Is that a person? Why were they thrown out? Well I only know a couple of things right now. I can't dodge, and I definitely don't want to catch them. That only gives me one option...
I kick the body back in the direction of the guild. Surprisingly tough, my leg feels numb. Ehh! They are flying back out but this time they are crying. Well, lets play a game of pass.
I kick them back in, this time waiting for them to come back. I am so ready... Where are they? Aww, that's no fun. Well time to go in.
I walk in and was immediately bombarded with questions.
"Why would you do that to me!? Not only do I have to suffer through this guild master's abusive nature but I also-"
"Why you- Don't go around ruining my name! You deserved to be kicked out of here!"
"That doesn't mean you have to play some sort of twisted game with my body! I saw that look of excitement in your eyes!"
Maybe I should come back another time... but I still need to get directions. The supposed guild master looks quite old yet at the same time full of life? He has quite the bit of muscles and has a scar on his face. The human ball is the exact opposite, very young looking and seems very tired. The full body armor they're wearing is quite fancy and looks expensive. I assume him to be a knight. This comedic duo keeps on bickering and is stating to really hurting my ears.
"So how do I sign up here?" I say trying to change the topic.
Completely ignored. Well if they are gonna play that way, let me just bind them in space. Summoning out my grimoire got there attention. Lame, I really wanted to bind them and teleport them somewhere.
"Magician? Are you from the magic school?"
Oh there's a magic school huh. That sounds like something to check out.
"So are you gonna sign me up or what? I've been waiting for awhile now."
"Hmm? We are closing soon. Come back tomorrow."
You got to be kidding me right. Well no point in getting on there bad side. I'll teach them a lesson later.
"Fine, where is a good inn at?"
"Just down the street a couple blocks. You can't miss it."
I clearly can! I already did! I don't want to talk to these fools anymore... Let's just go to bed. Giving them a small thanks, I left the guild.
Oh! Here it is. The inn doesn't look the greatest, but it will do quite nicely. The receptionist is looks nice: Golden eyes, Blonde hair, and an above average body. Overall, I would rate a 8/10.
"How may I help you?"
"I'd like to stay for a week. How much would that cost?"
"That will be 2 silver, 3 if you want dinner with that."
Well I don't really need it, but trying different things won't hurt. I take out three silver from my inventory and give it to her. I don't want to sound like a creep but her hands were quite soft.
I walk up stairs to find my room. Room 102. It is surprisingly cozy. I was expecting just a simple bed and hardwood floor, but this room has a soft bed and even has carpet. There is a desk in the corner for anything one would do with a desk.
The bed is soft... Sleep is so nice...
Waking up to the sounds of bells, I estimate that it is 6 am. There was 6 bells ringing after all. Is it really morning already? Gosh, I am getting lazier and lazier each day.
Well let's go sign up after breakfast, but what to eat... Maybe a breakfast burrito this time? That sounds pretty good.
It was good, but I won't torment any of you hungry souls by talking about it. While I was eating I came up with another potential ability: Mana Generator. I'll take all the mana I can get. Sadly, I don't have enough mana to buy another page in my grimoire. I am kinda regretting upgrading my abilities for all that mana.
Okay! Attempt #2 at signing up. Peering through the door, I don't see any of the trouble makers. I walk up to the receptionist.
"Hey, I'm here to sign up to become an adventurer."
"Oh please come with me to the testing room."
Really? No idiotic people trying to fight me? And here I thought that all protagonists have to go through this.
"Please state your name and inject a bit of mana into this orb. If you can't control or don't have any mana I can help you."
'Pyro what does this orb do?'
[It simply measures your class and stats.]
'No talent or abilities, good.'
[Host, instead of bothering me every time, you can use your eyes to analyze things.]
'You never told me how to...'
[Oh...]
Walking up to this orb, I inject a bit of mana into it. It shows very simple stats.
- - -
[Riku Void]
3rd Class Mage
Strength: 500
Agility: 532
Mana Capacity: 10032

As the receptionist, whose name tag says Luna, was about to speak, the guild master came in. Great.
"Hahaha! Look at those terrible stats! That will put you into E rank, if you take quests you can easily rank up to D rank. You are only worth trash!"
How dare this old man call me trash, I have the biggest potential out of all of us. Just wait until I become a sage and you try to kiss up to me, I won't give you sh*t. And what does he mean by D rank? Does that mean those guys I encountered were stronger than me? Well they don't know about all the magic I can use. I'm sure I am C rank.
"What exactly are rankings?"
"You don't even know that much?"
"I kinda just became an adventurer."
"Oh yeah..."
Is this guy an idiot?
"*cough* Well, F rank is for non combat classes, E rank is for 1-2 beginner classes, D rank is for 3-4, C is for 5-6, B is for 7-8, A is for 9, and S is for anything above that. Obviously advanced jobs differ."
'Hmm? He's telling me something different from you, Pyro. I thought you said there was a max of 4.'
[Well, I said when you are peak class 4 you would be able to rank up. You can rank up to class 5 magician if you want to. The further a person goes with the beginner classes the more opportunities they can get for classes.]
"I see. Well if we are done here I would like to go look at the quests now."
