Cultivation Levels (HUGE SPOILERS)

Cultivators in the world of Great Green Cliffs use a unique type of energy called "Mad qi" because it was the most abundant energy on this world. Mad qi have a double edge sword effect, the pros of cultivating such energy is that it boosts the strength of the cultivator by a factor of 2 and strengthened the will of such cultivator. However, the cons of cultivating this type of energy is that it consumes sanity of the cultivator and the higher the rank of the cultivator, the higher the chance of that person being insane/maniac.

That's why most people on this world fear continuing their cultivation when they felt that they can't control their sanity turning them insane, and this is the bottle neck of most people who cultivate the 'Mad qi'

However, this is not the end of the line for cultivators who use the power of Madness.

The solution for bottle neck is only for people who had the ability or talent to control another type of energy.

And this energy is called 'Spiritual Energy' as the name suggest, this type of energy originates on the spirit of the cultivator, the purpose and uses of this spiritual energy is to stimulate and enhance the mental ability of a cultivator, there's even a myth that when spiritual energy had reached a certain stage, one could manifest this spiritual energy that could be used for offense and defense of a cultivator.

If cultivator had the ability or talent to cultivate their spiritual energy, one can ascend to their current rank and break the bottle neck and ascend further. The stronger the spiritual energy, the higher can one reach the heavens while cultivating a unique type of qi.

There are four initial stages of cultivating the madness qi:

1. Qi condensation Stage - This stage is where cultivators start, the cultivator at this stage had the ability to refine the energy on the surrounding, such as 'Mad qi' and thus the start of making people insane, at this stage, insanity is mildly noticeable.

2. Foundation Stage - One can ascend to this stage if the cultivator had gathered a massive amount of energy to create their dantian/energy field/ elixir field. At this stage, due to the amount of absorbing the mad qi, Insanity can be noticed depending on how strong their spiritual energy.

3. Core Formation Stage - One can ascend to this stage once the cultivator had triple the amount of energy they had gathered to build their foundation and start forming their core. A Cultivator's core is the heart of cultivation, once destroyed they wouldn't have the ability to cultivate again. This core is important as it automatically absorb and pump qi on the body of the cultivators around their meridians, thus enhancing the physical capabilities of the cultivator. The amount of Mad qi to create a core is enormous enough to make people insane, this is where most people start to have their cultivating mad qi to a stop.

4. Nascent Stage - One can ascend to this stage when they can finally manifest and control their 'mad qi' out from their body for various uses. At this point, this is the threshold people can cultivate their 'mad qi' if they forced themselves to cultivate their mad qi without cultivating their spiritual energy, they would either turned into a brainless insane person (Like a zombie) or explode to death.

After the initial stages one must have the ability to control or cultivate their spiritual energy, cultivating their spiritual energy have nine stages, as such there's another nine stages when cultivating their mad qi.

Spiritual Energy Stages:

1. Gula Stage - Control over frustration and have the power of self-healing.

2. Anat Stage - Control over anger and have the power to use treasures that required spiritual energy.

3. Tanit Stage - Control over fear and anxiety, enhances vision and smell.

4. Isis Stage - Control over apathy, enhances five senses

5. Neith Stage - Control over hatred, gains that ability to use spiritual sense (sixth sense).

6. Psyche Stage - Control over ignorance, enhances mind to improve physical skills.

7. Kore Stage - Control over obsession, can manifest spiritual energy in physical astral powers.

8. Hestia Stage - Control in all emotions, gains the ability to communicate through mind.

9. Hekate Stage - Legendary stage, where the current God of Madness had achieved.

True Madness cultivation stages:

1. Qi origin stage - Fatal concentration of Mad Qi is absorb.

2. Soul stage - Will obtained soul of madness

3. Punishment stage - At this stage, one would face trial by fire, Mad Qi would go rampant trying to devour its hosts, if the cultivator failed to control this berserk qi, one would transform into Mad King they would turn into a brainless zombie but hundred times stronger and even cultivators at sky stage can hardly deal with them.

4. Spirit stage - Will be able to obtain spiritual of own madness. (like a spiritual clone)

5. Red Sky stage - Gains the ability to fly.

6. Mad king stage - Gains the ability to use mad domain.

7. Mad emperor stage - Can create small space pockets.
