Jinn

After being insulted by his father,  Ruhan returned to the party with a gloomy mood. He took long breaths to calm his mood.

However,  after going to the party,  his mood worsened.

'Loathsome girl' Ruhan cursed inwardly, 'Look how shamelessly she is chatting with other men.'

The way Lisa was chatting and laughing with the investors, she never did that with Ruhan.

If they had been old, ugly men, Ruhan wouldn't have felt anything.  But there were some young heirs and handsome investors among them. They were taller, fairer and more successful than Ruhan. When Ruhan saw them chatting with Lisa, he began to feel insecure.

This was the criteria of men. No matter how scum they were or how many girls they kept outside, they would never tolerate if their wives got close to any other men.

Ruhan strode over to her and interrupted their conversation rudely.

"If you don't mind, may I steal my wife for some time?" he said jokingly while he wrapped his hand around her possessively.

Lisa stiffened and gritted her teeth, 'Damn boy never leaves any chance to take advantage.'

She didn't like his proximity. She discreetly removed his hand and put distance between them.

"Ha ha" the others laughed out loud, "Looks like someone is missing his wife."

Lisa gave a forced laugh and excused herself.

Ruhan pulled her to an isolated corner and began to glare at her hatefully.

"What? " Lisa was annoyed.

"Don't you have a sense of propriety? How could you converse so casually with men?!! Don't forget that you are Ahmed family's daughter-in-law.  Pay attention to your behaviour. " Ruhan began to chastise her.

"I don't think I did anything inappropriate." Lisa frowned.  She hated when anyone questioned her character. "It was your father who told me to establish good connection with them."

Lisa wasn't lying.  As this post was reserved for the heir, the project manager was in charge of communicating with foreigners so that the heirs could establish connection.

However,  Ruhan was a good-for-nothing and the post was occupied by Lisa. So naturally the responsibility fell on her.

"He instructed you to establish connection, not to seduce them with your coquettish act." Ruhan sneered.

"You..." Lisa's face turn green. This guy really had the ability to anger her to death.

She took deep breath to calm down, then forced a smile, "What can I do? I have such an incapable husband. So whenever I see capable men, my behaviour automatically becomes seductive. "

"You...you...shut up. You are the one who is incapable. " Ruhan's face turned red with anger.

Who did she call incapable? He was both looks and talent. He was just lazy, ok?

"Whatever, I am busy. Don't annoy me." Lisa waved her hand and dismissed him.

It was when Lisa began to leave, Ruhan remembered the reason he called her here.

"Wait wait wait...I have something to ask you." he tried to stop her hurriedly

"What? " Lisa was really annoyed.

"I overheard your conversation with T...I mean your secretary. She forgot to bring her pendrive right? Then how did you prepare your presentation? " Ruhan asked seriously.

He was really curious about the answer. Whenever Lisa faced any disadvantage, she always managed to solve her problems and even turned the situation into a favourable condition. He really wanted to know how. No one was omnipotent. He believed that Lisa always had hidden strategies and back up plan to counter unfavourable situations. He wanted to learn from her.

Lisa looked at Ruhan deeply. It was the first time he showed curiosity in her work. His face was plastered with undisguised curiosity. He looked like a little kid who wad eager to learn everything.

Seeing him like this, Lisa had the sudden urge to pinch his cheek...so she did. She reached out her hand and pinched his face so hard that he winced with pain.

Ruhan removed her and looked at her grudgingly. His cheek had turned red. Lisa chuckled... As she expected, it was really fun. She should do it more.

"Why aren't you answering? " Ruhan was frustrated. He didn't like suspense.

"You really want to know?" Lisa said with a naughty smile.

"Hmm" Ruhan nodded.

"It's a secret. Come closer." Lisa whispered.

Ruhan hesitated but came closer to her.

Lisa leaned towards him and said seductively, "I somehow managed to seduce a jinn. Now it always stays with me and follows my instructions. You better be careful and do not take advantage of me. He is a jealous one ah!"
