to go. You can start processing them when you are back."


"Miss, in the box there are still a number of access cards and keys. the addresses and locations for them to be used is all in this other folder. There is a safe in this office that you can keep everything if you want. Security here is top notch due to Pam. Here is also another set of keys and title deed that your Grandmother had prepared for you. It is an apartment that she has gotten for you last year. She was hoping to give it to you this year on your birthday."


"Thank you. It is an apartment a few street from here."


"Yes it is. She wanted to give you something simple and not extravagant because she knows that you prefers it that way. She hoped that you would move out of your apartment and into this. Now that you are staying in the main house, it is up to you if and when you want to move over. It is fully equipped with a filled wardrobe."


"In this case, I'll leave first. Pam will guide you if you need assistance. Goodbye Pam."


"Bye Lawyer Fu. Don't miss me too much. Else I'll appear on tour computer screen tonight."


"I'll not look forward to that. It will be a nightmare." Saying this, he rushed out of the office. 


An Fei sat there and laughed at their interaction. At the back of her mind she was thinking about Chen Xin and she missed this kind of interaction with him the bickering, the familiarity, the bond. 


"Pam, I want to explore this office. Show me what else here that is interesting."
