Chapter 4

"Not everything you see is real."

As Jae woke up from her slumber, she looked around her to see all the boys asleep. All of them joined her and Jungkook on her ginormous bed and found different spots to sleep in. Jungkook of course, had his head resting on her shoulder, cheeks stained a little from crying.

She sighs and looks around her. Her pets were in the same place they were the last time she was awake.

Suddenly, a vision, a very dark vision, plays in her eyes:

Come on Jae~ we need your help~

Jae could hear a soft tender voice call out to her. She opens her eyes to see the room that was once a bright and royal looking room, to a dark, torn apart, bruised looking room.

She looks at the boys and sees draggers in each of their chests. She gasp and scurries to the end of the bed to get a better look, and to see if she was hallucinating. But sadly, she wasn't.

Each of the boys had blood coming from a certain side of their mouths' and had a certain dead look on their faces. Jae, terrified as ever, checked to see if they were alive.

Jungkook coughed hard, blood spewing on the bed sheets.

"K-kookie!" She touches his pale face, his eyes looking at hers.

"What happened to you?!" He coughs up more blood.

"Jae, you need to leave," Jungkook says.

I wouldn't believe him Jae. He's a vampire, and we can't trust them.

She looks at him.

"Jae...run." She knew when he said run, he wasn't joking around. He took in his last breath before dying in front of her.

"No no no! Wake up!" She shakes him, but he doesn't move.

Ahhh Jae. You should've listened.

Jae gets off the bed and starts to run out of the room.

As she runs, she sees bodies on the floor and bodies on the walls, all of people she knew dearly.

You see Jae! They did this. THEY didn't want the Magicas to rule!

She looks all around, searching for the voice, but at the same time, running for her life

"Don't look back Jae, keep running." She told herself and ran faster. She could hear evil chuckling sounds all around her.

When she reached the main room of the castle, aka the throne room, she saw people lying on the floor, knifes in their body, gun shots in them, or vampire bites.

She stops and looks at all of them. 23 if she was to be precise.

She looks at the throne to see her own parents, dead in front of her eyes. She widens her eyes as the chuckling gets louder.

"Jae!" She hears a voice call. She turns her head to see Mrs. Jeon on the wall, a dragger also in her.

"W-what's happening!" Jae says. She starts to hear a music box playing out of nowhere.

"Jae, you need to run. Now." She demands, before passing out.

Jae holds in all of her emotions the best she can and starts to run again.

As she reaches the hallway closest to the outside world, she is met with a person she cares for the most.

Aaahh, well would ya looky there. It's little miss Jiyeon.

Jae gasp as she sees her walking her way, a knife in her stomach. Blood makes a trail behind her and all over her outfit.

"J-Jae. You need to-" and just like that, she falls to the floor, dead.

She starts to panic, the chuckling sound increases, so does the music box.

Well Jae, you've heard all of them...

Run

Jae and her very fast 15 year old legs, runs outside of the castle.

Outside, the sky has dark cloud, like it is fixing to rain. She continues to hear the chuckling, but the music box comes to a stop almost.

She looks around, no one there. She panics and looks for a safe place.

Aww, my little old Jae Jae is scared.

"Shut up whoever you are!" The voice chuckles. Jae starts to feel her inside shrinking. She gasp for air and runs in the flower fields.

With little air left, she makes it far away from the castle and town as much as she can.

All of a sudden... the music stops.

Everything is silent...

This is the end...

Well Jae, I have to say. I enjoyed your company tonight. I can't wait to see you again.

And just like that, the little air she had, vanishes and she passes out in the fields.

With Jungkook

When Jungkook wakes up, he suspects that Jae is still asleep right beside him, or she is awake. As he goes to put his arm around her, he finds out that's he was touching something else. Air.

He bolted up from the bed and looks around. He looks at her light up clock and sees it's only 1:30.

"Where could she be?" He thinks to himself. He starts to wake up the others, telling them the situation.

"She's probably with her parents." Namjoon says.

Then out of nowhere, they hear a scream, a scream they didn't expect to hear.

"Jae!" Jungkook yells. He dashes out of the bed and into the hall.

He runs around, but sees no sign of her.

"Where is the princess? Where did she go?" He ask a few maids and butlers. They all pointed to the throne room.

He starts running into the throne room, when he is met up with Jiyeon.

"Jungkook, why are you running-" Jiyeon didn't finish, as he went straight pass her.

He looks in the throne room to see only his parents, her parents, and a few other people.

My vampire instincts are telling me something's not right here. His eyes change into his orange protective eyes he always had for Jae.

His parents look at him in shock.

"Sweetheart, what's the matter?" He looks at her in desperation.

"I heard her. I-I heard Jae scream. She's in danger." All of them look at each other.

"Is that why she went outside and stopped to look around the place?" He widens his eyes and runs outside.

When he goes outside, he catches a lot of attention from some workers of the castle and townspeople.

He grabs his Pegasus and flys in the air, searching for Jae.

"Alright now, look for Jae." His Pegasus nods and flys around.

For a few minutes he saw no sign of her, until he saw an uneven piece of grass. When he looked closer, he saw her laying in the field.

"JAE!!!" He yells, pulling on the Pegasus's reins and guides him to her.

When they meet ground level, he jumps off and runs to her, falling to his knees. He checks to see if she has a pulse and sighs in relief when he finds one.

He gently picks her up and puts her on the Pegasus, then gets on right after and heads to the castle.

Once he gets there he lands the Pegasus and hops off. He then carries Jae into the castle.

"I don't know what's happening ma'am. All I know is Jungkook woke us up and said something about Jae, then we heard a scream and he left." Namjoon says to Queen Jeon.

Suddenly, Jungkook comes in with Jae in his arms.

"Omg Jae!" The Queen yells, running over to her. Everyone with wide eyes, panics over the sleeping princess.

"Jungkook, what happened?" The queen ask.

"I-I-I don't know. I knew something wasn't right, a-and I went to go look for her and found her passed out in the fields." A few maids come running down the hall to come get the princess. They try to take her out of his arms, but he refuses.

"I've got it." He says in a stern voice.

"Is she breathing?" He nods his head.

"Well come on, let's take her to her bedroom." He nods and starts walking to Jae's room, maids following behind.
