7 months later

It had been 7 months since the incident with the meteor. It seemed like yesterday. Since the event, each person had gained new wacky powers. After the meteor had fallen into the river, the city had been put into quarantine, and none of them ever got to see each others abilities except themselves. Since people in their own family could not see these strange beings, they figured no one could, but the people who were there at the day of the incident.

Daniel was chilling in his room, waiting for the quarantine to finally end, so that he could see the abilities his friends had manifested. He thought back to that day-

"WHAT IS THAT THING BEHIND YOU!? WHAT IS THAT THING BEHIND ME!?" Charles screamed in a panic. They looked like aliens, or maybe creatures from a game or anime. They stood beside each person. They were all scared, all except El.

"These things... they are called Stands..." she said looking around, "When I was a kid, I was told stories about creatures like these, extensions of the souls, called Stands." she said.

Daniel looked at his 'Stand'. Its design was sleek and the blue and yellow brilliantly complemented one another. Its razor sharp claws extended from its hands and its antenna and eyes almost looked like those of a bug.

Giannis stand was slowly coming out of him. It was almost like an armor around him. At the end of his hands, sparkles shined, and rained downwards onto the ground.

Charles' stand was almost angelic. It had a halo but at the same time, something seemed off about it, but it was hard to tell what exactly was weird about it. Its wings spanned twice the length of its body. It also was about half the size of Charles but hovered behind him, making it look taller than it really was.

Nicks stand resembled a very buff owl. It stood taller than nick, unlike most of the other stands that were around the same height of the person they were behind.

Andrews stand was like a huge golem, with a furnace for a stomach, and a flame facing downwards to suspend it in the air instead of legs. It's stony grey color was almost reflective.

They still heard the alarms blaring from the facility, so eventually they decided to go home. They planned to meet up once again tomorrow to discuss what happened that day. But strangely, a lock down on the whole country was announced that day. Since that day, Daniel hasn't been able to communicate with anyone that was there that day.

"Something at that lab... messed up my phone so badly, and I can't contact anyone that was there that day with me..." He said. Everyday he hoped that the sudden lock down would be lifted, but he gave up on hope once it had been three whole months with no news on what had happened. An organization known as P.O.S had been delivering food and essential supplies so that no one had to leave their homes during the lock down.

"Why would they put so much money and effort in having the whole country go into lock down like this... there has to be some bigger mystery to this." Daniel said to the cat next to his bed. As he was walking away from the incident, he saw an injured cat that had been hit by the meteor. After months of recovering, it finally could walk again. A name tag on its collar read "Cataro".

Daniel looked at Cataro and finally decided, "We have to figure out what is going on in our home Cataro! Lets go find the others!" He said with a confident expression.

He looked out his window. It was a fifteen story drop from his apartment buildings window. He would have to sneak down fifteen flights of stairs to be able to get out of his apartment complex. 'Should be pretty easy to sneak out... it's not like there would be people guarding each floor or anything stupid like that... right?' Daniel thought.

He made his way to the entrance of his apartment. Everyone else was asleep, and since it was 1:57 a.m. no one else should be awake either. He unlocked the door, and slowly opened it up. He looked in both directions and saw nothing. Cataro poked its head out of his bag and looked with him. He slowly re-locked the door and slowly made his way to the stairs. He heard someone walking around on the floor below.

"Illegal. No one should be outside their home right now- oh wait" Daniel said to Cataro.

He made his way slowly to the stairs and started making his way down. He saw a deliveryman in a strange suit. It was different than what the normal deliverymen wore. Instead of a bright yellow suit, and a gas mask, this one wore black, and had an extended mask. The top of the mask had strange symbols, and completely hid the identity of the man.

'Oh heck.' Daniel thought as he hid for cover. The man didn't seem to notice his presence. In fact he was completely focused on something inside of the room he was standing in front of. He pulled out some sort of tool, and began messing with the lock to the door. After a few seconds, a click came from the door, and it swung open. The deliveryman opened the door and shut it seconds after. 'That's not how deliverymen are supposed to-' Daniel thought before hearing a loud scream.

It lasted for less than a second. 'The walls of this place are super thick, so for me to hear someone scream.... something serious must have happened!'

Daniel took this chance to run past the door. He ran to the stairs and began his descent down to the ground floor. He was on the second to last floor, he looked over the railing and saw weird military trucks outside of the apartment building. Men in lab coats with the same types of masks the deliverymen wore, were near the vehicles with clipboards. One of the men had a strange device that he had pointed towards the apartment. It seemed to beep and glow when facing towards the direction Daniel was facing.

Daniel realized he had to escape from the building a different way. He looked at the railing on the other side of the apartment floor. There was a tree leaning near the building, just barely out of his reach. Daniel secured his bag with Cataro in it and prepared to jump. He started running and jumped onto the railing, and then grabbed onto one of the many branches. He swung himself to another part of the tree, and began climbing down. 'I finally made it to the base of the building, now I just need to find the others. If I am remembering correctly, I know at least Nick and Charles live really close to here...'

He pulled up his hood and began running toward where Nick lived. He ran for 10 minutes straight, and finally arrived at the door of Nicks house. He decided it wasn't a good idea to knock on the front door, so instead he made his way to Nicks window and began knocking.
