"Your size or weight doesn't define you, and my feelings for you isn't based on your physical appearance." Emil lovely said while roaming his hand through her soft hair.

Yvonne's heart warmed at his words. She wondered what great thing she did in her past life for her to have met someone so unique as Emil.

" Don't tell me you believe in the saying " Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder"" Yvonne lifted her head that was resting on his shoulder and gaze at him in the eye, she opened her mouth and voiced out " People don't believe in that anymore"

Emil's eyes darkened but it only lasted for couple of seconds and reverted back to its original softness.

" Am different from those people. So Precious ...." he cupped both her cheeks in his two palms " Never compare me to anyone, okay?"

Yvonne realising how close they were, felt shy. She nodded when she saw his awaiting eyes.

But in all honesty, she didn't hear any word he said, all she saw was his lips opening and closing. She gazed shyly at his eyes as her heart pounded loudly in her chest.

"Good girl" Emil smiled and sat up right, he then pulled her closer to him so her head rested on his chest.

"Would you miss me when I go to the university ?" Yvonne played with his fingers

" Do you need to ask? Isn't it obvious that I already miss you,even thou you are here ?"

" I still want to hear you say it" Yvonne stubbornly insisted while pouting her lips

Emil chuckled and decided to tease her a little,

" I won't have time to miss you, what's the point anyway !"

" You ...you...you " Yvonne was speechless, she didn't even know how to rebut.

She angrily pressed on his finger making him groan in pain

" It serves you right !" She muttered under her breath but Emil didn't miss any word she said

He suppress himself from laughing out loud, 'So cute when angry !'

" I meant to say that...' he raised her chin so she was looking at him, "There's no need for me to miss you because you are and will always be with me. Because you are in here" Emil pointed to the area of his heart

"So my Precious, don't be mad at me okay?"

"Mmm" Yvonne nodes brightening up instantly. She curled her lips slightly

" That's more like my Precious !" Emil patted her head.

Outside the window, the city was filled with lights but was also slightly dark. The people inside the room didn't care about the darkness outside, they just stayed in the same position conversing for the entire night.

Another couple in the bamboo forest were sitting on the grass floor, each was occupied with their own thoughts. Both will from time to time peek at the other.

" There's a reason why I brought you here, do you want to know?" Daniel looked at the side profile of Lina as he spoke

" What ....reason ?" Lina's voice lowered when she turned and saw Daniel looking at her. She swiftly turned back her head

"First is,I wanted to bring you here. And the other reason is ....there's something I need to tell you" Daniel's gaze was still on her as he spoke.

" So ...what do you need to tell me" Lina inquired while avoiding any eye contact. She felt like she was sitting on pins. She clenched her fist as a way of covering up her nervousness.

" I...I ...I like you" Daniel confessed with much effort.

" What did you say?" Lina turned to look at him in the eye looking all shocked.

She had the face that said " Please repeat what you just said !"

Daniel lowered his gaze, he couldn't bring himself to look into her eyes like before. His heart beat out of nervousness.

" I like you ...when you're not talking !" he painstakingly said.

" Oh !" Lina lowered her head looking disappointed.

She was sure she had heard him say "I like you" ,but she didn't understand why he had to lie when she wanted a confirmation !

As she stared into the distance, disappointed and sadness could be seen in her eyes.

Daniel saw her look, and just like her being disappointed, he was in fact disappointed with his own self.

' How could he have let such an opportunity go by !'

"Morning is almost here, let's go ?"

" Yeah, let's go"

Lina was the first to stand up from the grass, she then extended her small hand to Daniel "Do you need help getting up?"

Daniel looked at her hand, then to her face and nodded .After, he held onto her hand and stood up, but before he could stand straight, Lina pounced on him surprising him with an unskilled kiss.

She. kissed. him. !

The kiss was very light. It didn't last for a minutes and she pulled back looking all bashful.

Daniel who had suddenly received his first kiss was stunned. He panicked when he felt the girl pull away. In his panicking, he pulled her back to his lips by placing a hand firmly on the back of her head.

Unlike her unskilled kiss, his was more passionate. He savored every bit of her mouth, both inside and out. His kiss was very dominating but sweet. The more they kissed, the more addicted they become. Neither wanted to part, although they were both breathless

They poured their all into the kiss. It was as if they wanted to merge their bodies together.

"I like you " Amidst the kiss, Daniel inaudibly mumbled.

"What?" Lina incoherently asked

Daniel deeply kissed her and broke the kiss " nothing" he smiled

It was okay this way, he didn't want to scare her with his confession.
