Fish is a vegetable.

The rays of light passed through the window and into his eyes.

Lazaro slowly got up. there was not a sign of fatigue on his body. He didn't even know when he fell asleep.

"...."

'Maybe Hyera did something?" He thought when the faint feeling of a swelling came from his nape. Concentrating in that area he felt it was a very small hole as if a real small needle entered him a hole slightly bigger than one a mosquito leaves behind.

He sniffed the air and felt a fragrance that he came to know recently. He turned to the side. A thin green branch came through the window.

Lazaro smiled and caressed it. The monster's essence entered his finger all the way to his head and showed him letters.

"You learned I'm weak to poison and such so you anesthetized me? Thank you." although the was grateful the question of how did it know he had trouble sleeping came to his mind as even Larissa wouldn't be able to see or predict it. But he dismissed the how's or why's and just thanked.

The small branch swayed as thought waving and shrank away to her friend's room.

Silently it shrank back all the way towards Larissa, who was already ready for the day, beside Lila who was drooling away on the bed.

Larissa was observing Lazaro since the first time he appeared, and in all the days they were there, she did not see him sleep. When he gathered enough energy, he didn't even bother taking a nap. She guessed he had a problem, and asked, Gaia, to help him.

She caressed the yellow rose with a smile, the seal on her chest shone and the one in the main branch also did. they were connected through it now. She remembered his word of yesterday and how he looks down on her. It made her eyes grow cold and she sent Gaia a message.

'Don't let him know I asked you to help him.'

"How did you do it?" Lazro asked

"DId what?" Larissa asked while preparing breakfast.

"....If you don' know it doesn't matter."

There was nothing she could do. After their talk yesterday she felt awkward offering help. But she observed his eyes and the bed, he stayed there on that position without moving, he wasn't able to sleep, remembering his weakness to mind tempering attacks she just asked her friend to adjust the poison to put him to sleep.

A cheap smiled appeared on his face. while drinking coffee from a mug. She could feel his annoying gaze on the back of her head.

"I need some clothes and other whatnots, can you do that?"

"No."

"...You're my Maid."

"Don't care."

"..."

"PffftAahahahaha! Lazaro of Superbia being thrown off by a woman! OH! This is so sweet!" Hyera sprawled herself on the table and laughed her ass off, seeing Lazaro concentrating on his mug of coffee she threw herself closer to him and nearly spit on his coffee mug while laughing like a maniac.

"Tsk."

"AH!" Hyera screamed and held her nose "YOU BIT MY NOSE!"

Larissa turned only to see Hyera looking like a Merry Christmas reindeer with the tip of nose blood red.

"Learn to treat your brother properly!" Lazaro snorted. "And you, maid. finish the breakfast soon, I want my clothe-Pfftt"

A pan flew on his head. Lazaro dodged in the nick of time and Lucas who just woke up suffered the damage. While Silver pointed laughed.

"WOMAN!" Lazaro snarled, but her cold eyes stared back at him. "We have a deal!" He said. "Sue me!" She retorted with a sneer. His words form yesterday still echoed through her mind.

"I'll do it If you come with me!" Lila popped on the table.

"Let's go then!

Lazaro put the mug down and walked outside, not giving Larissa a second glance.

Lila looked between them and felt weirdly stuffed.

"Your daddy and mommy are fighting but they still love you, don't worry," Hyera said with a paper on her nose.

"humpft!" Lila scoffed. And followed Lazaro out.

The grinning Hyera 's eyes gazed at the sudden at a loss Larissa.

"You're a horrible maid." She casually said.

"..."

Platters were suddenly put on the table.

Lucas sat across from Hyera. His eyes were stern as always. "Do you like meat?"

"...Yes?" Hyera nodded

He nodded and put two slices of bacon, a cut of sausage and two chicken thighs on her plate, with a separate fish fillet."The English usually eat this kind of breakfast with beans, but I thought the fish was enough of vegetables."

Larissa momentarily forgot her burst of anger and stared at Lucas who was behaving as if he was the one that cooked the food. She searched for the last ten minutes and realized he rose from the pan strike, walked to the kitchen counter took the food and placed on the table, while she and Lazaro snapped.

Hyera stared at him, she blinked in confusion.

He signaled the bacon with his hand. "Taste it."

"Eh..." She was a goddess, and lived quite long years with servants and had a lot of political meals, never, in her whole life, had she seen someone so uncouth and dense.

She looked down and took the bacon with her fork, then she noticed, "You say the fish was enough vegetable?"

It was his tie to blink. "Yes, father used to say it's always good to have some vegetable with meat."

"Fish is meat," Hyera said examining him

Lucas took a piece of it. chewed and swallowed, then looked straight into her eyes. "It's definitely a vegetable."

She was stiff at his assured gaze, then his lips broke into a cheap grin.

"Oh! asshole you're messing with me!" Hyera laughed.

Larissa looked at them in wonder, that was a horrible joke why were they laughing? She thought while silver laughed awkwardly. Lucas asked him a few tips on wooing women And he told the old saying of firs you start with the stomach then you make her laugh.

It went bizarrely good.

Larissa looked in Lucas's eyes with a face red from laughter."Pfft, you're weird." She said and bit down on the bacon. Her eyes widened with a wonderful gleam.

"This is way better than in my homeworld!"

Lucas grinned at her then blinked at Silver.

Silver responded with a forced laugh, looked at the amused Hyera and shrugged his shoulders. 'It's a big fish to catch brother.' He thought to himself.

"D-Did you really understood it?" Lazaro scoffed and stepped on the accelerator. But the car didn't budge

"...Why?" He asked.

"You can't just press all the way, it's security system won't allow the car to jump forward with speed on the city..."

"..."

"Do you want me to drive?" Lila asked gently.

Feeling the carefulness on her tone made Lazaro almost shed a tear for his manhood.

"No." He stubbornly denied.

He tried again, gently, the car moved; Lila sighed with relief and secretly activated the auto auxiliary driver.

"As I thought this thing is easy." He smiled cheaply and they went away to the center of the city.
