After the secretary left, Hwang Tae-Kyeong closed the door again.
With the corners of his lips lifted he went back to his own chair.
Ari realized that his whole aura changed when someone else was in his office.
Now that she thought about it, his whole aura was also different when he was with her back then.
Maybe to protect himself? If she sensed this aura of a boss of hundreds of people in her apartment she would've really thought he is some kind of gangster boss.
Ari looked at him. His charming eyes looked into her eyes, and she felt that her blush came back.
Damn!
She was no easy woman. Being in the prison she learned to endure pain and to gain strength but this man in front of her, when he held her she knew that she was no match to him.
After a deep breath she finally said.
"Can you please get me out of this `training for a bodyguard´ thing?"
He leaned back on his chair and continued to look at her.
After a minute of silence he said "No. I know your skills and I know that you can improve even more. You might not be a match to me but at least you can free yourself when someone else holds you like I did now."
"..." no one would hold her like this, seriously.
"I really don't want to do it! I don't need to keep it from you, you already saw my to-do list.
I need a stable job and more over a safe job for my son. If I want to look for him and get him back I can't have a job where I risk my life daily for you."
He raised an eyebrow.
"Who said that you need to risk your life for mine?"
Ari was confused.
"Isn't that exactly the job of a bodyguard?"
"I would never risk your life, don't worry. I will protect you."
Ari was speechless. That's not the way it should be.
