Chapter 4. A Surprise.

They see a huge Cretaraian ship hidden in the woods.

Ace replies "Must of already been here." Then he whispers in her ear "Are you going to tell her what really happened?"

She whispers "Eh, maybe later? It's none of her business."

He whispers "Mhm. Come here you." He pulls her close, she smiles and giggles.

They realize they're all watching and she pushes him off and clears her throat and says while smiling "Anyways. Let's go inside. There might be survivers."

They open it. Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Athena and Apollo walk out with 8 others that they've never seen.

All in shock, Soni says "Zeus? Hades? Oh my gosh I thought."

Zeus says "Sonia, hm, it's been awhile."

She replies "Ye-yeah. Heh heh about me and your son I- "

Zeus interrupts "No need to bring up the past. Talking about my son have you seen him lately? How's he doing?"

She replies with tears in her eyes "I'm sorry but. Everyone's gone. All of them. My Dad, my Mom. Your son. I'm so sorry." Tears roll down.her face

He replies "How-how is this possible? Who did this?"

Ace replies "Sir, it was your wife Sir, Hera, she blew up your planet at an attempt to blow up mine."

Zeus says "That fool. How could she betray me and her people, killing her own children and herself in the process."

He walks off Apollo says "They're all dead."in shock. They all part off and run away, they follow Zeus.

Soni says "Ace make sure we could still use it" she whispers "Don't think you get away that easy" she walks off towards Zeus, and goes after him.

She makes the rest stay behind and she goes to Zeus and says "Zeus, I know it's alot to take in but-"

He interrupts her again "I'm fine. Child I know you're just trying to help, but i can manage. Go back to the others we'll find our own way."

She does as he says and goes back to Ace.

She goes inside the ship, looks around makes sure that's all of them. Mumbles to herself "But of course my parents couldn't of went with them." She starts to cry again. Ace hears, walks over to her holds her close for a moment, stops and looks at her, wipes her tears and says "Shh" he continues "We're in this together okay? I know you miss them all so much, but we're going to get through this and bring them justice." He kisses her forehead and hugs her again. He let's go and grabs her hand saying "Lets get the others." They go get the others.

They find Echo and Lares, Soni says to them "Hey Echo, Lares, we found another ship. Come. Let's see if it's the last." They follow Ace and Soni. They find Sunny and Korey and Ace says "Sunny, Korey we found another ship, follow us." They get back to the ship. When inside Soni shuts the door and starts the ship. While she says "Let's see if we can navigate any others that survived."

It shows the map with red, blue, and yellow dots on them.

She says "The red dots are their ships, the blue are humans, and yellow are us."

Sunny points at a yellowish blue dot and asks "But what about this one? This one is like a mix of human and Olympain? Is that possible?"

She replies "Maybe it's a glitch or they're human but a Olympain just happens to be super close."

Ace says "Soni is that. Me?"

Shocked she realizes it is and says "Ace what have you not told us?"

He replies "I swear I never knew, I-I-I what if-no nevermind. I don't want to talk about it." He walks off.

She counts the red dots and says "Looks like about 8 more ships or more. No telling if there are any survivers."

Soni walks over to Ace says to him "Ace are-"

He interrupts "I'm fine Soni. It's just you wouldn't understand."

She replies "Yes, I would. Just tell me even if I don't I'll try to."

He sighs and replies "I think my Mother was Olympain. I think. I think that's why she left. But she's dead. I didn't even get to say goodbye."

She hugs him tightly saying "Shhh, I understand. It's okay I'm here."

She let's go.

She says "Wait so. Are you part Olympain?"

He replies "I-I'm not sure. I-I guess I could ask my Father, if we could get him sober enough maybe he could tell us if he doesn't tell us when drunk."

She says "That could work." She whispers to herself "At least you have a Father."

She goes into one of the rooms, sits there. Ace follows her sits beside her. She says "Ace. I-I-I did this. It was my fault."

He hugs her and says "Soni look at me." She looks at him with tears in her eyes he continues "It wasn't your fault. Hera is the only one gulty of her actions, she had a choice, she had her chance and she choose to blow up the planet because of her selfish ways. We tried to stop her yes but it'll always be her fault. Not yours." They sit their for awhile. Dry their tears and go back to the others.

Soni says as she's points at a dot "Let's go there." And she's starts it.

They arrive at a ship. Sonia's about to open it when Ace says "No, no, let me. No telling what's behind that door." She nods and he opens it.

He makes sure it was safe, inside he sees a group of Olympains in bright colors few injured. Ace yells "Soni! Hurry get in here, it's safe." She runs in, and the others follow. She sees wounded ones all around, one lays there almost dead, with blood gushing out his mouth, stomach and leg. She runs over to him, her hands glow bright whiteish teal, as she tries to heal him, even tries CPR. He stops breathing, she keeps trying CPR, one pluse after another, again she says, "Come on, come on, stay with me, stay with me, please" it's still not working, and he stops breathing. She cries a little then suddenly he starts breathing again. The next, wasn't as bad, a few metal pieces in her leg, she takes them out and heals her. Then the next and the next until she was drained of her powers. Barely walking as the ones she healed were completely healed. Ace helps her and they thank her, hug her and they go back to their ship.

Ace lays her down makes her sleep.

When she wakes she says "Alright I'm ready now. Let's go to the next one." They go to the next one.

Their they arrive, open the ship. This time it was Cretaraians who were wounded, but she still healed them. Then the next ship then the next until there weren't any left. That they knew of.

Soni says "Ace do you want to me to check and see if she's Olympain or Human?" He says "Yes but how?" She says "Just watch" she touches his arm and her hand glows bright green and her eyes. She says "Your blood says your Mother was Olympain. But that doesn't mean she was still on Olympa when it blew" Ace replies "So I'm-I'm part Olympain?" She nods saying "I could be wrong but yes. Your Mother could still be on Earth. Somewhere." He replies "Well let's find her." She tries to search for her in the ship on it's computer, she asks as she's typing "What's her name?" He replies "She went by Eden I believe or at least that's what my Dad called her." She nods and searches 'Eden'. She finds one and says "Is this her?" Ace says "It-it is. Omg I can't believe this, it's really her. Thank you Soni." She giggles and he hugs her, she says as he's squeezing her tightly "Okay, okay, not so tight." He slowly let's go while saying "Soni." She replies "Yes?" He says "You're the best girl I could ever ask for. Let me reward you" he winks, she giggles saying "I do like a good reward" she smiles big. He pulls her close, he kisses her she kisses back, he whispers in her ear "Soni, will you be mine?" She replies in shock and joy "Yes! Yes! Yes!" He laughs, she kisses him again and then jumps around like crazy while he laughs, she stops and he says "You're such a weirdo"

While they smile.

Five months later.

Ace yells "Soni! SONI no!"

She replies with tears running down her face sad and angry "This is the only way! She deserves vengeance! I'm tried of standing by while we watch people die because of him! No more!"

He replies "Soni, is this what she would of wanted? Is this who you are now? Someone who kills for vengeance?"

She lowers her sword from his throat slowly, saying "What, what have I done." She drops to her knees in tears. Ace goes over to her and hugs her. She pushes him off and runs off he says "Soni wait!"

She runs and runs until she falls on her face, she cries even more. She stays there for a few hours while Ace is there with him.

Five months ago.

Jack says as he's about to kill her "Haha pathetic." He kills her.

Sonia and Ace are walking and sees Jack and her dead body and about 20 others laying there.

Soni yells "Jack! Stop! You didn't have to kill them! They didn't have to die!"

Jack says "Haha, they were easy kill, pretty pathetic actually. I almost regret it because I got a little bored."

Soni says "You're crazy! They really messed you up didn't they?"

Jack says "Not really, they just brought out what was already deep down inside me, I thank them for it."

Present

She sits there and finally gets up.

Ace finds her and takes her home.

Five weeks later

Ace and Soni go searching for Aces Mother, find a place they think she might be and they go looking.

They arrive at a dark forest, they start walking and suddenly a tree starts to move, standing still they stare at it in shock, the roots start to expand and stretch out towards them, the tree it self starts to expand and get bigger and taller, the tree starts to growl at them, the tree stretches it self up towards the sky then suddenly swoops down and grabs them both, Sonia screams, and Ace says "What is this thing!?" The tree freezes when Ace says that and says "I am, Lord Alodar Yaztromo of the forest and you are?" As he lowers them gently, in shock Ace says "Your Lord I'm Ace this is Sonia." Alodar replies "It's great to meet you. Oh and sorry about scarying you earlier, I thought you were the little-" he stops and says "Hurry hide!" He hides them in his skin. A weird lizard like animal slithers towards them rather fast, the lizard says to Lord Alodar "Your Majesty" in a sort of mocking tone as he bows he continues "If you see two things that walk on two feet come by, tell me. Madame Daisy wants them dead." Lord Alodar replies "Yes sir." The lizard goes back from where it came. He let's Ace and Soni our and Soni says "Lord Alodar, what was that? Who's Madame Daisy?" Ace says "And why do they want us dead?" He replies "One question at a time. To answer your first question Sonia, that my dear was a serpent, they work for Daisy, Daisy is our creator, or at least she made us who we all are in the forest now, we used to be just regular trees, serpents who just lived a normal life and didn't have minds of our own now we're this, still mindless, we're her slaves unless they follow me, I don't believe what she's doing is right, she made us slaves, we were never suppose to be like this in the first place. She says she freed us, but we may be alive but we are not free." Soni says "I'm sorry. Is there anything we could do?" He replies "No, no, this is our problem not yours." She nods "I understand. If we're ever needed don't hesitate to find us." Ace says "Can you take us to her?" Alodar replies "You both are very strong and fearless but if I did that I'd be betraying everything I've worked for these years, I will find you a proper guide one whom I trust with my life." He then yells "Akáthartos!!" a white panther comes out of the shadows and bows saying "Yes my Lord?" He replies "Guide this two, two legged talking beings. Ace and Sonia I hope to see you again, good luck my dear." Akáthartos replies "Yes your Majesty." Ace and Sonia wave and Soni says "Thank you goodbye."

Akáthartos says "Why do trespassers want to see our creator?" Ace replies "We want to set you free. And we believe she knows where my Mother is." She replies "Very well. But be careful she's very uh dangerous. She hasn't seen any of her people in a long time" they continue walking.

They walk for a hour more and finally arrive at her palace made of vines, leaves, trees and moss. The door opens as they walk closer to it. Inside there are tons of serpents and animals all around growling, hissing. When the doors close, suddenly a beautiful woman dressed in a beautiful green dress, with moss, leaves, and vines. She says "Stand down. That's not how we treat our guests." They all stand down as she gets closer to them. She sees Akáthartos and says "My child have you come to visit?" She replies "No, Madame these two were found in the forest, they were curious about you." Eve replies "Awe about me? Ask me anything, especially the handsome one." Akáthartos says "My work here is down, I will leave now." The animals grawl yet again and Eve says "It's alright my children let her go." Akáthartos leaves.

Ace asks Eve "Have you ever heard of a woman named Eden?"

She replies in shock "Yes. She was my best friend growing up Eden Torres she was truly beautiful. Why do you ask?"

Ace replies "I believe she was or is my Mother, Madame."

She replies "You have the best Mother a kid could as for."

He replies "That's the problem, she left when I was 3. Was she Olympain?"

She replies "I'm so sorry. Yes she was. Strongest, woman I ever met. She loved your Father, but she never told me about you."

Soni says "Thank you Eve but we really should be going now."

Her beasts and serpents start grawling at them backing them up towards the door. Eve replies "Why leave so soon? We've only just met, stay a bit longer I'll even make you dinner and you can even stay the night, I don't get very many visitors."

Soni says "Please let us go."

Eve replies "We don't let trespassers go. We take care of them." She says with a smile.

Ace says "Eve, let us go, for Eden."

She laughs and replies "For Eden? How sweet but no, she ruined my life it's my turn to ruin hers, by killing you. You should of just accepted dinner, well eh I'd still kill you"

Ace says "Soni? Do you trust me?" In a serious tone

she replies "Yes, of course I do, why?"

He continues "Take my hand"

She takes his hand, his pupils turn pitch black, and his eyes smoke a black flame like substance a dark black cloud flows around them and then poof they vanish, first they accidentally appear behind them.

Ace says "My bad. Bye!"

Then poof gone again but this time they appear outside the door.

Soni says "Woah, woah, woah, YOU have POWERS!?"

He replies "Apparently." And starts walking, Soni catches up to him.

She says "How long have you known?"

He replies "Eh about five weeks? Ish"

she says "And you didn't think to tell me?"

He replies "First of all we were still fighting at the time, plus I wanted to make sure it was real, I thought maybe I was dreaming. But it doesn't matter now." He paused for a while and says "Soni, Why'd you save me?"

She replies "What do you mean?"

He says "When we met why'd you save me?"

She says "You needed saving that's why, I wasn't just gonna let you die."

He continues "If it was someone, anyone else would you still of saved them?"

She replies "Yes, no doubt about it, they're living beings just like me and you, there for they're just as important as you are, if they have a mind, soul, and spirit then there for they're worry of saving just as much as me. Ace look at me, what's going on?"

He replies "Just curious I guess."

She says with a smile "Feel free to ask me anything anytime"

Ace says "Anything?"

She replies "Yes anything."

Ace says with a smile "Okay, let's see. What color was my shirt I wore when we met?"

She replies "Hmm black?"

He says "Lucky guess."

She replies "Yeah cause that's all you wear is black" she laughs.

He says "Grey, and grey, don't forget grey."

She says "You mean you have what one pair of grey pants"

He replies "No more like five" they laugh.

She says "Mhm. Alright my turn"

They continue walking forgetting all about where or what they were doing. It's starts to get dark.

Ace says "We need to find someone to sleep for the night" as he said this they started remembering the ship.

She replies "The ship, we have a ship."

He says "Soni what's the last thing you remember?"

She replies "Us talking about when we met. Wait I'm starting to remember a name, does Eden sound familiar?"

He replies "No I don-WAIT that's my Mother we were here to find my Mother, OMG I remember now. I think we're lost, our ship is the other way."

She replies "Omg I remember, Eve she was psycho. Yep you're right we're lost."

Suddenly a heavy dark fog flows in and Ace and Soni get closer together, she grabs his hand. They start hearing weird sounds, grawling, twigs breaking, running, walking, scratches, and screeching. Then suddenly Akáthartos pounces on Ace, Soni screams in fear and worry, Akáthartos starts eating his shoulder, and arm, then she goes for the stomach, Ace manages to push her off before too much damage, he grabs Soni's hand and they start running, she lights up her hand and it glows enough so they could see and they us it for a light, blood all over them, a small beast bites Aces ankle he kicks it off and they finally find the ship, Soni helps Ace inside the ship, she dresses his wounds as much as she could at the moment. When they land she opens the door and helps him walk inside their apartment, when they walk in they see, Sunny and Korey sitting on the couch watching TV, they both quicklystand up

Sunny says "Omgosh what happened to you guys!?"
