The Worst Meeting

"... Ana"

I kind of feel like heard someone.

"Anastasia... "

(Huh? Someone's... calling me..)

"Anastasia!"

"!!" I opened my eyes, then I found, right in front of me, Lily's face. "Ah?!"

Startled by this, I quickly got up and smashed my head into Lily's.

"Ouuuuch! " She groan.

"Ow, ow, ow... " we both rubbed our foreheads in pain, hunching over.

"Sorry, Lily... Are you okay?" I look at her apologeticaly.

"No, I should apologize.. I went and surprised you like that..and all." She frowned.

"Eh.. Haha" I just smile at her. We looked at each other's face then bursts out laughing.

"You're pretty hard head, Ana."

"Oh, I think your head's way harder." I teased, grinning like little kid.

She sigh quietly "I'm really happy my roommate is you, Ana." we hug like we don't care what happened ahead of us as long as we are together.

We ate breakfast together in the Great Hall. There are Big lamp hanging, long chairs and tables, and over there the stadium which headmaster and professors would be giving speech, this room just scream luxury. Here, I can hear all the students murmured, laugh, the excitement feels around the whole room. I was little nervous cause I've never been in this crowd before, I mean, In my previous school it was just not so big classroom and also students were not this many. I looked over to the plate in front of me, still some food left but I'm full already. I saw Lily's done with her breakfast as well.

"Mmm~ today's breakfast is the best!" she admit while rubbing her big tummy. I smile seeing her happy face.

When I was talking with Lily, the students near me became quiet. (I wonder what happened?) Looking around, I see someone walking to our seat at the distance. He comes closer and closer until he is standing right behind me. All students and me shared the same confused expression. He has gold hair, purple eyes and that grim face, there's something different about his uniform from any other students, those Emblems stuck on his clothes.

"Are you that new student ?" He asked looking down at me. "Come, I don't have much time." he said and then start walking away before even hearing my answer.

(What a jerk!? who does he think he is?) I glared at his back, maybe I can even make a hole there. I feel someone tap on my shoulder, "Lily? just who the hell is h-"

She covered my mouth "Sshh! Ana, he's a Prefect, you should follow him now!" she push me to stand up and I run catching him, still I don't understand what's going on.

"Hey, wait up!" I gasp for air trying to catch him. (Damn, he's walking too fast!) I grab his hand which making him stop.

He stare at me like I'm an idiot without shame "Didn't I tell you? I don't have time for someone like you."

"Then answer me! who are you? where are we going to?" I still grabbing his hand, afraid he would just walk away again. "At least, explain to me." I said these words more quiet.

"You're really a troublesome girl, aren't you?" he sigh frustrated. "The headmaster want me to take you to his office since it's your first time coming here."

"Headmaster? O-oh.." So it's the Headmaster who asked him to pick me up. He should've told me sooner.

"You got it? Now, let go of my hand." he snatches his hand away. I followed behind him as we walk together. Without realizing it, I've been staring at his back, he's tall and have a really nice built, but his attitude is really bad. Lily said he is a Prefect? I guess it's hard to be familiar with someone who has dominance aura around him.

After the awkward silence, we finally arrived in front of the Headmaster room, he knock at the door and not long after the door opened by itself. We walk inside the room, just to be welcomed by an amazing view. The room filled with books, paintings, and an eagle statue, the atmosphere is really calming. I noticed an old looking man sitting at the desk, reading files. He glance up to see us and a smile suddenly form on his lips.

"We welcome you to Royal Wizard Academy, Miss Anastasia Koyuki. I'm the Headmaster and also Professor of this school, Albert Louis." The Headmaster stand there.

I bowed my head quickly. "I-I'm Anastasia Koyuki! I really am grateful I can be accepted here, Headmaster." I nervously said.

I can hear the Headmaster laugh. "You are the unique one, aren't you? You can call me Professor Albert. Even though, it's been so long since I've seen someone as cheerfull as you." he come over and standing in front of me. "You remind me of someone." he casually smile at me.

"Pardon?" I had no idea what he meant by that.

Professor Albert continues "But that certain someone has turn into a serious student once he become a Prefect." For a moment, he take a glance to the guy next to me who's been quiet all this time.

Professor sits back down "I asked you two to come here because I shall explain you the rules of this school. First of all, we prohibited all students to go to Forbidden Forest and East Tower, many students had broke the rule didn't end up in good condition. Knowing what the outcome, I hope you stay away from trouble Miss Anastasia." I nod, understand what he getting at. "Here we use magic for studying and other things, but EXCEPT for fighting. We can't tolerate all students whose try to use magic to fight each other at school. But, in one condition, you're allowed to use magic to defend yourself. As you know, there are still many other rules in this Academy but I think I will leave the rest to our Prefect here." Professor refers to the guy beside me, which he responded with a nod. "Also, you don't have to attend class for today Miss Anastasia, I'd like you to take a walk around the school with Noah. It's an important thing to get used to the area around here."

"U-uh.. Professor? May I ask you who is this 'Noah'?" I wonder if that person will be coming here soon.

Professor Albert looks surprised. His eyes swift to the guy next to me again. "Don't tell me you haven't introduce yourself properly, Noah Crawford?" (what?) I look over to him.

Noah look down the ground, he seems sweating "Well.. um I forgot to do that, Professor." he said with a low voice that I can't barely hear him.

Professor Albert just sigh, he seemed like he already knows this will happened. "Noah, you better remember to introduce yourself when you meet someone new, and I wish you could be a little nicer to them in the future."

"Yes, Professor." Elias got nothing to argue. I think Professor can tell that he's been acting cold to others too.

We excuses ourselves and leave the Headmaster room. We walk side by side, no-one say anything. I was the one who break the ice between us.

"So um.. you're Noah?" I asked again, making sure I'm not hearing it wrong.

"You heard that before.. well yeah my name is Noah Crawford." He answered still looking straight to the front.

"I see.." (Just that, huh?) he didn't even bother saying something like 'Nice to meet you'. (Huftt... can't be help then).

I could hear someone running towards us from behind. Their footsteps became more clearer. I slow my pace.

"Anastasia!" (Hm? This voice sounds familiar.) I turn around and see Harold with that handsome smile attached to him, running to catch both of us "Hey, what's up?" he asked but when he saw Noah standing next to me, his expression changed "Huh? Why are you with her?"

"Is there a problem? Professor Albert wanted me to show her around the school so, wait- How do you know each other?" Noah look at me and then Harold.

Harold smirk, his face look like he just got an idea. "Hmm.. what is it, are you curious? Or perhaps you are just jealous?"

Hearing that coming out of nowhere, Noah eyes widen....
