General POV
Ishizu bowed before the Kung Fu masters, thanking them for the two weeks he could spend with them and learn Chi.
Finding new friends was always something one could do but now was the time for goodbyes.
"If you ever want to return and learn Chi then all you have to do is ask. Once I send you back I will return everyone that wants back to their world since the Spirit Realm is for those who the name implies, Spirits," explained Po before creating a portal.
"2 weeks have passed here, but only around 20 hours have passed on your world. From what little the other pandas reported, the war just started, so if you hurry you'll make it in time. Unfortunately, the portal back isn't so accurate, so while it will bring you back to your world, I have no idea where so good luck with finding out."
Ishizu could only facepalm. He had to hurry and stop this war. With all the changes he made over the past years the war could go crazy.
Let's just hope that Edo Madara is not back yet or if he is, he has his warm-up with the Kages.
Ishizu would put all the blame on Po if people died because the panda thought it was a good idea to send him to some remote place.
Before Ishizu could move, somebody enveloped him in a tight hug. To his shock, it was Tigress.
"You will return. Do you understand? Our last fight was fought without honor. Be a man and fight like one. No tricks."
The glare she was giving him could melt any heart and Ishizu couldn't help but smile and pat her head, causing Tigress to freeze.
"Don't worry. If I have time, I will return. Don't forget me. Any of you!"
Waving goodbye, Ishizu stepped through the portal.
Scene change
'Drop'
A teenage-looking boy looked up from his books towards his father, who dropped his. There wasn't much that could make such a sound and whatever the reason, it concerned him. His father wouldn't drop books so causally. They were sacred, after all.
"Father, what is wrong?" the boy asked curiously, but the frown on his father's face didn't drop.
"Stay here, son. Somebody just broke the barrier to our holy place, and I doubt they would come here with good intentions."
The man quickly left the boy, who didn't know if he should stay as his father told him or see what this was all about. He was curious, after all. The boy earned for new adventures and maybe this one was?
Ishizu POV
'Urgh, I shall refrain from using dimensional portals for the time being,' I groaned as the portal spat me out rather forcefully and I crashed into a bookshelf.
Now where in the actual hell was I?
Dusting myself off from all the dust lying everywhere, I looked around to find myself in someone's bedroom with a nice bed, expensive furniture, and other stuff one would usually find in a room of a noble… young girl?
"Eh, excuse me, but are you perhaps from the planet?"
My eyes narrowed towards the bed where a few blankets hid a small girl… wait, those eyes and skin… an Otsutsuki? There on that bed was an Otsutsuki girl.
Where the hell did that portal bring me?
Either way, I had to get some information out and the girl was the first I met, so I gave her a smile. She was young and playing the nice guy would give me better options to interrogate her.
"I am not sure. You probably lived here for a long time, right? Would you be able to tell me where I am? I just crashed her."
My friendly demeanor must have given her courage to drop the blanket and, like lighting, she shot out towards me. Stranger danger anyone?
"Yes! I found one that can bring me down! Who are you? How old are you? Are you a warrior that kills people and children?"
So many questions for such a naïve child, and what was that last one?
"... on the moon."
"Excuse me?"
"For your question. You are on the moon," she repeated with an innocent smile.
A groan escaped my lips as I realized what she was referring to.
No wonder she looked like an Otsutsuki. She was a descendant of Hamura Otsutsuki and therefore not a pure-blooded one, yet she still had her Byakugan eyes and her skin really resembled Kaguya in a few ways.
My hand unconsciously clenched at the bed, causing it to break because somebody lied to me. There was no random portal bullshit. Po deliberately sent me here since this is the same dimension but a different planet/moon.
That panda!
"Good to know. Now how do I get back to the planet? I live there, after all."
Her eyes widened, and she squealed in a high-pitched tone.
"So you really are from down there! Yes! Take me with you!" she shouted in excitement, and I could only shake my head.
"Sorry, but I don't want to babysit a child when a war is going on."
She pouted. She actually pouted, and it looked so cute. Looking closely, I assumed her to be around 9 or 10 years.
"C'mon, why not? It's boring here. Grandpa Ro is so mean and grumpy all the time. Every time I ask him to go out, he refuses. Since father was killed, I was forbidden to leave or I would be killed."
I actually raised an eyebrow. Hearing a child talking so causally about death wasn't a good sign of proper development.
"But with you here, I can leave! I bet you don't know how to leave the moon, right?" she smirked. That damm girl smirked.
"No, I don't, but that doesn't mean I can't find it."
I was caught off guard when she clung to my waist and hugged me. A stranger. She wouldn't survive a day back home. Let go, you evil spawn.
"Please! I bet you. I don't want to lose my eyes." Her demeanor changed as she cried, "I'd rather die!"
My memory was a bit hazy, but I think that there once was a civil war between two factions on the moon. One won and they tributed their eyes to some giant Tenseigan inside the moon.
I thought the others died leaving only Toneri behind, but the movie was later in the timeline, so maybe someone else was alive.
I'd rather not get myself into this complete fiasco. She mentioned some grandpa, so that means there are at least two or even three Otsutsuki descendants alive. One was an adult and I doubt he was happy for me to be here.
I could try to fool her since I have no idea how to leave the moon. Try to get her to show me the place and leave her behind.
"Lying won't help you." I focused down to meet her eyes and the grin she was giving me.
"I don't know what you are talking about."
Her grin made me nervous as she pointed at her eyes.
"My eyes can decipher your chakra pathways on such a level that I can tell if you are lying to me or not."
Holy shit, if what she said was true, she was a walking lying detector!
Before I could respond, the door to the outside was broken, and an old man entered. I could see that he had his eyes closed, meaning he had none, but nonetheless his head turned to me. A sensor.
"A shinobi, here? This is no place for people like you. Your life ends here."
Suddenly, 10 puppets came out from behind him and charged at me.
Now I could blast them away with a quick Shinra Tensei, but I was in a closed room and a minor was clinging to my torso for her life.
Harming or even killing an innocent child would not sit well on my consciousness and I doubt Kaguya would be happy to know I killed a child to bring her back. Nope, not going that way.
So I turned towards the window I'd seen earlier and jumped out with the girl clinging to me… and we were high up.
"Ooooh shiiiit!" Gravity, why have you forsaken me?
Unfortunately, this wasn't some looney toons cartoon, so gravity took its effect immediately.
As we were falling, I wasn't concerned about myself. I could survive this fall, but why about the little parasite?
Well, the girl was screaming her lungs off, but the sound was not one of fear but excitement.
"Futon: Wind Step."
Coating my feet with wind chakra, I step on air on the moon to halter my descending by jumping. Ladies and Gentlemen, I will present you Geppo or rather Moon Walk, hehe.
"After him, don't let him get away with Yura!" the old man shouted, and the puppets flew right after us.
"Go there and then right before jumping down a small hole," the girl actually spoke in a commanding voice.
I was a missing-nin. I wouldn't even follow the command of a Kage, let alone a child, but since I had no direction in this place, there wasn't any other option than to let her guide me.
Yes, she was a guide and wasn't commanding me.
When I saw the hole she mentioned, I jumped down to find myself in an abandoned town. It looked a bit futuristic compared to what was in Konoha.
"What is that?"
"My father told me about this when I was younger. He and his friend stayed here. Grandpa doesn't know I know of this place, so he won't look here for a while."
I glanced around to look for anything useful, but the town was abandoned. There was a fight here going by the destruction and the destroyed puppets lying around.
I rolled my eyes when I felt a large mass still on my body crawling up my leg. Then it shifted position and clones towards my back and shoulders.
"Would you be a good girl and get off my back?" I asked, turning my head to the side to get greeted by only an enormous grin from the girl.
"You are warm and I am a child, so carry me like a princess."
I just rolled my eyes. During my Genin years, I had a few of those missions where one had to guard nobles, and once in a while, there was a spoiled little girl that needed attention.
Kakashi was usually the first to be picked for his looks, but the children soon realized how dull Kakashi was with him, not showing any emotions.
Obito looked 'uncool' to the kids with his goggles and Rin was a girl, so it didn't count for the noble girls.
All that was left was me, and I had the chance to talk and play with young little girls. I had the nerve to do it. Just breathe in… and out.
"So, your name is Yura right?"
"Yup, Yura Otsutsuki. Bow before your highness."
Then she placed one of her hands on my head.
"You too are one. My Byakugan saw through your chakra. There was this one old dusty book that I read. It was about my ancestors, Hamura-sama. He had a brother who had the same eyes as you, right?"
Since I knew that lying was impossible, I just spoke the truth.
"That's right. I am one of the many people who were born with chakra after Hamura's brother Hagoromo Otsutsuki distributed chakra to the people on the planet."
She hit me in the head.
"But that doesn't explain your Otsutsuki chakra. Father told me about the relatives we have on the planet. The Hyūga have the Byakugan and are also descendants from Hamur-samA and yet their blood is diluted, so they aren't part of the Otsutsuki anymore."
"That's… a secret."
Just because she could tell a lie from the truth doesn't mean I have to tell her the truth at all.
"Buh, you are a meany… I haven't asked your name yet."
"Ishizu Sasaki. Nice to meet you, Yura Otsutsuki."
"I'll call you Ishizu-nii!"
Seeing a good enough hose, I entered.
"All right, princess. Off with you."
Just when my hand touched hers, I felt a tingling sensation, as if something was transferred between us. Yura shouted in surprise and fell down to the ground.
"Au, au, au. What was that?" she asked as she shook her hand.
I looked at my hand, but the numbness was gone as soon as it came, but I froze when I looked at hers.
A small black seal formed on her tiny hand. I didn't watch much of Boruto since I disliked it, but I still got spoiled to hell and this thing was not good. Not good at all.
'Fuck, it's a Kāma.'
