Aerion flew to the Wall in order to see if there was anything going on. There were no signs of anything next to the Wall, but there was a rumour going around that the Others had gone around the Wall. Apparently, they are currently making their way across the Bay of Seals. Aerion obviously wanted to certify the rumour so he flew there with his dragon. The sight before him was shocking... they really are crossing a path of thick ice! It was an almost endless army, there were thousands upon thousands of them.
How would the Seven kingdoms have coped with this calamity if it weren't for me? It's definitely possible for all Seven kingdoms to unite and defeat this army but... at what cost? It would be a disaster even if they managed to win. This is especially true for the North.
"Father, why don't I burn them all?"
Aerion shook his head. "That would serve me no good, Rhaegal. They must first understand the severity of this threat and then witness me dismantle it completely. For now, the most important thing would be to make sure there isn't anyone in the path of the army... to prevent any unnecessary casualties. I'm sure you can do that, Rhaegal."
"Sure thing, Father."
Rhaegal flew to the local settlements and intimated them into going south, preferably to Winterfell. While Aerion froze the entire army, quite literally. He decided to leave them there... they would remain frozen until he deemed the time right.
~
Aerion stayed in Winterfell for some time. The Northmen were... interesting, to say the least. They simply weren't the kindest bunch but after Aerion embarrassed their best warriors and displayed a few of his profound talents, he gained their utmost respect. They also worshipped trees, Aerion had already known that but seeing it upfront was a whole different story. The army suddenly started marching again after Lord Eddard Stark and the rest arrived. The ice king's army couldn't quite find anyone to kill in any of the local settlements so the army proceeded to Winterfell, under the orders of the ice king.
"They... they are here!" One guardsman shouted in the night.
This alerted everyone and upon seeing the threat, the people of the North were shaken with fear. All they could see were endless lines of wights marching closer and closer to the walls of Winterfell. Aerion rose to the sky and there wasn't even a trace of fear on his face which did ease everyone else.
"I never thought you would dare to cross the Wall!"
The ice king had no expression, nor did he speak. This was the thing Aerion didn't like about him... where's the fun in having a silent enemy? He could speak but he doesn't do it, which makes the whole thing even worse.
"Fine, don't answer this King." Aerion's hands flickered with Golden Crow flames. In mere seconds, the entire sky had gone red as Aerion looked down on the rather huge army. Then fire began to rain down on the army.
Burn...
Yellow Springs Ashes!
BOOOM.
The entire army had gone up in golden flames. It was a spectacle for the crowd of Winterfell yet a living nightmare for the wights (can undead have a living nightmare?). Even the icy Others fell to a similar fate, they burned into nothing as the Golden Crow flames continued to dance. The one person left standing was the ice king since Aerion was interested in him because of his dream earlier. Even the calm ice king wore a face of fear as he looked up at the God that was Aerion.
Aerion noticed something after a close observation...
--------------------------------------------------
Name: Night King
Level: ???
Age: 10,000+
Legacy: Vena (Bloodline inheritance)
--------------------------------------------------
Legacy... Vena... the Ancestral Goddess of Ice, Birds and Sea!?
This... he's a thousand times more valuable than I ever expected!
Aerion overcame his shock after a few seconds. He thought about taking the bloodline for himself but... fire and ice were complete opposites, even with the Heretic God's influence, would it really work? Can a Creation God control and mediate the fire and ice of two Ancestral Gods? Aerion highly doubted it. Vena's Legacy would only hinder him... therefore, he decided to make the Night King his servant.
He flew down and activated his Sharingan. But before he could give the command, the Night King shattered into countless, tiny, shards of ice. Then he heard a mocking laugh... and that was it. Nothing was left of the army...
Aerion shrugged, in the end. The Night King was a minor loss, more importantly, the North absolutely adored him now. Well, the people feared him a little too. When he dropped down to the walls, everyone stared at him absentmindedly. Aerion smiled. "I believe a minor feast is in order, for this great victory?"
Lord Eddard nodded. "That would be wise."
After that, Aerion returned to Kingslanding. He demanded that the Free Cities bend the knee and join his Seven kingdoms. Unsurprisingly, each and every Free City surrendered almost immediately. It was slightly boring... Aerion was looking forward to declaring a Dragon Conquest and sweeping the entire continent. Now that the Free Cities were vassals of the Iron Throne, they had to pay a tribute of gold annually. This, along with the Seven Kingdoms' already flourishing treasury, ensured that Aerion would have more than enough spare money to rebuild Summerhall.
Since the Free Cities were protected by the shield that was King Aerion I Targaryen, they were safe from the Dothraki horde... mostly. There was one occasion where a Khal tested Aerion's commitment... which led to him personally flying over and making the Khal regret his decision, dearly.
King's Landing was becoming a more pleasant place as the months passed, sewage was no longer an issue and the population density severely decreased with the inclusion of the second wall. Aerion thanked Tyrion's success of building the new sewage system by making him Lord Paramount of the Westerlands. The North handled the long winter well due to the support of Aerion. The Stepstones reached a new height and Bloodstone was now comparable to a Free City in terms of trade and wealth.
~About 2 years later~
"Now that time has come, Daenerys."
"I understand..." She looked into his eyes. "Just don't get yourself killed... if you do..."
"Killing me is no easy task, Daenerys." Aerion assured her.
I'll try to visit but I can't guarantee anything.
Aerion looked at his World Teleportation Portal. Jasmine and Izanami gathered round and he teleported to the Profound Sky Continent. Aerion had gotten a little busy during these two years and gotten 3 of his wives pregnant. Two daughters from Daenerys and Margaery and a son from Huan Caiyi. He named the two daughters Naerys and Rhaenyra. The son was given the name Daeron Targaryen.
The Noble Rogue Sect had steadily grown and, due to the Dragonsguard, the sect became a force that simply could not be matched. It became the sole Sacred Ground of the Profound Sky Continent... not even the Divine Phoenix Sect dared to refute that. All of the Dragonsguard reached the Sovereign Profound Realm while the Heavenly Fire Demon broke through to the Divine Origin Realm.
Aerion said his goodbyes to Tai Xia and Aurion, who was nearing his fourth nameday. The Dragonsguard... Aerion thought about bringing them along as well. It would be a good thing to still have a few followers around and perhaps provide some company. He decided to take Robb, Fen Juecheng and Tai Shu with him. Izanami was already a given. Then he flew over to the Illusory Demon Realm to say his goodbyes and whatnot. Then he returned to the Profound Sky Continent again.
I haven't quite gotten to thanking the Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace... I should do that now.
With his Divine Origin Realm speed, travelling was very swift and not at all difficult.
~
Then a woman fell from the sky, Aerion looked up.
Eh?
He caught her before she hit the ground. With a quick observation, he found out that she was a late stage Divine Sovereign but she was weakened by poison. Aerion didn't hesitate to start curing the poison with his Sky Poison Pearl. He wasn't going to waste an opportunity to gain the favour of a Divine Sovereign.
"You... what are you doing to my master?"
"I'm curing her poison." Aerion calmly replied.
"Your lying! How... can a person from a lowly place such as this cure that poison which couldn't even be cured by the Great Realm!?"
Great Realm? What kind of nonsense is that... could she talking about the Divine Realm?
"Ah, but this King is quite extraordinary, as you'll soon find out," Aerion smiled.
Sky Poison Pearl would take some time and that girl seems quite anxious... perhaps Izanagi is the way I should go about things.
Aerion closed his eyes and opened them once more. Ever since he gained the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, he could use Izanagi twice on each eye before they would turn white and become useless. That means he can use it four times in total.
Blood fell from his left eye as he rejected the poison. Then he returned his eyes to normal.
"Why... why are you bleeding?"
"Don't ask unnecessary questions... just know that your master has never been better."
