Chapter 16 Ray vs Sky

At The Pokemon Centre, Sky heals his Pokemon and then meets up with Ray on the battlefield

"Let me tell you Sky that I won't go easy on you"

Ray tells Sky

"Oh…don't worry I won't either"

Sky tells Ray as they both take out one of their Pokeballs as they look at each other and smile

"Ok then…I choose you Bunnelby"

Bunnelby comes out on the field, Sky looks at as he says

"A Bunnelby…Great Choice Now My Turn…I choose you Axew"

Axew comes out on the field as they both look at each other as the Battle Begins

Bunnelby use Mud Shot

Bunnelby uses his ears at he creates two muddy balls and then shoots them towards Axew, Axew dodge it and use Leer

Axew dodges one of them but she couldn't dodge the second one and was hit by it but Axew took it, her eyes suddenly turned blue as she looks at Bunnelby and then Bunnelby's defense was lowered

Now Axew use Slash

Axew heads towards Bunnelby and hits him with her tusk, it was very powerful and made Bunnelby blowback a bit but he handled it and then glares towards Axew

"Good job holding on Bunnelby now use quick attack"

Bunnelby starts t head towards Axew with great speed and then suddenly hits her, Sky sees this and then at that moment tells Axew to use Bite

Axew bites Bunnelby's ear that hurts him a lot as Axew didn't stop biting him

Ray looks at this and remembers what Tyrunt used at the Gym as he smiles, Bunnelby use Flail

Bunnelby hand starts to shine as he pushes back Axew with those hands, Axew releases Bunnelby's ear when she was pushed back but she took it and stood there ready to battle more

They both stood against each other as Ray and Sky both shout out their moves

Bunnelby use Mud Shot, Axew use Assurance

Axew heads towards Bunnelby when Bunnelby shoots out two Mud shots towards Axew

Axew dodges both of them this time and then when Axew was finally close enough, her palm starts to shine as she charges it towards Bunnelby's head

The Palm hit Bunnelby and it pushed him to the ground fainting him

Ray looks at this as he sighs

'Aw man…I was so close"

The Battle was won by Sky and Axew

Ray calls back Bunnelby and keeps his Pokeball back on his belt, Sky does the same when they both hear claps from somewhere

They Look towards the Person and it was a person who was wearing a shirt with a vanillite on it

"That was a great battle"

The Person tells Sky and Ray

"Thanks…umm who are you?"

Sky asks The Person

"I am Mairin…nice to meet you guys"

Mairin tells Both Sky and Ray

"Mairin…wait I have heard that name somewhere before"

Ray tells Sky

"Wait…really where?"

Mairin asks Ray

"Mairin…Mairin ah wait I have heard that from Professor Sycamore once…I heard about your adventures with the Mega Evolution Specialist Alian…wait is he here?"

Ray asks Mairin

"Mega Evolution Specialist?"

Sky asks Ray

"Oh you must have not heard of him Sky…you should meet him…Professor talks a lot about him"

Ray tells Sky

"Well…right now Alian is not here…he is investigating something at the Pokemon Aquarium in Ambrette and I got bored there so I decided to come here"

Mairin tells Ray

"oh…well what happened at the Aquarium?"

Ray asks Mairin

"I don't know but some guys calling themselves Team Smoke are inside the Aquarium...they have locked the way to go in and we don't know what is going on there"

Sky hears that as he tightens his fist and runs away….Mairin and Ray hear him running away as Mairin asks Ray

"Where is he going?"

"Wait…what was the team name again?"

Ray asks Mairin

"Team Smoke"

Ray tells Mairin

Ray hears that and remembers the Lumiose City Incident

"Oh you gotta be kidding me"
