Loki sharply whipped around, withdrawing his dagger from thin air as he did so, and halted it a mere inch away from the neck of the person. His dangerously glowering expression slowly returned to its normal, cold one when he set his eyes upon the person who was holding him. She was dressed completely in green, with long blonde hair flowing behind her and a sly smile slapped across her face.
'Amora, what are you doing here?' Loki asked, vanishing his dagger.
'It's good to see you too, lover,' Amora said, batting her eyelashes. 'Are you here to take me home?' she asked. Loki glanced down at her through narrowed eyes, his head filling with questions over her sudden appearance on an entirely different realm, which was not possible due to the destroyed bi-frost.
'How long have you been here?' Loki asked, pushing her a little away from the tight grasp she had on his body.
'I came here for a short mission, but the bi-frost was perished in an accident, during your rule, my highness,' she said in a soft voice. 'What exactly happened?'
'You don't know anything?' he asked. She shook her head without dropping her sly expression.
'Well, too bad. Thor broke the bridge with his hammer and the bi-frost tumbled into the abyss,' Loki said.
'Why would he do that?'
'Umm – Because he doesn't have a brain? I thought that was common knowledge,' Loki said in a conclusive voice, turning away to once again look at the surroundings when Amora clutched his neck sharply by her fingers. She pressed her lips against his, her hands draping around his neck. Loki kept his eyes open as she kissed him. He pulled her head behind.
'What I don't understand is, what is his highness doing here? To be more precise, how did his highness get here?' she asked as he opened his mouth to speak, but didn't wait for an answer. Her face cracked into a thin smirk. 'You have one of them, don't you? You are wielding it right now,' she said, once again sliding a hand over his stomach to reach his chest but he grabbed it at mid-waist.
'I don't,' he said quietly, taking her hand off of his chest but she quickly rested her head against it.
'Oh, lover. You are nothing but a liar. Still haven't changed, have you?' she whispered, closing her eyes and tightly clutching his waist. 'You forget that I received my education under Karnilla, the Norn Queen.'
'You were kicked out of there. Do not flatter yourself!' Loki snorted, pulling her away from him and looking into her narrowed eyes.
'I smell someone,' she said, sniffing something on his body. She suddenly dipped her nose on his chest. No sooner had her nose touched him than Loki disappeared, vanishing from between her fingers. She looked around in mild surprise.
'It's too late. It's a girl, isn't it? Is that why you behave distant?' she asked with pure mockery in her voice.
'You are quite the bitch, aren't you? Always smelling and recognizing stuff,' said a scathing Loki. 'Is this how you found me right now?'
'I thank one of my Vanir mates for this encounter. Yesterday night, he predicted you arriving here. I did not believe him, even though they have the power of foreseeing the future, because the bi-frost no longer exists. But if you were indeed coming, well, I didn't want to miss that visit,' she added slyly, beckoning him to come closer by her index finger.
'My visit here was foreseen? That is interesting,' said Loki.
'Did you come here to meet me? Because you knew I wasn't on Asgard?' she asked.
Loki chuckled mirthlessly. 'If you really believe that I would take the efforts of travelling to another realm for the purpose of meeting you, then, woman that proves you're delusional.'
'Then what are you doing all alone on Vanaheim?' Amora asked with utter confusion.
'That does not concern you. Now, if you will excuse me, I have work to do,' said an irritated Loki, turning away from her and thinking about the amount of time he has wasted since he arrived here.
'It was hurtful that you did not recognize my touch when I first held you,' Amora's voice came from an inch behind him. He sighed, but did not respond. 'Well, I don't blame you; it's been quite a while. So why not refresh the memory a little?' she asked, her voice whispering in his ear, shortly after which she bit it by her teeth.
'No,' Loki said, turning around sharply. She again kissed him on the lips. 'Which part of no don't you understand?' he fumed, withdrawing her head from his lips as she refused to let go of him.
'You know this is just making everything more interesting for me?'
'I am not playing hard to get. Back off, I am spoken for!' he said pushing her away. She laughed with a hint of confusion. 'Why are you so interested anyway? You have always had a thing for Thor!'
'I have always had a thing for both of you. Also, since when do you get "spoken for" with someone?' she mocked, laughing shrilly at his face.
'It's a recent thing.'
'Recent, huh? But old is gold, lover. And I know how much you love your gold,' she said again stepping closer to him.
'Alright, time to leave,' Loki said. There was a flash of light and he disappeared in a blink.
Amora looked around, quickly realising that he had teleported from the spot and she chuckled. 'Oh, I will find you, lover.'
Loki had no time to think about the recent events. He had some serious work to do. He teleported in a huge, open stretch of land which had an abandoned, almost wrecked, massive fort-like-ruins spread over acres of land. He smiled thinly. 'Oh, yes. This will do perfectly,' he whispered, rolling up his sleeves and approaching the area with a brisk pace.
