Fireworks go off as the announcer announces

"The Premelinaries of the Hoenn Pokemon League are beginning today

There are 32 people entering the Pokemon League and each person here has collected 8 badges all over Hoenn Region and are nowhere

And here are the 32 people entering the Pokemon League on the Huge Screen"

The Announcer tells everyone

Everyone's Image came upon the Huge Screen

Sky looks towards his image and was smiling

Now we are going to match these people

Who is matched has to do a battle with each other and whoever wins goes to the next round

Now we are going to match them in 3....2.....1.....Here We Go!!!

The Images start randomizing and then came up the screen the matched up People

Sky was matched with a trainer named Luke

Mike was matched with a trainer named Hikari

Kui was matched with a Trainer named Isabelle

Tai was matched with a Trainer named Trent

And Brenden was matched with a trainer named Joey

They all look towards their opponent

"Now the last rule is that you have to only use One Pokemon in these battles, If you can't beat these Trainers with One Pokemon, You will lose the Pokemon League

Now let the Preliminaries Begin!!!"

The Announcer tells everyone

Soon enough Sky's battle came up and now he was facing Luke

"Let me tell you, I won't lose so easily"

Luke tells Sky

Sky tells Luke

Luke sends out Roselia

"Okay then, Come on out, My Partner, Scyther"

Scyther comes out on the field

Battle Begin

Sky vs Luke

Roselia use Toxic

Scyther was Poisoned

"Don't worry Scyther"

Scyther use X-Scissor

Scyther heads towards Roselia and uses X-Scissor defeating Luke's Roselia in one-hit and winning in the Preliminaries easily

"As expected from Sky, Now it's my turn"

Brenden thinks to himself

Brenden takes out Joey's Raticate with his Sceptile

Mike defeats Hikari with his Arcanine

Kui defeats Isabelle with Medichamp and

Tai defeats Trent with Shiftry

As for that, the Preliminaries end

Soon after the results were announced, the people have matched again and this time

Brenden was matched with a trainer named Fred

Mike was matched with Kui and

Tai was matched with Sky

Sky and Tai looks towards each other while Kui and Mike look towards each other

Now the battle of friends takes place in the next round of the Pokemon League
