Chapter 5. Joy and Sadness

Korey says "Yeah, are you guys okay?"

Soni replies "We will be."

Ace says "Just a gang again."

Korey says as she points to his bite wounds "Did they have dogs?"

Soni walks in their bedroom and says as she about to close the door "We're fine" she shuts the door.

Soni helps Ace on the bed and makes him sit down, she takes off his shirt, cleans all his wounds and badges them up.

When she was finished he pulls her close and puts her on his lap, and says "Should we tell them what really happened?"

She replies "Eh we don't have to tell them anything. If you really want to tell them then you can but, I'm just not ready"

He says "We'll tell them when we're both ready."

Suddenly someone knocks on their bedroom door, Soni gets up and Ace after her, she opens the door, they see Korey, Sunny in the background.

Korey says with a smile "We bought some pizza if you and Ace wanna come join us. Unless you guys have already eaten of course."

Soni replies "Sure we'll be right out in a few."

She shuts the door, and says as she sighs "We need an apartment to ourselves. Tomorrow we're getting jobs, Shawn probably wants to move back in anyways."

He says as he puts a black clean shirt on, "Yes, we do. We already need a vacation."

She says "Yes. You ready" as she's about to open the door, not realizing her shirt and pants were bloody.

He replied "Yes, but uh you aren't." He points at the blood.

She says "Oh right." She takes off her shirt and gets a clean white shirt and puts it on, takes off her jeans and puts her clean yellow shorts on.

She says "Better?"

He says "Much better."

She smiles

Soni opens the door, holding Aces hand, they walk out. They sit on the couch with them and eat pizza.

Korey asks "So you guys going to tell us what happened or what?"

Sunny says as he puts his arm around Korey, "Yeah, start from the beginning."

Ace says "Well there's not much to talk about really."

Sunny says "You came home limping, bloody, shoulder shredded up and not to mention Ace your eyes were black like darker then normal."

Korey says "Yeah, what was that about?"

Soni and Ace look at each other, and they look back at them and she says "Okay so are you sure you want to know?"

They both nod and say "Yes." At the same time.

She sighs and continues "So it wasn't a gang, where to begin, alright so a few weeks ago or so we found out that Aces Mother was or is like us Olympaian but his Father is Human. Anyways we found one of her friends here and thought that maybe she could help us, her name was Eve, I tracked Eve down, she lives in a dark forest when we arrived there we were walking and out of no where this tree starts moving and crap then suddenly it picks us up, but once Ace said "What is that thing" he politely told us his name which his name was Lord Alador Yaztromo, it was the weirdest yet coolst thing I've ever seen, everything could talk like that had a mind of their own, only we soon found out that sense Eve's powers are nature she made them talk but she still controlled them even Lord Alador, anyways Alador sent one of his trusted ones to guide us which she was a beautiful white panther but crazy anyways, once we got there she told us basically nothing, and then tried to kill us be we were trespassing and also because she actually hates Aces Mother for some reason, then once Ace used his powers he didn't know he had, to vanish then once we were outside the door we forgot everything, I thought it had to be some sort of gas Eve was creating, but anyways it made us just walk and talk until dark, then we started to remember, then like this heavy black fog rolled in and we heard weird creepy noises then Akáthartos the panther attacked Ace and almost killed him then we ran for it and when we got to the ship another small beast thing bite his leg. And that's it."

Sunny says "Wow. How'd the tree talk? Like did it have a mouth? Or eyes?"

Soni replies "Nope, nothing. No idea where it came from or how he talked besides from Eve."

Ace grabs Soni's hand and says "Well I think I'm going to call it a night. Soni you coming?"

Soni replies "Alright I'll be right there."

As he gets up and let's go of her, then goes into their room.

Korey says "How are you and Ace going btw?"

She replies "Really well. We're tryna take it slow, you know how it is. Well I think I'ma go to sleep too. Cya. Goodnight."

Sunny says "Goodnight." Korey says "Goodnight"

She gets in a shuts the door as Ace takes off his shirt and gets ready for bed, she looks sad, and sits on the corner of their bed away from Ace.

Ace says "Sunny creeps me out a little, he's always smiling ew it's just creepy." He notices she's upset and not responding.

He continues "Soni? You alright?"

She replies as a tear falls "I just need some air." And walks out of the room slams the door and walks out the front door rather fast. She walks into the woods, and sits on a rock. She cries for a moment and talks out loud to her family "I miss you so much Dad, and Mom. I miss my Dad always trying to make sure I was happy, always trying to get me a boyfriend, I miss my Mom's sarcasm, most of all her smile, I miss Damian, I miss him so much it's my fault he died I should of saved him or something" Ace follows her and listens. She continues "I miss Jack, the old Jack" she cries hard and covers her face with her hands, Ace walks over to her and sits by her and hugs her tightly saying "Shhh, none of this is your fault we'll get through this together." He wipes her tears, she slowly stops crying. He says "Let's go inside you need rest." They go back home and go to sleep.

They sleep for awhile, and Soni wakes up around 4am gets up and dressed in her black leather pants, her black leather jacket and her black mask. Quietly walks out of the house and flies off.

She flies into town, she sees the guys who beat Ace up, beating up a skinny guy. She runs over to them using super speed, she says "Enough!"

The buff one says "Oh look boys another idiot trying to save the day, how cute." They laugh, she walks towards them, she grabs the buff one by the throat and says "This is for all the poor innocent people you've hurt" she throws him and hits the wall, knocked out almost dead, then she punches the other in the gut then punches him in the chin making him go flying also, then the other she breaks his arm and knocks him out by hitting him in the head. Still angry she flies up towards the sky and levels up, she bursts with energy, she finds Jack, again. Flies down to him, she sees Jack, grabs him and lifts him in the air and says "This is for all the innocent that you have killed. Now it's your turn to die. Now please beg for mercy because it's always better when they beg just makes it more hm fun."

Jack says "Wh-who a-are you?"

She replies "Just someone who you used to know, who you ruined."

Ace wakes up and sees that Soni isn't in bed anymore. So he gets up looks at the clock and it says 6am. He gets dressed in his black long sleeve shirt and black pants and his boots. He gets in the ship and looks for her. First he decides to check the ship and see if it can navigate where Soni is. He finds what he thinks is Soni and goes there. Once he's there he looks around and sees Soni in the air with Jack in her hands. He gets out of the ship and yells "Soni no!"

She sees him and says "Ace leave me alone! This is what has to happen! He just gets away clean from all the crap he's done, all the lives he's ended for what?! And then never to be punished for his crimes! This isn't justice! If I have to do it myself so be it!!" She draws her sword.

Ace yells yet again "No! This isn't you! Soni listen to me, I know you hate him for what he's done and you miss your brother your real brother, but Soni please this isn't the way this isn't the path you want go down. Damian would say the same."

She drops him and flies off.

He yells "Wait!" He flies after her, not knowing he could fly looks down and realizes he's flying.

Soni flies to a mountain and sits on the top.

Ace flies to her, and sits beside her, he says "Soni look at me." She looks at him. He continues "I love you Soni but you're not yourself lately ever since.... Everything that happened... It's just I don't know you very well anymore. You don't talk to me. You just throw your anger out on me and everyone else. I know you miss them and I know you hate that Jack is like this and you hate Hera for doing that to Jack. My point is I know what's going on but just make sure you don't take it too far, you almost killed your own brother. Just think of Damian what he would do. What he would tell you to do, what he taught you. Don't forget who you really are. You are kind, you are gentle, you are funny, you are loving, you're always optimistic no matter what's going on, you always love people, you are you and I love that just don't forget what makes you, you." He hugs her, and kisses her on the forehead, and flies off.

She sits there, repeating what Ace said, starts to cry a little. She stops and says "No! I will be strong. I will fight for people who can't fight for themselves." She looks at the town, she flies down to it and walks on the sidewalk. She looks around every building every person and she decides she will fight for this town. She flies home. Quietly walks inside and walks into her bedroom. Sees Ace sitting there waiting for her. She walks over to him. He stands up, she hugs him tightly. She whispers "Thank you" and kisses him. She feels his face gently.

Ace says "Come here you" with a smile. Picks her up gently and puts her on the bed, she giggles.

Ace wakes up around 8am and fix breakfast for him and Soni. Soni starts screaming in her sleep, Ace hears her and runs in saying "Soni?" He sees her asleep, having a nightmare.

He says "Soni, baby wake up, it's just a nightmare."

She wakes up slowly. She says "Hmm? Where's Bruce? Ace what's going on?"

He says "Uh you were screaming in your sleep, Bruce slept with Echo and Lares, I'll see if they're awake if you want?"

She says "No, no, it's okay. Sorry, sorry."

He says "You sure you're alright? Do you want to talk about it?"

She gets up, and puts a shirt on and says "I'm okay." With a smile.

She walks in the kitchen and smells the food and says "Mmm. But I think they're burning." She giggles, he says as he runs in "The eggs!"

He makes none burnt eggs and bacon for her and for himself.

After they eat, Echo walks into the Living room, Soni says "Good morning Echo, is Bruce up?"

Echo says "Good morning! Someone's happy this morning, goodnight last night?" Soni says "You can say that."

Echo says "I'll go get Bruce." She let's Bruce out and Bruce runs and jumps on Soni, licking her she says as shes laughing "Ahaha Bruce down boy ahaha" they laugh. Echo says to Soni "I'm going on a GIRLS day and NIGHT out today with Korey, and a few of our friends, wanna come? We're leaving in a few."

She says "Yes, that sounds really fun. I've been wanting some girl time."

Ace says "Awe but I'll be bored here all alone." They giggle.

She says as she hugs him "Bruce will be here. Sunny and Lares will be here too so you won't be bored heck you guys could have a guys night out."

He replies "Oh fun" sarcastically

She says "Stop it you, you'll have fun." She kisses him, let's go, and goes into the bedroom starts getting ready.

Ace comes in and sits on the bed while she changes.

She puts on a white lacey crop top, and her yellow, Jeans shorts and says "How's this?"

He says "Beautiful"

She giggles "Good because I'm wearing it."

He says "Texts !e if you want to leave or if anyone bothers you"

She says "I will"

She walks out the bedroom and says "Ready?"

Echo says "Yes. You look good."

Korey's friend Donna arrives at the apartment and so does Echos friend Sam, they all wave goodbye, and get in the car Soni says, "Wait, I forgot something. I'll be right out. Don't leave me!"

She runs inside and packs a little backpack with her leather pants, her leather jacket and black shirt, and mask. Ace comes in doesn't see the clothes in the bag but says "They're honking."

She replies "I'm almost ready." She pauses "Alright I'm ready, bye I love you. Have fun!" She runs out and gets in the car.

In the car they turn on Billie Eillish and Adele, and jam out, having fun.

Meanwhile Ace, Lares and Sunny are at the apartment. As soon as they left Sunny was still in his room while Lares sits on the couch and Ace is in the Kitchen, Lares stares Ace down rather creepy like, in silence.

Ace says "Soo-"

Lares interrupts "Why are you talking to me?"

Ace replies "You uh were uh well, um no reason just continue staring creepily into nothingness." He keeps staring at nothing.

Sunny walks in says "Ayyyy you guys wanna watch something, drink a beer, eat junk food while our girls are out? Okay cool, I'll order pizzas."

Ace sighs and says "I'mma call Shawn see if he'd join us." He picks up his phone, texts Soni and says "Omg Lares freaks me out so much, as soon as you left he just stared at me for like 30 mins straight. Also I miss you so much this is SOOO BORING, I'm calling Shawn." She replies with laughing faces and says "Bahaha Lares is creepy but perfect for Echo, I miss you too, we're having so much fun. I've bought so many pairs of fighting clothes. That's a good idea Shawn may help. Have fun!"

He calls Shawn,

He answers "Hello?"

Ace says "Hey man. You busy?"

He says "Yeah, I was just getting a Coffee btw want me to get you one?"

Ace says "Sure! Get me the usual if you still remember. You wanna come over here? I'm really bored Soni and the other girls are out having a girl night out" he whispers "one of them really creeps me out"

Shawn laughs and says "Yeah, sure. Be there in a few." He hangs up.

Ace sighs, sits there on his phone until Shawn gets there.

Meanwhile at the Mall, Soni is I this costume shop. She sees this yellow and white suit, with a diamond symbol, she looks at the price tag.

She says "Only $20 not too bad, I wonder if I can get it customized." She leaves it and continues shopping with the girls, she finds this black mask.

She says "Wow, super cheap. It's a keeper." She buys it, continues shopping.

Korey says to Soni "I heard you and Ace may be moving out soon and getting your own apartment."

She replies "Yes, we talked about it."

Korey replies "Hmm, well we'll miss you guys around the apartment NEVER forget to visit. You're welcome anytime!"

About an hour later.

Soni asks Echo "Do you think Damian would of been happy for me? I wish he were here." 

Echo replies "Yes! He'd be very happy for you. I promise. I wish he were here too but we have to move on, we have to enjoy life while we can." Echo hugs her.

Soni says "You're right. Thank you!"

Meanwhile at the apartment.

Shawn arrives, Ace goes out to met him, he hugs him, and takes his Coffee saying "Thanks man! I was getting seriously bored." He takes a sip and says "Mmm. Double Expresso mm creamy."

Shawn says "Never forgot you bro. And you're welcome."

They walk inside, Shawn gets a slice of pizza and they both sit down and watch TV.

Hours pass for both of them.

Soni walks in the apartment, putting all her stuff down as she sighs, she looks at the time "10:55pm hmm, better be quiet Ace is probably asleep." She whispers to herself. She quietly opens her bedroom door notices the lights on. Ace sits there on the bed with the TV on. Ace has his hands over his face.

She says "Hey ba-are you okay?" Walks over to him and sits beside him.

He looks up and says "Oh hey. Family problems but I'll be okay. How was your day with Echo and them?"

She replies "Was it your Dad again?"

He says "Ye-yeah. He makes me so angry, today he called me and asked me why I didn't tell him I was back when I did then asks why I was looking for Mom, why does he have to do this to me, to us, oh-I-I can't take it anymore. I-I-I need some air."

He walks out, and then outside, and flies off. He sits on top of a building.

Meanwhile Echo joins Soni on the couch.

Echo says "Want to to talk about it?"

She sighs "Ace's Mother left him and his Father when he was young, he blames his Father for it, which now he blames him for everything, not that he doesn't deserve that or that he's wrong but I want him to be happy. Obviously he isn't happy like this. I don't know what to do anymore, I-I think I need to get away for a little while and so does Ace, we both need our space." She says

Echo replies "Are you sure? I mean he might take it as you breaking up with him or that it was or is his fault, what I'm trying to say is be careful how you tell him, because this could end badly for you both and I don't think either of you want that." She gets up, pats her back and goes to her room.

She continues to think as she gets up, turns off the TV, and goes into their room. She walks in and shuts the door, changes into shorts and a t-shirt, sits on the bed, waits for him to get back.

As Ace sat there he thought "This is all his fault! I'm so sick of waiting I don't care anymore I'm going to find her even if I have to do it without Soni!" He quickly stands up and flies off. Finds the dark forest yet again.

Bursts inside while saying "Eve! Where is my Mother!? I know you, you know where she is! Tell me before I beat it out of you!"

She replies "Oh Ace my dear you're back. Finally, I've been waiting for you. Sweetie calm down you don't want me to send Akáthartos after you again" she pauses "that's what I thought. Now Ace my love, your Mother is hmm how should I put it softly she was taken into slavery by me" she smiles. She snaps her fingers and a serpent drags her in, tied up, bloody and beaten, it drops her in front of Eves feet. Eve waves him away.

She says "Ace darling be a dear and not freak out, how about this, I'll let her go but ONLY IF you do me a favor first."

Ace replies swiftly "Deal! What do I have to do?"

She says "Well, there's this guy who I want you to kill, he's my ex and I want him dead."

He replies "An ex? Really? Couldn't you just do it yourself?"

Eve says "No, he's kinda hard to kill. His Father is Hades."

He replies "Hades!? The Hades!?"

She says "Yes, the Hades. He's super strong but you should be able to kill him. If I don't have his head in 5 hours she's mine forever I may even kill her."

Ace's eyes smoke black, he says "Fine! Where can I find him?"

She replies "In New York I'll send you the details."

He nods, looks at his Mother, walks out and shuts the door.

Meanwhile Soni wakes up at 7am looks at her phone, sees that Ace is still gone. She gets up, and dressed, walks into the kitchen. Eats cereal.

Ace walks into the apartment rushes into their bedroom passing Soni.

She says as she gets up "Ace? Where have you been? What's going on?"

He starts packing and says "Nothing, just will have to be gone for a few days, I'll text you when I'm on my way back, I promise."

She replies "I'm going with you!"

He says No! You can't! Stay here! Where it's safe. I'll be back soon. I love you." He kisses her and grabs his bag and leaves in the ship.

He puts on his black ninja suit and his mask, he gets his swords.

Soni says to Ace "There's someone I want you to meet"

Danas walks in wearing a black and white suit, black hair with a white strip, smiling and says "Hey Ace a pleasure to meet you, finally. Heard a lot about you."

Ace replies "Hello nice to meet you too. Heard a lot about your old gang"

Danas says "Haha yeah, the good old days."

He snaps out of his flash back.

"Danas, I'm killing Danas" he says to himself as he sighs.

Meanwhile Danas appears in front of Soni.

Soni says with a smile "Danas!?"

He smiles and replies "Miss me?"

Soni says "Yes!" Hugs him and laughs. She says "It's been so long, why are you here?"

Danas gets serious and says "Yeah, Hades wants you."

She replies "Really? Why?"

Danas says "You'll see."

Danas grabs her hand and they vanish and appear in a desert, then Hades appears beside them.

Hades says to Soni "Hello beautiful Sonia it's been a while my dear." He smiles

Soni smiles and says "Yes it has!"

Hades says "Now I want you to-"

She replies "I don't do that anymore."

Hades says "That's the thing you don't have a choice, Ace and his Mother will die if you don't, all I have to do is push a button and Eve will kill them. Keep that in mind."

She gets angry and her eyes darken and she replies "Fine! What do you want me to do?"

Hades says "I want you to kill Romias, he killed my men, stole weapons etc"

Soni replies "But-Deal!"

She sighs, and vanishes.

Hades says to Danas "You'll have to go with her."

He replies "Yes Father." He vanishes.

They appear back at Danas apartment.

Ace finally arrives there.

He gets out, eyes still black and smoking. Danas comes out of the shadows.

"Hey Ace been awhile man. What are you doing here?" Danas says with a smile.

"Danas, it really has. I wish I was here to catch up *sighs* I'm sorry man, I really am."Ace says.

Danas replies "What you mean? Sorry for what? Surely it isn't bad enough where I couldn't forgives you."

Ace replies "I'm sorry, but you wouldn't. I'm sorry"

Ace pulls out his swords, Danas gets out his guns.

Danas says "Come on, you don't have to do this!"

Ace replies "Yes I do! I have no choice! They'll kill her!"

Danas thinking he was talking about Soni feels sympathy for him.

Ace cuts his arm, Danas punches him knocking him to the ground, he shoots Ace in the leg, Ace yells a little in pain, but gets up, knocks Danas guns out of this hands, and drops his swords, he jumps on him landing his elbow on his face, he grabs his sword, he stabs him in the stomach.

Danas coughs up blood and says "Do it!"

Danas gets ready to die, Ace stabs him in the chest killing him. Ace sighs, and feels sorry.

Soni walks out of Danas apartment, sees him dead, she gasps, and runs to him.

She yells "No! Danas! Ace what have you done?"

He replies "I had to! You don't understand!"

She yells "No you didn't! Why'd you do it!? Jealousy!?"

He replies "No! Of course not, I trust you! They'd kill my Mother if I didn't."

She calms down and sighs "I'm sorry it's just, *sighs* it's a lot to take in. I-I have to go now, the mission Danas gave me isn't finished. Stay safe!" She says, then vanishes.

Ace sighs "I wish there was another way" he says. He vanishes.

Ace appears in front of Eve with Danas head, he puts it on the table.

Ace says "A deal is a deal! Now give me my Mother!"

Eve replies "Awe you want your Mommy back, too bad." She laughs creepily, and makes vines holding Ace down.

He struggles to get free and says "Let me go! You liar! If you hurt her in anyway I'll kill you! I promise you!"

She laughs "Awe, don't give me your word that you know you can't keep, because you'll be dead. It's a shame a looker like you has to die, but don't worry I'll enjoy every minute of it." She says with a smile on her face.

Meanwhile

Soni appears at Romia's, she opens his door.

"Romias you home? It's me Soni." She says

Romias yells "Soni!? Is it really you!?" As he walks in the room she's in

She replies "Yes it is Romias."

He hugs her and says "Omg it's been so long! What brings you here?"

A tear falls down her face and she says "I'm sorry Romias, I wish I was here to talk. They have my Boyfriend and Hades will kill him if I don't do this. I'm sorry I really am."

He replies "I understand. I knew this was coming eventually, all the things I did too him over the years, thought he kill me sooner."

She says "I'm sorry it has to be this way. Wish the old gang could come together again one last time but it's too late Danas is already dead."

He replies "As do I. Good luck dear friend."

She pulls out her sword, he pulls out his. Almost in tears she swings at him, he dodges and stabs her In the leg, she screams a little but shakes it off. She stabs him in the chest yelling "I'm sorry" while she cries.

He coughs up blood and says "It-its al-alright" coughs up more blood then he dies.

She cries hard and takes a picture. She vanishes

She appears in front of Hades she says "Please, I did what you wanted now let them go!"

He replies "Good work my child. Now it won't be that simple your boyfriend killed my Son."

She says "But I thought you told Eve you wanted him dead, it was her she made him kill Danas."

Hades gets inragged "She was just supposed to trap them and wait till I have the order! Stupid woman!" He says

She replies "Does this mean you'll let him go?"

He says angrily "Fine! Have your human! I'll deal with that traider!" He vanishes

She does also.

They both appear in front of Ace and Eve.

Sonia runs to Ace hugs him and starts to free him.

Eve says "Hades? What are you doing here? What happened to the plan?"

Hades replies "Plan!? You thought you could just kill my Son and get away with it!?"

She replies in fear "Wh-what-what are you talking about?"

He says "You know what I'm talking about! Time to end this." He pulls out his swords.

She says "No stop! I'm sorry! Please don't kill me!"

He grabs her and vanishes.

Soni manages to get Ace free, she lays him on the ground as he's passed out.

Soni says "Please wake up! Ace!"

He slowly wakes up "Hmm, ugh my head"

She hugs him "Don't ever do that again!"

She let's go and he gets up.

"Mom?" He says.

He sees her and runs to her, hugs her. Her passed out still, he picks her up and carries her.

Ace says to Soni "Meet me outside."

Soni nods, he vanishes. She stays behind.

Hades yells at Eve "What happened to loyalty!?"

Eve says "You'd really think I'd give you that after what you've done!? After you made me kill your own son!"

"I didn't make you do anything! That was your choice and your order! Don't deny it!" Hades says

Eve replies "And you killed my Son, now you know how it feels!"

Hades yells "AH" "Don't be an idiot woman!" as he levels up, he bursts into flames and pulls out his swords, his eyes turn black. She begins backing up.

Sonia knows what's happening and teleports over to them and says "Enough!"

Hades says "Really? Haha, Soni come on. She made your boyfriend kill your best friend, just for revenge! Can't you see it Soni? She deserves to die!"

She replies "You're right she does deserve it, go ahead no one's stopping you. Not like anyone listens anyway!"

She backs away and walks away.

She appears in front of Ace

Ace says "What took so long? We gotta go she's hurt!"

She nods and vanishes both of them, takes them inside.

Eve uses vines to protect her from him. He cuts every last one as she makes them.

Hades says "Give up!"

She gives up and says "Alright you win, you win!"

He smiles, he swings at her with his blade on fire, he stabs her in the heart.

Meanwhile Ace puts his mother on the bed, let's her rest.

Sonia says "How long will she be here?"

Ace replies "As long as she needs, highly doubt Fred will even give a crap, plus I don't want to see his face anyways."

She nods and walks outside. She starts walking down the road thinking. "Everyone will pay, everyone will feel what I feel. I can't be with Ace anymore, not now, maybe not ever." She walks farther still thinking.

Ace sits by his Mother's side, she suddenly starts to open her eyes slowly as she sees his face she says "Ace? Is it you?"

He holds her hand and says "Yes Mom it's me. I have so many questions."

She sighs and replies "I know you do Son, my one chance of being your Mother is gone and it's my fault, I own that. You don't have to forgive me"

He says "You're my Mother, of course I'd forgive you, Fred never did. Why'd you me, with him?"

She replies "Your Father was protecting you, he thought you were too young to know. You're Olympaian, I am, Freddy is human of course. I had to leave because if I didn't, if they knew you exist they'd kill you and our family. Humans and Olympaians have fought and hated each other for so long it's against the law to marry Humans but who could blame us. We should never of fought in the first place."

He replies "Why didn't he tell me? I was fine, I could of handled it."

She smiles and says "I know you could of, you've always been strong but he didn't want to lose you too. He loves you, you're his Son."

He sighs "Well it was pointless he lost me as soon as he picked that bottle up. Enough of that its not important anymore, Mom there's someone I want you to meet." He smiles

She replies "Aww did you find yourself a girl?"

Echo gets Soni she says "Soni Ace wants to tell you something" she sighs and walk inside.

She walks in the room, she sees Eden.

Eden says "Oh she's beautiful! Where's the Grandbabies?"

Ace says "Uh hehe yeah, we're not quite ready for that yet. Right baby?"

She says "Yep. Great to meet you. Ace can we talk?"

He replies "Sure! Mom I'll be right back"

He walks out and they go outside, he says "What is it?"

Soni says as she sighs "I can't stay here, with you, with them."

He replies "Wha-what do you mean? What's wrong?"

She says "I'm sorry but I have to leave. And idk if I'll ever be back. And I can't I can't do this relationship anymore it's not right, for you or me. I just need some time" she vanishes.

He sits on the step in shock, he thinks "Did I do something wrong?"

Sonia packs all her things and leaves.

Echo walks out and sees him sitting there, almost crying.

She asks "What happened? Where'd she go?"

He replies angrily "She left me! No goodbye barely a sorry just poof gone! I knew it was too good to be true."

Echo says "She must of had a good reason. She'll come back."

He stands up and flies off.

Ace looks at pictures of him and Sonia he thinks out loud "What happened to you? What happened to us?" He sits there and covers his face, a few tears start falling, he stands up dries his eyes and flies back home. He walks in angry, he slams the door.

Ace walks into his room and sits on the bed

He takes off his shirt and pants, lays down on the bed, looks at the ceiling for a few minutes, looks over to where she slept, slowly falls asleep.

Sonia gets a Cab in , gets in, puts her things in.

A older male Cab driver, with a grey golf hat on.

Cab driver says to Soni when she gets in and settled. "Going on Vacation miss?" With a smile.

She replies "You can say that. New city, new me, as they say."

He nods with a smile.

She arrives at a costume shop, as she looks at new outfits to fight in, she finds one that's black leather pants, leather boots, a black long sleeves shirt, and a black leather jacket. She picks it up and walks over to the desk

She asks the rather gothic, looking white girl at the the register "Do you have any black masks of any kind?"

She replies "Yes, here" she lays them out on the desk "They're $10 a piece"

Soni looks at them, one's a black and grey mask that looks like a pieces of cloth, another one that she thought looks like what you'd wear to clean in, but black there were at least twenty, "so many" she thought. She finally sees one that was perfect, it was a black leather mask that covered the mouth and the left eye.

She says "This one"

The woman moves the others to the side and rings them up. She grabs it and leaves
