A debanoir, one of the most dashing bachelor and the most successful entrepreneur of his generation. He is conceited and ruthless when it comes to business. Love is not a part of his lifestyle. But things change when he sets his eyes on Anna who beholds him in a trance from which he never wants to come out. He gradually understand the meaning of love and...... pain. "I love you Anna." He finally confessed. 

His heartfelt confession moved a string in her dead heart as if awakening her soul from a deep sleep. Those three simple words that were barely above a whisper held the utmost conviction of his every promise that he had silently made to her. She didn't expect something like that. Her eyes widened in shock and she muttered unbelievingly. 

"You love me?" She shook her head still not believing what she heard from him and gulped. "You love me. As….as a friend…..friend, right? As a….."

The edges of his lips curled up slightly. Out of all the reactions, it was the most unexpected from her. She was still not ready to believe what she heard and he was determined to make her believe every word he said. He cut her off to speak further and repeated again. 

"I love you......as a man loves a woman Anastasia."

The Connected Souls

Within no time, Regan reached the hospital. He was passing through the hospital's corridor while talking to his mother on the phone who was assuring him about Nathan's well-being when he collided with someone. He groaned in frustration as he was already pissed off. 


He was caught off guard by the abrupt collision with Anastasia. But the moment he laid his eyes on her, he forgot everything. He saw her falling down and his hands immediately wrapped themselves around her waist to secure her from getting hurt. His face  was inches away from her and she had shut her eyes closed in terror which gave him a bit to observe her exquisite features. Her soft brown hair were covering her face from here and there and her long eyelashes were draping her beautiful orbs underneath. The panic and fear on her face were unable to hide her beauty. After a while, when she opened her ocean blue eyes, he was enthralled by them. Instantaneously, he noticed some changes in her expressions and he realized about their close proximity and the awkward stance in which he was holding her. The very next moment, he felt a force which enforced him to step back. Before he could comprehend further, Anna was gone. He only got a glimpse of her silhouette at the end of the hospital's passage. "Who was the enchanting beauty?" he said to himself. 


Meanwhile, his mother came out of the room and saw Regan in a perplexed state. She went to him and took him to Nathan's ward. "Dad..... Why on earth would you travel without your chauffeur? You know that it's not advisable for you to drive on your own. I can't even imagine what would have happened if you were not brought here on time."


"Relax son, I am okay now. It was just a mild concussion. Thanks to the kindhearted girl that brought me here on time."


Regan roamed his sight across the room but found none. He raised his brows to ask further about her when his mother suddenly spoke, "Oh My..... I was so anxious about you that I did not even notice her to give my gratitude. Where is she? We must thank her anyway. "


"Dad, I think she had already left, actually before I came here we just crashed into each other. She seemed to be in a hurry."


Anna was still shivering while thinking about her proximity with the stranger. When she pushed him hard, she directly came out of the hospital where there was raining dogs and cats. She immediately called for her car and without thinking further about the prior incident, she made her way towards the Knights Corporation. However, when she reached there, she came to know about the dismissal of the meeting. She came to know about the displeasure that she created due to her absence among the Board Members, especially Regan Knight. And now there were thin chances that he would actually be interested in continuing ahead. 


She felt a pang of pain in her heart which was completely dissapointed by now. But she did not regret her decision to help that man because no one better than her would understand the pain felt at the loss of your beloved. 


She then called Richard and informed him everything. She was expecting that Richard might admonish her for the loss. But like always he just supported her and asked her to be strong and think of other ways to deal with the Knights.
