Part 2: **The Divorce**
The telephone rang.Adam took the telephone to his ear ."Adam, Mrs smith has arrived , it was his secretary. "Ok, send her in ",he replied ."Yes ",June replied as she drops the telephone and moves to the reception ."Madam ,he is free now so you can see him ", she said "This way please",she added directing Mrs Smith to his office . Mrs Smith turned to June ," I am his wife and I know his office, bitch!", she said rudely. "Sorry Madam ",June apologised .
" Hmm", She scoffed ,increasing the sound of her heels as she walked towards Adam's office .She barged into his office,staring at the surroundings and seeing some changes done to the office like the position of the armchair and a new wallpaper . She turned to see Adam seated on his office chair staring at her."Adam,My dear husband ! I've really missed you",She said faking a smile .
"Let's get straight to business,You were called here to sign a divorce paper.I have signed and so you have to sign as well", he said shifting the paper with a pen on it to her."What ! a divorce?, " she said surprised ." Anyway a case without evidence cannot be attended to by the court and i won't sign it ", she added arrogantly. "Would you like to do it the easy way or the hard way ? let's not waste eachother's time ,to me ,time is money. I want to do this the easy way but if you are not willing to cooperate then i have no choice than to do it the hard way and trust me you wouldn't want to go down that lane ", he stated.
"What do you mean?"she asked looking confused. Adam brought out the evidence from the envelope and scattered it on his table . Sandra opened her mouth wide agap as she never expected he had gathered so much evidence against her ."What! how did you..." she said full of fear and deceit. Just imagine having this pictures and videos posted on social media, won't it be humiliating and disgraceful of a woman like you and to your family ?",he threatened giving a sinister smile.
She tried to tear the pictures desperately,"Tear as many as you can ,there's a lot more where that came from",he warned. "You can't do this to me ... am still your wife ", She said shedding crocodile tears as she signed the paper .Sandra broke the pen and stormed out of the office with rage she vented the anger on anybody that greeted her on her way out of Adams office.
" Finally!", he heaved a heavy sign of relieve as he adjusts the knot of his tie. Few minutes later , the lawyer , Mr Marcos arrived ,"Sorry sir! am late",Marcos apologised. " We have signed the divorce document and here are the evidence, you know what to do", he said. " Yes, sir ! don't worry it will be taken care of",Mr Marcos assured. He took the documents and headed to the court where he submitted it to the Judge....
