Marriage

Aerion looked at the mirror and saw himself through it. His pure silver hair lightly swayed from side to side. His lilac eyes seemed almost magical, capable of entrancing any maiden they looked upon. His body was leaner yet it still packed quite a bit of muscle. You could say that is was perfect. His face looked heavenly as if it were sculptured by a God of Creation. His figure towered above most of the population as his height was slightly above six and a half feet (around 200cm). Aerion smiled, proud of his striking appearance.

Has there ever been a man more handsome than myself?

He took a deep breath and left his room. He walked down the to the second floor, a red carpet was rolled down the first staircase. Beneath the steps stood about fifty blades, all masters. Qiang Shi stood on the top of the staircase, waiting for Aerion. Aerion calmly walked over, his mere steps releasing a royal and supreme aura.

"You look wonderful, Jun Long." The General stated as he patted Aerion's right shoulder

"You don't look so bad yourself, General."

A brief conversation later, Aerion moved down the steps and out of the Mansion. A worse would've been truly inconvenient to ride around in the Fortress of the Noble Rogue Sect, so he walked by foot. The way to the Hall wasn't long anyway. There were disciples and masters everywhere, on the ground and on the rooftops. It seemed that the more distinguished visitors were already in the Hall while the less important ones were outside.

"You came just on time, Jun Long." Tai Ming opened the huge doors of the Hall for Aerion.

Aerion stepped forward and he looked around. There were quite a few faces he recognised from the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament. Then he slowly walked to the very end of the Hall, where he would wait for his wife. Half a dozen elders sat at the end of the Hall, these elders were the most influential and the strongest. They were all exclusively Tai Clansmen. The Grandmaster stood next to him.

"You seem a bit nervous."

Aerion chuckled in response "Nothing goes past you, Grandmaster."

"Do you remember how the rest of the wedding goes?"

"Of course. Xia enters through the doors, the maids bring her up and then I take her hand. Then Xia and I bow to Heaven and Earth, ancestors, elders and then we bow to each other. Xia is then taken to my pavilion and prepared. After that, the banquet begins."

"Good."

Then the doors opened...

Aerion was dazed for a moment, Tai Xia looked exceptionally beautiful despite her veil. The maids led her to him. Once she reached the end of the Hall, Aerion gently took her hand. Her grey eyes sparkled when she looked up and made eye contact.

Ahh, those eyes are too beautiful, Aerion thought.

Her luscious black hair was elegantly tied into a bun with beautiful ornaments for company. Both, future husband and wife, looked up to Tai Wentian and he nodded. Tai Wentian decided to oversee the ceremony himself.

"First, bow to Heaven and Earth!"

Aerion and Tai Xia bowed to Heaven and Earth.

"Second, bow to your Ancestors!"

Aerion did like how the people in this world deeply respected their ancestors. He himself had a deep respect for many of his ancestors, the one he respected most was Aegon The Conqueror. It was awe-inspiring to read of his conquest, how he made everyone kneel and started a dynasty which would last almost three hundred years. This great dynasty which he built the foundations for has fallen apart, with almost no hope of a return to its former glory. The Usurper took the Iron Throne and what remains of the Targaryens is basically a young girl and a big brother who would do anything to reclaim what is 'rightfully' his (the Iron Throne). Unbeknownst to all, the one true Dragon is still alive and the date of his return is coming closer and closer...

"Third, bow to your Elders!"

They turned to the elders and bowed, a very simple affair.

"Lastly... Husband and Wife, exchange bows!"

Aerion turned to Tai Xia and they bowed to each other.

"I, Tai Wentian, pronounce you Husband and Wife!"

Bowing is a weird way of showing love... I would much more prefer a long kiss. But hey, I'll have a lot of time to kiss later in my brand new pavilion. Their time together was brief, as Tai Xia was taken away by the maids soon after.

Tai Wentian walked over to his seat.

"Let the feast begin!"

Aerion sat down on his reserved seat, which put him right next to Robb. Aerion had specifically planned Robb's seat next to his own.

"Looks like the day has finally come, My Lord."

"Yes, it has come." Aerion laughed "My days of being a virgin are over."

He noticed a jar of wine on his table. He gazed at it for a few seconds... why not? He decided to have a glass of wine. The last time he got drunk he ended up in the Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace and got knocked out by a beauty... Xia Qingyue, a 'striking' beauty indeed! He poured the wine into the glass himself and took a sip.

"This is some high-quality wine, you should try it."

"Alright... let's see."

Robb got poured himself a glass of the same wine. Then he drank the whole glass and nodded.

"This is some good wine... and it's very strong."

"Is that so?"

Aerion played with his glass a bit, then he finished off the rest of the wine. Robb was right, Aerion thought. It's very strong... I should be careful not to drink too much.

A few minutes later, Aerion decided to move away from his seat and speak to the visitors. He had about three glasses of wine in that time, not a big deal for his Dragon body and high cultivation strength. Still... he felt a bit more relaxed than before, it was a minor difference at most.

"Congratulations on getting married, Jun Long. Unfortunately... there's nothing that I can give you that could truly help in your journey. But every little helps, right?" Ling Yun gave Aerion a spatial ring.

500k Purple Profound Coins!? Now that's some serious money.

"Thank you, Ling Yun. I'm sure that your gift will be useful in the near future."

"That's good to hear."

Aerion moved onto the Blue Wind Imperial Family. The young master of the Heaven Burning Clan seemed to be really interested in Cang Yue when she clearly didn't want him there. Unfortunate...

"Ah, if it isn't the young master of the Heaven Burning Clan!"

Fen Juecheng turned and saw Jun Long. A short yet cold and intense shiver went down his spine.

"I've heard of your impressive strength... maybe we can exchange pointers some time?"

"N... no thanks, I think I should leave."

"I think you should, as well."

These young masters are good fun, especially when you're stronger than them. I commend him for trying to marry a princess, but when she's not really interested... what's the damn point? I would move on and find someone else. Or in his case, get stronger before chasing women.

"Wait... Fen Juecheng!"

"Yes...?"

"Come here real quick."

Fen Juecheng walked back to Aerion. Aerion grinned, he could be a potential recruit.

"I would like to give you love advice... life advice, actually. Can't you see that she's not interested?"

Aerion turned to Cang Yue and winked.

"Well..."

"I know it's hard to admit, but when you decide to do it... your life will become easier."

"Well... I know she's not interested but I..."

"Good! Now, why are you wasting your time? All that time is wasted on trying to curry favour with Cang Yue when you could just be progressing your cultivation strength! What's the point in being a genius if your talent is wasted?"

"I..."

"I could put you on the right path and transform you into a true genius... something you were born to be! But, that's only the case if you decide to stay in the Noble Rogue Sect, an unlikely thing."

(Speech: 100)

"I will... consider it."

"Then it is farewell, for now."

I might have hit two birds with one stone... hahaha! Fen Juecheng won't bother Cang Yue and I might be able to transform him into a very useful follower. Aerion poured some wine into his glass and looked at Cang Yue.

"So how's the banquet?"

"It's gotten better."

"Oh, that's very good to hear."

Aerion took a sip and moved on. Then he briefly spoke with the Blue Wind Emperor, a few Heaven Burning Clan members, Ling Yuefeng and then he moved onto the Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace's visitors. Aerion smiled. Xia Qingyue, Chu Yueli and a few older disciples had made the effort to come all this way.

"So kind of you all to come."

"We are merely showing face." Chu Yueli retorted

"Well, nevertheless, I hope you are all enjoying yourselves."

"What's your cultivation strength now?" Xia Qingyue asked just before Aerion was going to leave.

"Emperor Profound One."

"... How?"

"2 months and a half of closed-door cultivation... it was relatively easy."

Relatively easy? That was pretty much a face-slap for everyone stuck in the half-step Emperor Profound level.

"That kind of speed is impossible..." Chue Yueli responded.

Aerion shrugged.

"I guess it's no longer impossible."

~

The banquet was finally over. Aerion had conserved most of his energy for the 'action'. He walked out of the Hall and swiftly made his way to his pavilion. It was pretty close to the Tai Clan's set of pavilions which basically meant that he was now part of the family.

Aerion eventually found it and opened the door. He walked into the bedroom and saw Tai Xia.

"It felt like a century waiting for you..."

"The wait ends now."

Aerion stepped forward and kissed Tai Xia.

~

The dragon seed flew straight past his competitors and more importantly, the obstacles in its path. Nothing could stop it from its one goal; the egg. Once the dragon seed found the egg, it 'locked on' and flew straight in like a heat-seeking missile.

BANG.

The dragon seed penetrated the egg first and long before any of his competitors could even find the egg. The egg closed itself so that no other cell could enter. And that's how a new Targaryen/Jun was made!

~Next day, morning~

Now that was a night to remember.

Aerion got out of bed first and dressed into his Noble Rogue Sect uniform. He pecked Tai Xia on the cheek and left. It was a new day... Aerion wanted to know whether Fen Juecheng stayed or left. Such a small decision yet it could change his life forever. What's the highest cultivation strength he can reach? The peak of Sky... maybe early Emperor Profound? Under Aerion, his talent would be finally realised.

Aerion flew to the Library and found that Fen Juecheng was reading one of the books. Aerion approached him and sat down on the same table.

"So, you stayed."

"Your words were very profound and powerful... I want to make the most use of my talents and become the strongest I can possibly be."

"Good... I will show you the way, all you have to do is follow me."

Aerion led him to the Training Pavillion and into his cultivation room. It was a clear, white area... as usual. This was the perfect place to change Fen Juecheng's 'perspective' on his life.

"Swear to your ancestors that you will serve me until the very end."

"The very end? Are you ma-"

BANG.

The Heavenly Fire Demon punched him in the gut. He approved of Aerion's plan and wanted to make it easier.

"Fool, the sooner you submit the better."

Aerion activated his Sharingan.

"I'll show you what will happen if you don't."

He used his eyes to perform a genjutsu on Fen Juecheng. He saw his entire Sect burn, all of his followers slain by red merciless demons and his precious Cang Yue laughing hysterically at his demise.

I might be going a bit too far... but it's for the greater good, this will make you a better man, Fen Juecheng. All you have to do is give in...

~ Sometime later~

Tears flowed fell down onto the white floor.

"Stop... that's enough... I... submit."

Aerion smiled. "Good, call me senior from now on."

He tapped his shoulder and opened all fifty-four of his entrances. He gave one True Sky Profound pill and told him to swallow it. He did so without hesitation. Instantly, he started breaking through many stages. His insane progression ended at Sky Profound 6.

"This pill... I've reached Sky Profound Six..."

"This is only the beginning. Serve me and you shall stand at the very peak of this world just below myself, betray me and lose everything."

"I... understand."
