Chapter 50 - The Final Part

Stunned, Grandfather Shen looked at Lawyer Fu and was not sure what was going on.

"What is going on here? I need to know what is going on in both your minds. It seems that all this is a plan that my dearest had came up with. So I have a right to know what is going to happen from this moment on."

"Old Master Shen, with this last part of Old Madam's will, you will understand fully what is going to happen and what is the plan that is in our minds at this moment. Miss An, here are the documents for the transfer of shares as well as Ji Li's legal documents that has already been previously prepared for your review.

"As you all know Ji Li Investment Firm's origins has never been informed to the public and the only President of the company is under an individual that no one knows of and the one that has been in the limelight every time Ji Li is involved is always the 2 Vice Presidents. The documents on hand will show the details of the company in full. From this document, you would see that currently, the name of the President is Pamela Liva, this person is a sleeping partner in this case and she is a long time friend of Old Madam Shen. She has agreed to transfer all shares and rights over to Miss An in the event of the death of Old Madam with no further need for compensation. She has also agreed that in the event that, if needed and necessary, she will allow Miss An to use her identity and name in the running of the company. With this, she hopes that Miss An could also fulfill her wish of paying her an annual dividend into her accounts so that she can live a comfortable life.

"Here are the details of the documents do take a look and we can discuss this further in regards to how the whole process should be. Miss Pamela Liva had already appointed me to be her legal representative since last year. So there will be no issue in regards to me representing and making a decision for my Client."

Taking over the folder from Lawyer Fu, An Fei skimmed through it and handed it over to her Grandfather to satisfy his curiosity.

An Fei was calm the whole time while Pamela was chatting away at her ears.

"Big Sister, so this was the reason why Sarah told me to prepare a signature and also the documents about Ji Li Investment Firm 2 years ago. I am aware that Sarah is going to use my name to open set up Ji Li, but I was not aware that she will rope me in to make it easy for you to take on the inheritance in this way. Once again, Sarah never failed to surprise me with how her brain works. Now, our plan can work and it will be supported by the finances that Ji Li and Galore can provide. At the same time, you can start the succession planning to ensure that the Shen Enterprise is not compromised. This is really great news and it makes things so much easier for us now...."

As Pamela was rambling, An Fei was looking at Chen Xin, whom Grandfather Shen had passed the documents to. He was reading the documents on hand with great concentration.

Once Chen Xin handed the documents over to An Fei, she took a pen and signed on the last page acknowledging on the transfer of the shares. Lawyer Fu, handed her an insert which states Pamela Liva's approval for the used of her name and agreement which An Fei took over and signed.

"Miss An, what are your plans from this moment on? I'm sure I will still be part of it and it would be best to discuss this before the shareholders meeting tomorrow and also the next course of action am I right?"

"Well, Mr Chen, you catch on fast. Way faster than this Grandfather of mine-"

"Well, if you and your Grandmother had trained me, I am sure I would have been better than what I am now. I will blame the both of you in leaving me out most of the time when you guys have your secretive Ladies night."

"Please. Grandfather you were the one that told us you are going out to meet your friends for a Guys night out and that was the reason why we have ours without you. So stop blaming anyone else."

'Hmmph." Grandfather Shen turned away from her and pretended to be angry and offended.

"Anyway, Mr Chen, I would need you to hold on to the position of the Vice President for another 6 months or so for me to get a new successor. In the event that I am unable to find one, I will not stop you from leaving. I will just take over if that is the case. Tomorrow, I will be going in with a disguise so that the rest of the family will not be able to recognize me. Anything else, we will just discuss it as we go along. I will ensure that within these 6 months you will be fully equipped with the knowledge and skills before you leave Shen Enterprise and this is my promise to you."

"Sure. That sounds great. I shall thank you in advance for the training and may this collaboration work out for the both of us."
