Goblins ?

3s

After god knows how long he stayed in a total darkness, Seth finally started to get some of his senses back.

With every second that passed he felt more heavy. The darkness that surrounded him started to feel more bright and he even started seeing some blurry images.

After some time passed those blurry images cleared up and what he saw in front of him was something straight out of a horror movie.

A green face with long pointy ears and a nose that resembled that of the witch on the snow white cartoon movie greeted him. He lacked any facial hair, in fact he didn't have any hair at all and was completely bold.

The most frightening thing of all was that he opened his mouth. His small but surprisingly sharp looking teeth were in full display for Seth to see.

Out of that mouth that look like would start biting Seth to death, came the words "Ancestor, praise"

And the small ugly thing proceeded to lower his head.

He wasn't alone either, behind him were three other similar looking ugly things, who did the same thing and lowered their heads too. They appeared to be in a cave of some sorts with terrible lighting. Which didn't obstruct Seth's vision.

These ugly things were probably around 1 meter tall and except the one who spoke earlier all of them were practically naked. With only a piece of cloth tided around their waist.

*Wait aren't these guys similar to goblins from fantasy novels?*

*I ended up as an ancestor spirit of some goblins? Dammit.*

As Seth was wandering what an Ancestor Spirit would look like his gaze got caught in a piece of bright red crystal.

The crystal looked rough, unpolished and was imbued in the top of a what looked like a throne made out of bones.

It wasn't a good made one too. More like someone had put some bones together in a form of a chair.

Still Seth had no time to be observe himself. He had to do something about these goblins we were prostrating themselves before him.

So with a tone that Seth thought it would inspire awe in these ugly goblins he spoke.

"You may rise your heads"

Unfortunately for Seth though, no voice came out of him. Of course no voice would come out of him, he was a crystal. Surely even a magical crystal can't talk right?

As Seth was trying to think of a way to solve the situation a thought crossed his mind. I have my ability [Conference room] it should allow me to communicate.

At that moment something magical happened. Out of no where a faint out line of a man seated on the bone chair appeared.

The body of this man was made out light particles and looked more like an hologram. His facial characteristics were undistinguishable and the only visible thing were his red eyes.

While Seth didn't feel any difference from his point of view, he was starting to get more tiered by the second.

Seth had no idea why but just to be safe decided to make it quick.

He 'looked' at the goblin in front of him which different from the others who had only a piece of cloth to cover their private parts, was wearing a black robe that covered most of his body.

Beside him was a sturdy looking stick, which was as long as the goblin himself. Along the curved body of the stick there were inscribed some strange lines which shone with a white light.

A part of Seth's mind was telling him that they were runes but Seth had no time to pounder on this matters at the moment.

He felt that he could not maintain the hologram for much longer.

So with a deep voice he ordered the goblins.

"You can leave and don't disturb me without my permission."

The goblins started trembling. They quickly left the room while keeping their heads down all the time.

After they had gone Seth started taking in the environment he was in. It looked like he was in a cave of some sorts. The room that he was in wasn't large around 30 meter square and it lacked furnishings.

The ceiling was 2 meters high and

except the bone chair that he would generously refer to it as a throne there was nothing else in the room.

Seth wanted to see more but he had no idea how to move or if a magical crystal could move at all.

As he was thinking this a holographic table with words suddenly blocked his vision.

Aaaaaaa

Seth was startled first but after he calmed down he focused on the holographic table, which wrote.

# Claim goblin cave as your domain (Yes/No)

*For more info go to the Ancestor menu*

Curiously Seth pressed 'yes' and suddenly could 'see' the hole cave.

Like he had cameras in every corner of the cave.

# Congratulation

# You have your created a domain

The cave in it self wasn't big by any means. It was just a long corridor around 20 meters long and 5 meters wide, which lead to three room like little caves.

Some more ugly goblins were resting in the corridor of the cave doing nothing. Also a piles of bones were everywhere in the corridor.

Most of these bones looked to be animal bones but some of the were humanoid skeletons. Which lead to believe that these ugly goblins saw everything as prey.

Moving his vision along side the corridor while ignoring the possibility that this goblins were cold blooded murders, Seth arrived in one of the rooms.

The room in the middle turned out to be his room. While the one on the left of his room was occupied by some small ugly goblin babies.

Apparently goblins took care of their babies communally and not in small family cells like humans on earth.

The room in the right was occupied by the four goblins that were in his room earlier. In one corner of this room there was a pile of rusty bladed weapons.

The goblins appeared to be discussing something with one on other but Seth didn't bother to himself with their discussion.

His focus was in the small tunnel that was in the far left corner of the room. Strangely this tunnel wasn't included in his domain.

And that was all that Seth could see. With a thought Seth returned his focus on his room and started thinking what to do next.

While he was curious about the tunnel that he had discovered earlier. Seth knew that for the moment couldn't do anything to satisfy that curiosity.

As he couldn't figure out what to do next he tried to active his Ancestor menu that was mentioned earlier and succeeded.

# Ancestor menu

# Stats

# Abilities

# Spells

# Maps

# Domain

In the Ancestor menu there were only five options so with a thought he selected States and another holographic window appeared.

# Name - N/A (Seth)

# Ancestor Spirit - 0 stars

# Ancestor race - Goblins

# mana capacity - 35/50

# Mana regeneration - 5/h

So the holographic image of myself drains mana just like a spell?

And my level is 0 ?

There were a lot of things that Seth couldn't understand so he just closed it and opened another window from the Ancestor menu.

# Abilities

# [Genetic modifier]

# [Magic Ancestor]

# [Conference Room]

# [Apostle]+

# [Guidance]+

In the ability window were listed his abilities that he chose from before but apparently he had two more abilities.

And each of them had a small plus next the them. Seth mentality clicked the small plus which opened another window.

# [Apostle]

*you can chose up to your ancestor spirit level plus one apostles. You can communicate without restrictions with your apostles. Apostles cannot disobey your orders. Special conditions need to be fulfilled in order to active this ability.*

The description of apostle ability provided him with useful information. But Seth had no idea on the conditions he needed to fulfill in order to active this ability.

So Seth just moved on. The next tab was spells. Which disappointingly turned out to be just a list of level zero spells that he could cast.

The worst of all was that even the lowest spell needed at least 100 mana to cast.

The map tab on the other hand did exactly what the name said. It provided a map. The map was similar to a map that is common seen in the civilization games.

Here for the first time Seth saw what lied beyond his cave. It was a small clearing that led into a Forest. And all he could see on the map was an endless sea of trees.

In the northwest of his cave was a river that past through the forest or at least the part of the forest that he could see on the map. The distance between his cave and the river in the map was marked as half a day journey.

But as for how far that actually was in kilometers he had in idea.

In the map there also were market some regions. Like in the 'Big red tiger territory' in the north of the cave. The distance on the map was marked as three day journey.

Next to the territory of the 'Big red tiger' in northeast was the territory of the 'Mean spiders'.

While his cave was located in the 'Big mountain'.

Seriously who the hell comes up with this stupid names anyway.

A feeling told Seth that everything that he was seeing in the map was what these goblins had explored.

Needless to say that the names were given by the goblins .

With a mental sigh Seth opened the final tab Domain.

# Domain

# Race overview+

# Goblin cave

# Nr of Adult Goblins - 50

# baby Goblins - 13

# 0 Star Goblins - 50

# 1 Star Goblins - 0

Finally the domain window gave him some useful information.

He had fifty adult goblins and thirteen baby goblins in his command.

And all the goblins power level was 0 Stars. Which his magic ability told him that it was bad.

If goblins star level was the same with the spells star level system than it mend that all these goblins were weaklings.

Which fitted his perception of goblins as low level mobs.

By the way the spells levels ranged from 0 stars, which was the weakest level, to 9 stars which were the strongest.

With a practicced manner Seth mentality clicked the small plus in the race overview and unsurprisingly another window opened.

# Race overview
