Orochimaru's hideout

Upon landing all 3 of Yashiro sent a fire technique in front of him that lit up a number of torches in what seemed to be a long hall. On the scorched wall, there was still visible ornate carvings. "Seems this really is one of Orochimaru's old hideouts. Kuro, go tell Mikot to send his summon with a report of everything that happened here. Lord Hokage needs to assign a new team to our previous mission. Our new mission is looking through this hideout and learn whatever we can from what Orochimaru left behind after his death." Yashiro ordered.

Kuro left in a flash to relay Yashiro's orders, meanwhile Izumi and Yashiro walked through the hall with intentions to comb through the hideout.

"Master, why did our new mission change? Isn't Orochimaru long dead by now? why does all this take precedence?". Hearing his young student he softly sighed "Yes, Orochimaru is long dead, but the village he established long ago still exists. When all nations scrambled over land and power after the fall of 5 great nation, Otogakure never lifted a finger. There were plenty spies sent to Otogakure after the fall of 5 great nations, but none ever returned.". "But what does his old village have to do with the reason for a change in out mission?" young kunoichi inquired once again. "Well, since we're already here, I think there's no reason to hide it from you anymore. It will likely affect you in the future anyway.

Lord Hokage isn't stupid, neither was our previous Hokage. Once the scramble for power started our eyes were always directed towards Otogakure. Do you really think that with the power we possessed at that time it was impossible to fight at east one of those small nations off completely? Although Orochimaru helped in Konoha after 4th great war, that was Orochimaru alone. Even after his death, very little is known about all the experiments he carried out. Don't forget that in 4th ninja war, 5 great nations fought against weakened copies of 1st Lord Hokage. And after 4th ninja war there appeared a few Uchiha children possessing Sharingan. Basedo n this we know that he experimented with Senju and Uchiha bloodlines. Who knows what else he used to experiment on?

We've suspected for a long time now that the real threat to us is Otogakure with unknown power. It's a high possibility that Otogakure already has a group of capable Senju and Uchiha shinobi that Orcohimaru created. Based on all that previous lord Hokage chose to preserve most of our time and bide our time, waiting for a real enemy to step into the light. Current Hokage shares this same belief. That is also the reason why we only used the Uchihas that have not awakened their sharingan yet in out previous battles. Right now, we are all that is left of Uchiha, at least ones that can use sharingan. I greatly hope my young nephew is able to awaken it, I want you to lead your own team once you reach Jonin rank. In another 5-6 years, the leadership of next generation will fall to you. I always wanted you to lead my nephew's team.

Little girl we found today was an unexpected find. She's about same age as my nephew, in 2 years time she will graduate to genin, and so will my nephew, Itama. And don't forget Lord Hokage's eldest son. I want you to lead those 3, so you have 2 years of hard work ahead of you, and I plan to whip you into shape by then!"

"I understand master, but how will the little girl...". "You mean how will she be able to fight and use ninjutsu with only one arm? Don't worry about that. Although we can't use Hashirama Senju's cells like Lady Tsunade did for Lord Seventh, she can still learn to weave signs with one arm, it will take her some time, but i believe she has the wits to pull it off. Before shes placed under you, I will take her under my wing and take care of her studies."

With their conversation on their mind, the master and student pair finally reached a door. Looking at each other and nodding they opened the door and entered a new chamber.

Dark room was soon lit up with soft light that torches held in the pair's hand were giving off. The room was pull of wooden shelves piled up with old books and scrolls. In a corrner in the floor, there was another big scroll collecting dust.

"There's too much to look though right now. We will need to trouble Lord Hokage to send a few more teams to get everything to Konoha and look through it there." Yashiro said while walking to the big scroll set in the corner. Lifting it up and opening it his eyes widened in surprise.

Noticing his reaction, Izumi quickly walked to him and checked the scroll. It was Snake summoning contract scroll!
