"Have you been awake this entire time?" Raven's co-pilot asked me. I looked up at him. He stood at the top of the stairs that led to the sleeping quarters. "Even the Legend has slept."

"I'm not tired," I answered, looking back at the file.

"You get the nightmares too... don't you?" He asked. I forced myself not to look at him. "You're human like the rest of us. We would understand."

"I said I am not tired," I repeated. I raised my gaze to glare at him. He was only a few years older than me, with messy blond hair and narrow eyes. "I am trying to work."

"Right... you're a scientist too. That must mean you're pretty smart. Special ops and a scientist." He said. The kid didn't seem to take the hint. I sighed to myself. "That means you know what happens when you don't sleep for days."

"Kid, I do not need a lecture," I warned. He ignored my warning and took a seat beside me. I slid a few feet away from him, closing my bracelet and glaring the kid. He watched at me with a confused expression. "What?"

"What type of scientist are you?" He asked. I frowned slightly, shocked at his simple question.

"I focus more on genetic engineering," I answered slowly.

"What stuff do you have?"

"Stuff?"

"You know... uh, diplomas and stuff."

"Oh... um..." I frowned and tried to remember their names. I hadn't thought of them much lately. "I have a diploma in biotechnology. A diploma in human psychology. Two certificates in biology. A certificate in criminal forensics."

"That's a lot." He noted. "No, PHDs?"

"I don't have time for them," I answered. "Plus I get bored focusing on only one thing."

"Jack of all trades but master of none is better than a master of one." He nodded. I raised my eyebrows at him. He flushed red and stutter an explanation. "Old saying. Really old."

He stood and stretched his arms over his head. He rubbed his head, messing up his hair even more.

"You should get some sleep. We're going to be landing in a day or so." He said as he walked towards the cockpit. Over his shoulder, he added a final comment. "Room one and two are completely soundproof."

I stared at his back at he disappeared. His words rang in my head. Room one and two. I stood and walked down the steps. I entered room-one and closed the door. There were two beds in the room. I fell into one. I was asleep before I could pull the blanket over me.
