Kishtan: Active day

After my mind has drifted into nothingness, my mind got connected with the internet and I swam around like a fish in the data streams. Days passed and I finally got the hang out of how to access information. First, I looked up, how the outside world looked like, and after the fasten time button was loosened, an alarm was set off at the headquarters of Rising dragon company. They immediately sent me a message

- Hey John, how are you? Or shall I call you Kishtan now? How was the time, staying in there as a god? Have you had a good experience? What is the game about? Is it very good, because, we don't want other companies to overtake us after this expenditure in you and this game. We want it to be unique and classified to be ranked on top of the leading boards in matter of games.

- Please Kishtan from now on. And I am pretty fine. It was actually fun, creating this world. And playing as a god, I had so much fun. About the game, I won't tell you anything yet. You have to try it, but I can guarantee, that it will be a massive hit in the market. And you can start advertising it immediately, if that was the next question, that you wanted to ask.

- So it is absolutely safe and sound to start playing and trying it. Can we soon start beta testing it?

- Yeah sure, why not?

The next weeks, that I spent in the data streams, I looked up the profiles of the different professional players, which will beta test the game soon or how I could improve the game with ideas out of the net.

Then that day came, on which the players started playing my game. Watching the speech of the manager of the company, I could only chuckle about the attempt to persuade the various major factions to invest into the game. Walking away from the others, with the players behind her like ducklings behind their mother, they listened to everything she said. The door opened and the players got naked and lied in their capsules. Allegedly, the secretion should help with the connection of the brain in the capsule and the body in the game to be more synchronisised, but the truth was, that that wasn't everything; even the people from dragon rising company didn't know, that, if I activated the patch that will be implemented, the brains of the players will be uploaded like mine and they only have the advantage against each other, with the advantages they make for themselves in the early phases of the game.

Now in the game, I observed their behaviour on their clouds and one particular fell into my eyes, because, instead of observing his body an pinching it, he tests the cloud's density and how real it is.

After all 16 players have started up and were logged in, I assembled them all in one place, my temple. There, I had enough power to materialise my body as a ghost form since it consumed less of my stamina and for one person I will appear personally. That is, if one person stayed back. They probably all assume, that it's just some normal RPG game, with NPCs that have pre-written scripts, and there is a storyline, that everybody has to follow. What a bad opening for them there will be if they didn't stay for the tutorial. And what fun it will be today, seeing these players being shredded by the beasts and NPCs after not preparing hard enough or not realising, that if attacking a stronger opponent, there won't be many chance to defeat him.

About the assembly, they were all naked with exactly the same bodies as in the real world. And the only reason, why I haven't given them any clothes yet, is because their bodies will be changed by the race change and they receive the inventory bag as the only thing they need. For the men they will receive a loincloth and women will receive a bra and some rags. No weapons for them, we don't want them to hurt themselves with a knife, would we? Maybe I should give them one, just for fun after having that thought of them experimenting with knives, but decided against it. They will receive one after undergoing training and receiving a class, after which they can leave the beginner's village and travel into the wilds.

Acting like the normal NPC introducter I asked them if they wanted to skip the tutorial and I might have leaked a bit glee in it, thankful for the good show, which will come and offered them a present to get more of the players willing to skip the tutorial. In the end, only one player stayed back and after having a rather long conversation with him, I gave him some hints for the reporter back in real life to publish and tips on how to start the game. Then I sent him off. But a few moments later, just as I wanted to return to the world tree, my castle and seat of power, a call was incoming. I saw that it was from the player and asked what is up. He had problems with choosing a race and starting continent. Well, wow! But as I am in a good mood, I will help him. A short conversation about apologising and offering a headstart against the other players I send him off again and this time for real. The profession and the race I offered him, just then came into my mind, so I gave them to him. Knowing, he was a committed gamer, if a game made fun and was worth it, he was always one of the best, so I chose him to have a unique profession already at the start of the game to get used to its skills and the skills that will be unlocked after a few level-ups. Sending my mind back into the body to the source of the world tree, into my body, I open up the map and click onto one of the purple dots, near a wolfsman village and click on the view button. The next thing I saw, was the fight against a transformed wolfman out of the perspective of the player, and it didn't look good.
