Chapter Four

When I entered the classroom I sat in the very back of the class. I tend to not like attention on me. Sitting in the seat I got out my binder and such materials setting them on my desk and sighed as I was already bored with school. Then my eyes wandered to the door and my eyes went huge. The gang of people that were surrounding Kurami were standing out in the hallway. Please don't let them have this class...

Then they all swarmed into the room. I mentally smacked my face. Why me? Why this class? Why me? Then the teacehr stood up.

"Rex, Jack, Coraline, Karina. Out of my classroom. You are not my students so leave!" The teacher snapped.

The one called Karina hissed at her. What the actually hell? Who hisses at someone? I watched them as they all flocked out of the room. I sigehd in relief. That was until the cajun boy locked eyes with me. Hurriedly I looked away from his gaze and I heard him laugh. Ugh the nerve! I held my breath as he slowly walked up the isle. Then he stopped right infront of me. I looked up at him.

"Is there something I can help you with?" I said deadly low.

All he did was smirk down at me, and then he sat down....right in the desk beside me. I rolled my eyes as I laid my head down on my desk. I lifted it a little bit before dropping it down on the desk once again. The movement was done several times before the teacher called my name.

"Miss Victoria...Is there any reason why it is you are slamming your skull on a desk?" She asked.

I rose my head to stare her in the eyes.

"Call it me being a fish out of water being stared upon by a hungry...ugly seagull." I said with a small smirk.

I knew the teacher would not be able to see the smirk on my face, oh but I knew Alarick could. That was what made my day so much more better. The teacher pushed her glasses up on her face clearly displeased with my response.

"Miss Victoria, I advise you to watch your tongue." She said.

My gaze snapped up to her.

"What? Sorry, last time I checked im pretty sure you asked me why I was doing such action, yet when I bother to say the truth I am being told to watch my tongue. Now I can say that if you do not wish for an answer I advise you to watch what you ask." I said.

Lightning crackled loudly outside as I locked eyes with the teacher. Her eyes were wide as I finished my sentence and she began to walk towards me.

"Now listen here young lady! You will report to detention at once for the remainder of the month!!" She snapped.

I growled lowly and snached up my bag and glared at her.

"Glady." I spoke.

Then before I knew it I had walked out of the door. I didn't know what had come over me. I suppose it's the witch like mood swings. I couldn't be sure however, I was glad to escape Arick. Something about him, no, something about that whole group was off. I couldn't explain that either.

When I entered the detention room I almost turned the other way. Then the teacher grabbed me and shoved me in there. The rest of the group was there. God, kill me now. Then the teacher left us all in the same room.

My eyes never left the board. I didn't want to look at anything else. I could tell that everyone was looking at me. They didn't even bother to hide their almost hungry gazes on me. My mood was completely sour. Then another desk was slammed againsts my right side, then one on my left. I felt caged, and I felt trapped. My shoulders began to shake as I laughed. I didn't even bother to hide it. I threw my head back laughing.

"What's so funny?" Coraline and Karina said at the same time.

My head turned to the one called Karina with a smirk. I leaned in a bit closer so she could hear me clearly.

"If I were you... I'd get the hell away from me before you regret it." I said.

I heard Coraline gasp and Karina glared at me and stood quickly as if to attempt to tower over me and I laughed again. She slammed her hands on my desk and bent down to me.

"The hell? Do you know who I am you dumb bitch?! I could rip your ass apart anyday of the week. You hear me!! You are NOTHING! Compared to me you are a stupid HUMAN!" She yelled.

At those words I stared at her. What? Rex and Coraline stood up and yanked Karina away from me.

"Karina ENOUGH!" Coraline yells.

I just slid back in my seat unusually cool with the situation.

"Are you on drugs or something?" I said.

"I am sorry.... She hasn't been taking her medication lately..." Rex said.

Karina seemed to be thrashing around in their grip as if to lung at me. The sense of alarm ran through my body at once. I had the urge to run. I leaped out of my seat and fled to the open window. I looked at the height. Second floor. I can make that. Right? I saw my bike in the parking lot.

I took a deep breath. Here goes nothing. I stepped outside. I felt the air rushe passed me as I braced my legs for the ground so I wouldn't break anything. I hit the ground and rolled. Damn! My body still ached from my crash this morning. Slowly I stood and looked up to see all of them staring down at me with wide eyes. Screw this shit!

My legs bolted into the direction of my bike and I felt the wind rush passed me. I need to run. My hands twitched as they felt the need to release power. I needed to. I felt my eyes burn and I knew that they changed from my blue to a dark purple. I straddled my bike quickly and directed the bike out onto the main road. I need speed.
