Meeting the 'Former' Strongest Person in the Kingdom

Returning back to his room, he finds Angela there sitting on the bed as she looks really anxious. Upon seeing him enter, she immediately called him while looking really nervous.

"Alex, where have you been?" Angela asked immediately when she saw him enter. She was extremely worried when she also felt that pressure from earlier. Without even thinking about it that much and not caring about her safety, she went towards Alex's room only to find him not inside.

Angela had no idea where would Alex go so she decided to wait for him. Who would have thought that Alex had actually gone out of his room without even the guards in each corner noticing it?

Hearing Angela's question, he can't possibly tell her that he had just gone out to test his strength right? So he decided to not tell her the truth.

"I just went outside to walk.." Finn said.

Angela was surprised to hear the reason why he went outside.

'Going out to walk at this time where there is an unknown master lurking in the shadows. Is this bravery or stupidity?' that would be the thought of others as Angela would never think of those kinds of thoughts.

She only has pure concern towards Alex and nothing more.

"It's good that you're okay. But you have to stay inside your room for the time being." Angela said. She had failed to realize that she is actually talking to Alex, whom she knows that can't be talked to.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine," Finn said with a smile. He was actually starting to enjoy the care and love he is receiving from this pure girl.

Angela nodded. She then stood up, "I'm going to get your dinner, wait for me here, okay?"

Finn looked outside and was surprised to see that it was already dark outside. He had completely failed to notice it. So he can just nod at Angela while he was not worried about her safety as he can sense if she's in danger or not.

"Then I'll also trouble you to please call Master Lampard to my room," Finn said.

"Un." Angela nodded as she then left the room.

Master Lampard is the strongest warrior in the kingdom. He is also known as the most loyal subordinate and friend of the old King. It was also because of him that Alexander was able to stay alive until now. If there was someone whom he could trust in this world, then it would definitely be Lampard.

Though he would not tell him everything he had, he'll just tell Lampard that he is Moon Class Elite and that would be all enough for him to gain a loyal subordinate under him.

"I need to start formulating a plan to clean the rats in the kingdom," Finn said.

Although he had never been the top of his class in his previous life, by playing the [World of Magea], Finn has experienced in running a kingdom so he is not new to this kind of stuff.

And he also knew that the most important factor of all, staying low-key and striking at the right opportunity, he will show what this phrase really means.

After leaving the room, Angela was happily walking towards the kitchen where they prepare the food for the king. Whoever she meets along the way, they would respectfully greet her as "Your Highness!" or "Our Queen!".

Angela is a friendly girl and coupled with her caring and helpful attitude. She is like an angel in other people's eyes and they all felt that it was really a pity that such a pure girl will be married to a retard.

There are even some people who said that she doesn't deserve to be treated this way, but they can only keep that to their thoughts as the number one warrior in the kingdom, Lampard, will not tolerate anyone who would there to question the authority of the king.

Though there are some people who are not really afraid of him that much. There is even some time when Angela is almost harassed by an arrogant young master from a noble family in the kingdom. His ending was not good but that didn't stop others from still pursuing Angela.

One of the most brazen people who clearly shows his interest in her was Gill, the pig-like son of Head Minister of the kingdom, Bazzer. Though because of Lampard's existence, this Gill can't do anything too excessive aside from taking Alex around to waste money.

That's right! Gill can be considered as Alex's friend. If someone who schemes behind your back can be called as a friend, then Gill would be Alex's best friend.

As she was just a few meters away from the kitchen, Angela suddenly realized something.

"H-He…Alex talked to me normally." Although it was nothing strange if Alex was normal, the crux of the problem is that Alex is not normal and is known as a retard since birth.

"I.." Angela wanted to go back to see for herself once again but she stopped. She had clearly remembered that Alex wanted him to call Lampard, so without hesitation, she dashed towards Lampard's room.

A few moments later, Angela arrived in front of Lampard's room, she was breathing heavily as she ran so fast without taking any breaks. It was as if her life depended on it.

Without her needing to knock on the door, it slowly opened as it revealed a handsome, 6 foot 5 Caucasian man. With hair so red and vivid, it looked like a mane of burning fire.

"Angela, what are you doing here at this time? Is there something you need me for?" Lampard asked with a smile. Even though he doesn't really reveal much of his emotions to others, he dearly cares about this young lady in front of him and had even started treating her as his own daughter.

"It's Alex uncle Lampard," Angela said while still panting a little bit, trying to catch her breath.

"Catch your breath first and then talk. Don't be hasty, I'll wait." Lampard gently smiled but deep within him, he was already thinking about what happened to Alex.

'Did he perhaps did something again? Is it Gill again?' He thought.

It didn't take that much time before Angela's breathing was finally normal, so without wasting that much time, she said to Lampard, "Uncle Lampard, Alex wants to meet you."

"He wants to meet me?" Lampard asked.

"Yes!" Angela nodded.

Lampard was confused, how can a retard asked to meet him? Did he finally turn normal? But immediately after thinking about that, he shook his head.

With a weary smile, it was impossible for someone who had always been a retard since birth to suddenly turn normal. Without thinking much of it, he decided to meet Alex as he is still, after all, the son of the Old King whom he had sworn loyalty.

"Lead the way."
