Last steps before getting some sleep

One of the switchers, which I saw down at the bottom, remembered me about an anime I watched in my old world. What was it called again... Sword Art Online? I could practically implement a minimum limit of players which would have to join and then my trap them inside of the game would activate. Now that I remembered it, they said, besides developing virtual reality, they developed making new bodies, which was pretty much a secret before, but now that I know it, I could use it for my goals. World domination! I never knew when those thoughts appeared in my mind, but it may be that my demon's heart has already affected me with some malicious thoughts.

The second switcher was literally making the world more real. Not those anime-like figures, I have always seen before, but real living, breathing bodies. This implemented friendly fire, life-like effects and all senses were being able to be used. Theoretically, nobody could tell the difference between the real world outside and the world inside of the game. Actually, I wanted to make the game much more liveable than the real world. Although I set the minimum limit of immigrants, when the patch with the permanent players was set up, they had the same conditions as the NPCs in the game, having one life, a very low chance to revive as an Undead in the Underworld, which expanded with every new Undead in depth and area. More players were still able to come over even though they had to stay in the game forever. But in the time before the patch, these players were able to make better conditions for them, even though their birth rate will be lowered to a normal level where they were only able to have at a maximum three children. Hopefully, that will help dampen the rate of people having illegitimate children. Even the NPCs of the inferior lifeforms will have their birth rate lowered to three children a couple, that's a universal law.

Next, exiting from the settings, I finally travel to the Northern continent to set up the first batch of playable creatures and see what it looks like.

During my travel, I once again realised how big my world is, and that is only the central continent. So, after a few hours of travelling over sea, mountains and flatland, I arrived at the outskirts of the Northern continent. Arriving there, I opened the world map and used my unique ability as a dryad to zoom into the world. The northern continent appeared and scanning over the continent I realised, that the wood elves were the neutral faction, the dark elves were the dark faction and the light elves, were the light faction. How I realised this, was the way the continent was divided into. On the left side, a mountainous side with a plus on it said Light faction. The mountains there were all snowy white and the elves that lived there, were all meant to be righteous and honourful. They are mostly clerics with high mana reserves.

On the right side, once again was mountainous, but since it was the base of the dark faction, the mountains were made of pitch-black stone. The elves there are mostly stealthy, specialised assassins.

And lastly, in the middle, a big forest, surrounded by windy plains and luffing grass, stayed there, in which forest elves lived. The forest elves were specialised in riding animals, had a high affinity for nature and were proficient at shooting arrows with bows.

That's what I inserted into the plus signs because the world I was on, was pretty much made completely on the surface area and only the races which lived on it were the only thing missing.

Next, on the Eastern continent, the set up was pretty much the same, only, they didn't have set home bases like on the northern continent but the Vikings were placed to develop at the shore, to set out for sea. The barbarians were extremely angry and vicious nomads, which travelled the land and lastly the eastern people, living at the centre on the highest peaks in temples, where precious herbs grew and they time for cultivation had.

The southern continent, where the dwarfs lived, the body of the continent was pervaded with canyons, gorges, mountains and some swamps, where the outcasts of the dwarves live, but mostly stony terrain. And the nobler dwarves live underground in stone cities of high handicraft.

The traits of the dwarves were, that they had a very good talent for crafting stuff, it just depended on where they lived to create different stuff with different materials.

The beast men on the Western continent are very different built from the rest of the other races on the continents, since they can change their forms at will and their environment is built, so that it's the survival of the fittest. The entire continent has no mountains, but is entirely built like unexplored, pure wilderness, comparable to their wild lifestyle. Every one of these different races has a different trait which makes them better than ordinary humans but as well gives them a trait which puts them at the disadvantage of racism when the other societies meet them, except mermen which have an animalistic site to them as well.

Remembering that there were mermen as well, which were the most difficult to create, since their playground was the whole sea around the world. To overcome that difficulty, I flew back to the world tree, sat on my castle's spire and opened the map. Then, I searched the ideal spots for mermen to develop and put them in their spots.

Finally, having time again, I opened my notifications:

[Changed a universal law: Screen and system for everyone]

[New worlds created: Vampire's 'Bloody Hell']

[New world created: Giants's 'Jotunheim']

[New world created: Dragons's 'Ascaris']

[The races of the world 'Midgard' have been created]

[New dryads have been created, since new worlds have been added to the world tree and they are waiting for you at your castle]

[More than five worlds are attached and connected: Choose a name for the world tree]

- I choose the name 'Yggdrasil' from northern mythology

[Your power has nearly depleted after doing so much creation in one go and you have to sleep, after setting everything up, what has to be done]

Behind me were now six different dryads, which looked like wooden duplications of their respective races. "Can you look more life-like with skin and everything? This wooden look isn't really my taste."

The skin changed in instant to whatever their spcific races had as skin and look. The one from this world, named Midgard, even had the ears of an elf, the face of a human, a tail like a cat and she floated like she was in water with her fishtail as legs.

"I will soon have to sleep for a very long time, only my subconscious mind can answer on the prayers, but physically I can't do anything to help anybody. Your job will be to hold the balance between the races and not yet let anyone come on the central continent, besides the five superior races naturally, which you will treat as your equals, when living here. Train hard because you're god's warriors, an elite unit in the multiverse and responsible for training the guards here, which will protect me during my long sleep. About how to access the map of the surrounding, you see the circle in your right hand upper corner? Click on it."

"We will do as you say. You may rest in peace, for that nobody shall disturb your sleep."

"The warriors you will train are the most elite forces of the five allied races. This training shall not start but in 300 hundred years, when you passed the last test, the turning into space creatures. This can only be possible after training at the hardest conditions and processes. Since you're the commanders of the forces in this multiverse, I don't want spoil you and sour your behaviour, and as the overseers you have to have a clear and a strategic mind. So, I order you to train your mind at the dragons library, the floating city which floats somewhere in the central continent and your body in every environment there currently is. Each one of you has an advantage in a certain terrain and I want you to help each other. Form a party and share the experience you get from slaying monsters.

I have to go now. My eye lids are nearly falling down. You too, develop well. And let's see us again in a thousand years, when I can actively participate again.

Walking away slowly, I let them behind me and hear them whisper silently, thinking, that I can't hear them,

- Why can't he participate anymore in worldly affairs?

- Didn't you listen to his dialogue?

- No, not really, he had such a domineering aura. I always had to think about, why he didn't just crush us and does everything himself.

That had had to be one of the newer dryads.

- That was just his weakened aura. And the reason he was weakened was, that he created three new worlds, changed universal laws, and gave birth to new races which inhabit Midgard.

- What was that about the beasts, he talked about?

- When he showed us how to access the map of the world, I saw dungeons, so probably the monsters from there.

- And...

The rest I didn't hear, because I was too far away, I was still weakened after all. Slowly walking through the hallways, which were as big as the giants, for them to pass through, I was astounded at the marvellous technique the system used to create it. Everything was made out of rare materials, found all over the worlds. The ceiling was supported by colossal statues, which were holding it in place. And the crazy thing was, that every statue represented me.

Arriving at the throne room, I clicked on the first of the options represented to me,

[Open source chamber]

[Open control chamber]

The throne which I stood before split into two halves and I walked into the hallway that had opened up. Down and down it went, until once again I arrived at the power source of the castle. It glowed in a green light, showering me with life energy.

I shaped the core from a round ball into a nice bed with curtains and instantly fell asleep on it.

The fasten time button activated when my mind drifted of into nothingness...
