Progress

When we got back home after the near life and death event, I pulled them into the tightest hug I could muster and we stayed like that for a while. If it weren't for my quirk manifesting, our family would...

After that depressing moment, they both were celebrating the fact that I got my quirk and saying it would be great for herosism along with the fact that I already have a hero like Eraser Head as a teacher. Though, mom did express her concern about the dangers of being a hero. Before I could say anything to her, dad beat me to it.

" Honey, I know that you're wory for him and I am too. With his intelligence and maturity, we already knew that he will go far in life. If he knows the dangers of being a hero and has the will to do it, what else can we do other than support him to grow? Besides, with a quirk like that and a hero to train, I'll say he has quite a good start already. ". I gave him a grateful nod for that. " Thanks dad ".

" No problem champ ".

The next day, they took me to go register my quirk [ Barrier ] and it really reminds me of a certain Asslo. After I got home, I immediately started testing my quirk and the results are splendid. From what I can see, I could instantly create dome-shaped Barriers. They are translucent but you can see a grey tint around it. They are capable of blocking and reflecting damage to the target. I don't know how much they can block but base on the fact that the barrier can withstand a knife stab without a scratch, it's safe to assume that the barrier can block normal attacks from an average adult. The reflecting factor seems to depend on the attack it self, so I need to pratice on how to control how much force is being reflected since most villains aim to maim or kill and I don't want to kill them ( maybe).

I can control the size of it so I can make a small barrier to trap the opponent or a big one about 5 meters in length to protect allies as well. Tho, the downside is that I can only create one at a time for now. The force-field can also block objects from passing through it without the user's permission. Another thing is that I have enhanced strength and durability due to the fact that the barrier manifests passively over my skin, I tested this by punching a tree and making a dent in it without feeling pain. So from all of that, I made a list of things to train my quirk:

- Find more of its weakness so I can make counter measures to it. ( ex: what happens if it breaks? )

- Increasing the amount of force the shield can block and the amount of force it returns.

- Increasing the time I can maintain my barrier, how large and small I can make it and the amount of force-fields I can make.

- Find more methods and ways to utilize my quirk in fights. ( maybe some help from Aizawa sensei)

After I got done compiling that mental list in my head, I just realized how busy my schedule will be with my studies and physical training. " Hmm... This will be... Exhausting to say the least. But oh well, it will be worth it I guess. "

===================================

- 2 year time skip -

These two years has been very productive to my physical ability and quirk. Eraser Head has been a slave driver ( in a good sense that is) the first day he told me to play a catch with him with him being it. Even though I won the first round using the fact that he doesn't know about the physical boost I get and somehow it doesn't get erased by his quirk by slamming into a wall and tricking him into thinking I injured myself, tagging him when he got close to me. When he asked me why I didn't tell him beforehand. I casually replied back:

" Why would I? It was a rational deception after all. ". Hearing me, he gave me his signature sadistic smile and told me to get ready for round two. Needless to say, he didn't lose after that. The training program he had for me consist of a workout routine that will gradually grow when I get older me playing his so called "games" to help me build my reflex. As for my quirk training, it has been going fairly well. After I gave him a rundown of my abilities, he took me to a special quirk training facility, saying that they will have better equipment to train my quirk. So far:

- My barrier can now block a speeding motorcycle with no problems at all. And a big plus is that I can now control how much force the shield can reflect, even though I can only use my estimation to guess how much force is enough. It is still better than just outright killing people with their own attacks.

- The time that I can maintain my barrier has increased a lot, I can hold it forever if I want to. If it is against something like flames or bullets ( rubber bullets that is), I can only hold it for two hours before I collapsed in exhaustion. The barrier can cover an entire room and can be small enough to cover a small box.

- The passive boost I get from my quirk has been increased, I can punch holes through walls if I'm not careful and Aizawa's sense I hits doesn't hurt anymore, I can only feel a small discomfort from his hits. I had to find out how to actually turn it off if I want him to continue sparring with me. Though I still keep it on outside from training.

- Unfortunately, I also found out my own weakness. When I was testing the shield's limit on one of the training equipment, I felt a jolt of pain through my body when a crack appeared on the shield. If a crack feels like someone just hit me with a pole, I don't want to know what to know what happens when the barrier breaks.

Aside from that, I going to start my first day of school tomorrow. And I can only imagine how boring it will be.
