Fossil?

A strange amber portal opened in our MC's world. Normal portals were blue-ish in colour, but this one was purple and violet. Also, bolts of electricity can be seen near it. After sometime, a small, reddish brown amber soul orb floated out from it.

In a crater of the moon, an asteroid crashed. An amount of sand was blown off. Afterwards, a fossil was revealed.
