First experience

Multiverse?! What? I thought it was a game? While these thoughts flashed through my mind, the darkness of the loading screen disappeared and a white cloud appeared beneath my feet. Stamping on it, I tested the consistency of the cloud and was shocked to realise that I felt what the cloud was feeling like. While imagining how the world must look like and how it would feel like to live there and experience adventures, although not at the cost of real death, you would feel, what it would be like, getting teared apart by monster or the feeling of helplessness while drowning in water, I thought about which character build I should use. Shield warrior (a warrior with high hitpoints) or maybe a damage dealer, or even a mage. Although I never play as a mage, I think it would be fun. Together with the archer and the cleric, those were the traditional classes to choose from. Unfortunately for him, this wasn't the normal game he had already experienced before, but some completely new. For him to realise this point was still coming. Then a message arrived in front of him, in the middle of his view:

[All players have been uploaded. Gathering at one point initiated]

At that moment, he disappeared from his spot through a rift that had opened behind him.

Opening his eyes again, which he had closed from shock, he saw the 15 other players chatting with one another. Regrettably for his eyes, he saw the other players were naked as was he himself as well, and that in every fibre from his real world self. That he knew, when he looked down and saw his same, little junior. I didn't speak to any person. I am not that much of a social person, although, if someone asks me to do something, I would probably do it because I am actually a nice person.

Slowly walking to the others, determined to not look down at their little hanging things. Unfortunately there weren't any girls here...;-) At that moment

For my opinion it said this last part a bit too hopeful. But others weren't that talented in getting other's signs and directly said: "Skip tutorial! I want to see the world." This time with glee in its voice, the voice of the spirit talked again to us.

An urn appeared in the arms of the people who had said, they wanted to go. Immediately after, anybody else, except me wanted to go as well, blinded by greed, not listening to their intuition as long-time gamers.

[You all can go.] Then, when I was the only person, that stayed back the spirit got filled with life. It became a person, or more a monster, that has shrinked into the size of a man. With a rusty voice, that seemed like it hadn't been used for ages it asked: [Why didn't you go?]

"Because, as a profi gamer, I know when there's a new and unique game, I have to do everything one step after another and not rush anything. If not, I would miss something that could lead to a new quest or event."

[So it is greed as well? Just in a thought through way that experts from this age think like. Alright, I will mark that comment from you. But let's continue with the tutorial you wanted to have]

"Mhm. Sure." Talking with the guide made him realise, that the NPCs were different in this game. Not having a pre-written script of what to say, but are self-developing and learning of the behaviour of others. "Say, who are you? I just have questionm... err... I don't know who you are and~"

[Shush child, we non-player-characters as you would say, have the same system as you]

With that single and simple sentence, my world was thrown into a disorder. I nealy wasn't able to follow the spirits instructions as I thought about completely other things right now.

[In this worlds, everybody has a system. On your right hand corner, there's a map. Not everybody has the same attack power as others. Open your character sheet and I will explain everything to you. First of all, the hitpoints will be the same to everyone except a few exceptions, the boss monsters. There are all different kinds of proffesions in the multiverse and if it isn't there, it can be created, if the permission is granted by the overseers. About the stats, there are four major stats, Strength, which will affect your look of muscles and attack power, Vitality, which will affect your hitpoints and how tall you are, Agility, which will affect your movement speed and attack speed, and lastly, Intelligence, which will affect, how fast you can learn something and your magic points. There isn't any magic attack power, because you have to learn a skill and it then depends on how many intelligence points you have for the damage to be significant. Next, you can't give out quests like us NPCs but you will die like us and then will be sent to the next live, which you don't want to experience. As well, you won't be able to log in for a week in real-life time while in here time is multiple times faster than outside already. This will only speed up in the future, since the human brain adapts to the change in time. There's as well a patch planned, when there are more than 3 billion players in here. This is about everything you need to know at this point. To choose a class, you have to first choose your race and seek a class trainer. Your fellow gamers, will have to figure this out on their own. With that, the ancient figure disappeared into nothing and left nothing but grey mist behind.
