A Little Hand

It was already 8:00 AM. Liz checked the time on the monitor of her car.

She sped up a little bit towards the Montenegro Mansion.

If you are asking how she knew Leo's address, it was because one time during an event. Leo forgot a change of attire and no one else was there to order but her. Although he was a little hesitant, but he directed her to go to his house anyway.

Of course she did not go inside, she waited outside the gates. Waiting for the attendant to fetch Leo's clothes.

She turned off the music in her car and shut down the engine of her car. She stayed for a while inside the car before picking up the wallet, obviously nervous.

She doesn't want to risk their already fragile relationship but at the same time she feels guilty for not giving his wallet to him right away, thinking this might be important on this day.

She calmed her erratic heart, telling herself it would be okay. She got out of her car her expression turning into that of the usual smiling Liz, her eyes resolute of her decision.

Liz treasured and valued this skill of her that can hide her emotions behind her smiling mask. Even though she can feel how nervous she is at the moment, she can still somehow and amazingly hide it when she's in front of others.

She smiled while walking towards outside the gates.

"Hello?" She said trying to find some guards stationed at the gates. And sure it is, there is one.She smiled at the guard. But before she could say anything the guard cut her off.

"Do you have any business here?" The guard said rather abruptly with his tone tough. The guard was having a peaceful morning until Liz came in front. 'Is this one of Sir's mistress?' the guard thought secretly.

Maybe because he doesn't want to lose his job especially at this day where Leo is being sensitive.

"Uhm, I don't mean any ill intention. I just want to drop off Leo's wallet." Liz said protectively, she doesn't want to create a misunderstanding or ruckus of any sort. She just wants to leave peacefully.

She handed Leo's wallet to the guard.

The guard has his doubts but he still picked up the wallet the woman gave her.He inspected the wallet and upon seeing the picture on the wallet, he concluded this was indeed his superior's. After inspecting some more, he confirmed that the woman was not lying.

He cleared his throat and asked "What is your name?"

Upon seeing that, Liz gave a smile. But upon hearing the question she froze for a while. If she gave out her name, Leo would immediately know that she came to his mansion.

"I'm Eliza Chen." Liz introduced herself softly, with a thousand situations running in her mind.

The security guard nodded his head while putting the wallet down, finding some pen to write her name down.

But before the guard could write her name down, Liz interrupted him "Excuse me, can you not tell Leo my name? Or anything that I visited here?"

"I'm sorry Ms. I can't do that." The guard said to her before writing her name into the paper. Afterwards, the guard called to some attendant and talked to her before giving the wallet. The attendant nodded but before she could leave she whispered something to the guard in which the guard responded with a shocked almost horrified reaction. Then the guard and Liz noticed that some of the attendants inside are scurrying at the background.

Seeing no point of negotiation, Liz said "Well then" before leaving towards her car with thousands of thoughts running on her mind. Her heart was beating with nervousness at the moment but of course one can't see any hint of nervousness in Liz's face.

However, while Liz was talking to the guard, she did not notice a little hand opened her car's door and got inside since she did not closed it since she thought that she would be just quick.
