The Tribesmen

Kahilya.

We treaded on the forest, well not much of a forest anymore, I mean I know most of the landmass of Bhritonce is mostly The Forest but, the sight of a part of it being burnt down haunts me.

Yes... We decided to follow the two tribesmen, apparently known as Lexis and Kinith.

We walked on a lot of black ash, they made sure we walked slowly to sightsee all of the dead trees leaves and the worst of all, a burnt village.

"This part of our village have been burnt." One of the tribesmen spoke, the one named Kinith. "Pirates who refused to stay on the main island did this. They stay on the island we know as the, Lost One, but now notably known as pirate island."

"They did this." Gheisha was at a loss for words, I don't blame her.

We walk pass some burnt bodies, they were black all over, not recognizable. Their teeth managing to stay as the lightest part of their bodies.

My spine tingled a bit. I might vomit.

"What the fuck..." Adreks said. It's rare he swore because when he did Mahica would curse him, literally cursing him.

But now Mahica did not do it, I mean, it is reasonable.

"There he is." Kinith pointed to a big man, not with tattoos stretching through his arms. His hat of leaves stand proudly.

He looks back and waves slightly. "There you are." He smiled. Weirdly enough.

"Who are you?" Koppa asked. Carrying Thebus on her back. She groaned a bit.

"I am the Chieftain of the Northern Village. Caldia Arsensya." He looked at us. "The Seer told me that 8 people will come and they did, so you are the chosen ones."

We all gave him a puzzled look. He gave us a smile back.

"What do you mean 'chosen ones'?" I asked.

"Up to the North of here there are pirates, their ships lined across the shores." He completely ignored me. "Strong enough to handle the waves and stick their ground."

He stared deep into my eyes.

I felt my body shake, maybe we shouldn't have come after all.

"Ho-How can we even help? I mean look at the 3 of our team, They're unconscious." I argued.

"That is not a problem." He said confidently. "Rayla, my daughter. Come here." A beautiful girl with tan colored skin came out, her hair was out in braid out to the side, she was wearing a silky white dress, but she didn't seem to like wearing it. "My daughter knows the magic of healing. I mean, her mother was an elf."

"What!?" Mahica spoke up ubruptly. She moved forward. "You know magic!?"

"Yea-yeah." She spoke in a sweet soft voice. "I can do healing magic, not much offensive magic though."

"Can you teach me!?" Mahica's eyes shines brightly and the girl laughed, her laugh was also elegant, in fact most of her actions were elegant.

"They stole a lot of our weaponry, those you can use yourself." The Chief interrupted. "And of course." Staring at Mahica. "A book of elven magic."

Mahica practically shrieked, excited for any magic she might learn.

I laughed.

We set down the three bodies, Unconsciously sleeping.

Rayla first went to Gaslon, he touched his head then his chest and then whitish glowy thing shined on her arms and before we knew it, Gaslon opened his eyes and stood up. He didn't speak.

He didn't give anything except for a smile. Then he sat down.

Up next was Lagorvo.

"I'll do anything I can to help." Gheisha sat next to his body.

"Just hold him still." Rayla spoke wonderfully again.

In no time Lagorvo woke up in Gheisha's arms. "Gh-gheisha." He spoke, then coughed.

Next up was the most broken one, Thebus Alazar.

Rayla looked a bit worried.

"Can you heal him?" I ask worried as well.

"I'll try." She touched his chest and then his arm. I winced as his arm started twisting in the right direction faster than Mahica ever could have done. It looked painful. It felt painful.

He didn't wake up, but he was still alive.

Rayla sighed. "There nothing we could do for this one." She looked at me. "He has to rest for a bit."

I looked down and nodded.

"Who said so?" We all turned around to see a completely fine Thebus Alazar, no pain in his eyes nor a scratch on his skin.

Rayla looked surprised, The most actually. "B-but you haven't fully healed, you were supposed to be unconscious for a while before you wake up!"

Thebus stared at all of us, he smirked. "I am just different."

Gaslon.

I really believed in miracles nor do I believe in prophecies.

But that all changed when I met Thebus Alazar. He seemed different as a child and he was Different.

He was after all, a demigod.

His mother married Feodor also known as Kjiell, The God of life and prosperity. He was also a God of wisdom and agility.

Oh have I not explained this before, well.

Gods are not really Gods.

They are sorcerers who mastered the arts of what thought impossible by the masses.

Those sorcerers achieved something so great that they were considered gods and became omnipotent, unkillable and most of all, immortal.

Until now they are worshipped, believed in. Because after all, they were real.

Kjiell, the God of life and prosperity.

Anarkus, the God of death and anarchy.

Iplier, God of Animals and Dragons.

Septic, God of mischief and fun.

Dapie, God of secrets and choices and the mind.

Lotus, goddess of love and hate.

Shien, god of light and darkness.

Mediven, god of fire and the seas, god of earth and the winds.

Alius, god of creativity and games.

Yes. That's all of the Sorcerers also known as The Royalty.

The Chieftain led us to the the end of the forest leading into the beach that extended for miles.

There we quickly saw a dozen ships all lined up.

"Well, here we are." The Chieftain spoke. "Now....let's begin shall we."

We started walking towards the boat when a flying cannon ball landed in front of me, marking itself if the sand.

"Well then, that's dangerous." I spoke.

"Duh!" Adreks retorted back.

The Chieftain walked forward. "Stop your constant Arsons." He yelled towards the pirates. "And we will make sure none of you will get killed, return to your island and we will mind our own businesses."

"Fuck him up!" A pirated yelled.

A volley of cannonball fired right in front of us and towards the Chieftains face.
