Stalkerish much?

Just as the voice-guided her, she followed and took a few deep breaths. After a while, she felt her uneasiness, her panic, and all that weird scenes disappearing from her mind. Her breathing and her heartbeat started to get normal and all her hallucinations started to vanish.

"You know the best way to tackle a panic attack is to kiss the person behind you."

The voice whispered in her ear. Su Yanruo rolled her eyes at his nonsense.

"Stop rolling your eyes," he said, "I am not lying. Trust me."

She was startled by his words. Even without seeing, how did he know she was rolling her eyes at his nonsense?

"Don't think too much," he chuckled in her ear. "Our hearts are connected, and that's why I can know everything."

"If you don't believe me then how about you give it a try?" he asked.

Su Yanruo rolled her eyes again. "Shut up!" she scoffed. Elbowing his lightly, she tried to get out from his arms but he didn't let her.

Tightening his hands around her, he secured her within his arms. Glancing at the dark stormy clouds, he sighed loudly. "When you know you are aquaphobic and you have illusion near water, why did you come over here?" he asked.

She narrowed her eyes at his words. Looks like this man knew many things about her. Arching her brows, she mocked, "Stalkerish much?"

"Looks like you know a lot about me," she asserted. "How about you tell me who sent you? What is your motive in following me?"

Perceiving his slip of words, Rong Yixuan bit his tongue in distress. Why was his wife so smart? She quickly deduced from his words he might be knowing a lot about her. Racking his brains, he hastily made up a lie. Agreeing to her words, he nodded, "I do have a motive."

Finally! She smiled thinking that this man would tell her about his motive and then she would end his story.

"I want to make a place in your heart. That's my motive," he smiled.

Su Yanruo: "....."

"As for how I know about the fact that you have, fear of water is because yesterday I saw everything. I heard that pretty lady scolding you about this matter," he explained. "She seemed quite anxious about you."

Su Yanruo snorted not believing in his explanation at all. She knew it was all lies. A splendid web of lies to entrap her. Once she gets to know who sent this irritating fellow to her, then she will deal with this guy.

"Who is she?" he asked.

"Why? Your Boss didn't inform you about her?" she taunted. "You know, that's a grave mistake in our line of business. Before tackling our enemy, you need to know everything about them," she commented.

"Well…." Rong Yixuan laughed. "As of now, I don't have a boss, so I don't mind if you become mine," he offered. He wasn't lying. He was the leader of the Red Dragon Organization and that means he was the Boss. There was no one above him.

"Humph!" she snorted at his cheesy words. "Those are just some nonsensical words," she sneered.

Grabbing her waist, he wheeled her around to make her face him. He forced her back slightly to make her lean on to the rails of the deck and lifted her chin with his index finger, he gazed deeply into her eyes.

"Sweetheart, those are just not some words. This is what my heart desires," he said clasping her hand and placing it on his racing heartbeats.

Su Yanruo's entire body went completely still for a moment. She was frozen on her stop. She could feel his heart going….. duh-duhn-duh-duhn. It was beating so loudly that she felt it was trying to escape from his chest. Amidst all the storm and crashing waves, all she could feel at that moment was the sound of his heartbeat and the warmth on her fingertips.

"You see this," he continued, covering her hand with his and holding it together over his chest. "This is how crazy it goes whenever you are with me," he confessed while indicating his crazy heartbeats.

His eyes were filled with so much emotion that it scared her. His eyes were so different in this moment; not showing their usual quirkiness but showing an emotion that was more than love. They were softer than she knew eyes could ever be. These eyes were not the eyes of an actor, but they held his real emotions. His eyes were looking at her as if she was his most valuable person.

All of this scared her. She wasn't scared when she was at the gate of death, she wasn't scared when she faced her numerous enemies, she wasn't scared while she was facing bullets, guns, weapons, and blood. But his eyes, his emotions, his words scared her. Her hand resting on his chest felt like it was on fire.

She jerked her hand away from his grip and pushed him away. "Get away from me," she said.

Rong Yixuan was startled. Seizing her arm, he pulled her closer to him. Looking at the pale face and shivering hands, he questioned, "Sweetheart, what is wrong with you? Are you sick? Are you not feeling well? Do you need something?"

"SHUT UP!" she screamed. Glaring at him, she pushed him away for the second time, she yelled, "YOU JUST NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM ME!"

He quickly realized something was wrong with her state of emotion, so he agreed to stay away from her. Raising his hands in surrender, he let out a helpless smile. "You need to calm down, sweetheart," he advised.

"You don't tell me what I should do!" she screamed at him. "I don't care who you are or what your motive is but I am warning you for the last time. You better stay away from me," she warned him furiously. Moving a step forward, she was to pass by him, to leave when suddenly her foot slipped and coincidentally at the same time, the ship also jerked due to the fierce waved making her stumble on her feet and she fell straight into the sea.
