As the group walks into the yard of the creepy old house, the wind blew as hard as it had all month. The old house swayed to the point where it had almost collapsed. Ann voiced her concerns.
"Josh, is this safe?" she asks her brother.
"Of course it is! Would I take you into an unstable building?" he responds. Ann shrugs.
The group finally reached the door. Ann was shaking all over. She had an awful feeling about the place.
"Okay, we saw the place. Can we go home now?" she asks, weary. Josh could see that his little sister was scared of the old home.
"What's wrong? I thought you wanted to see the house." He says.
"We already saw it. Can we just go?" Ann was cold, tired, and scared. She just wanted to go home. Her brother, of course, did not.
"What, are you tired?" He asks, a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
"Yes. Very."
"Well, we're already here, sooo..." His voice trailed off. He was clearly trying to be nice to his sister, but he really wanted to see the house's interior.
" Fine. Let's get this over with," Ann says, reluctantly. She didn't want to go in, but wanted her brother to be happy. Little did she know, this would be her downfall.
