Day 6

I made a number five with stick arms sticking out of it with arms wide open. Kyle smirked at the cover before opening it. "Five is your time to jump and jive."

He closed the card and told me, "Well, I did jump and jive a lot as a kid. I was the best dancer out of all the boys."

"Oh really?" I asked him.

"Really. In fact, I can try some now." Kyle grabbed the walking pole from his other side of the bed and walked a little bit. "Can I hold both of your hands? It's better than using the walking pole to get around."

"Sure," I reply as I stand up from my chair to give him both of my hands to hold.

When he does, he places the right hand he's holding at my waist and pulls me close to him. We just sway together as he says, "The only thing that would make this moment more perfect is if you had a curve hugging dress."

I shake my head in disapproval but a smile still slips out. "I see the lady agrees with me," Kyle answered.

"You have heard about the Me Too movement right?"

"Yes, but it doesn't stop me from wanting to jump and jive on my fifth birthday." He raised his brows as he said, "And now, is time for the finale." Kyle let's go of my left hand and with a surprising amount of forces spins me out with my right. We're still holding hands at arm's length before a bemused expression settles in. "Now, you're supposed to swing back to me."

I swing back towards him. Letting his arms wrap around me as my free hand finds his chest. I look up at Kyle and he looks down at me. "Permission to kiss my dance partner?"

"Permission denied," I replied. He scowls and I tweak his nose.

"You're still in my arms," Kyle replied.

"I know."
