Using the gifts (2)

The way to nurture good guards included:

- My blood as a daily nutrition

- Daily training from the dryads, which had been self-taught to fight and assess situations in the last millennium, observing the worlds, their wars, politics and behaviours

- Good body structure and body base

- A person who treats them well

That' pretty much everything you need. And the reason why I didn't use the dryads as guards, was, that they need to overlook the worlds, while the gods overlook their races. While looking at the 10 special younglings, I think that they have to at least be as big as me and for that to happen, I need new things that have that effect. Oh! My! God! There is something. "Come here, my children. I will give you something." A skill of mine, which I immediately used, after I had the thought. ~Fasten time. A bubble appeared around the vampires, enclosing them and some nearby dark blood, colouring the bubble pitch-black, so that not even I, with my superior, glowing eyes, could see anything what happened inside of it. After some gurgling noises appeared, as if some liquid was sucked out and emptied, the bubble started to grow bigger and bigger, becoming as big as me. Then, with a simple and loud, reverberating sound, they plopped, showing ten massive, Godzilla-like creatures except they didn't have a tail and scales, but white, pale skin and between the horns all over their body, there were some pair of wings, that had grown massively again, that if they were spread out, their span would be double their body height. The biggest of them stepped forward. "I, Barbaro, the leader of the vampire special squad, will be your subordinate. Thank you for creating me, father." He knelt down and the other nine followed directly, waiting for me to say something. Every time the same! Why do I always have to give a speech?! "You are family to me and family protects each other. So the reason why you are already grown up, is to get education and to lead this vampire tribe to glory. This time, you ten will come with me, but that is an exception. After a year of studying, you are sent back to your tribe that should have developed by then into an exceptional force through the training regime, set up by me and through my blood that builds the nutrition and base of your life.

"Come on. There is nothing left to do here. Just let them be. By the way, if you accept a mission, say hello or goodbye, use Hail Kishtan..."

"We are ready to head out."

After they gave their consent, I opened a dimensional rift that lead back to the castle grounds. Stepping through it, the behemoths behind me shook the ground of the castle and I thought that it may be a good idea to send them to a different place to study combat and stuff from the dryads, after they destroyed all the good-looking statues of me on their way accidentally, just from walking by. Then, I gave the dryads a nice call. "Come over, now! There is a mission for you!"

Realising the owner of the voice, they used their fastest means of transport to get over. But already from afar, they saw the eleven gigantic creatures standing there, while one of them tried to minimise the damage the other ten did to the garden and the outer walls of the castle. And they knew, this will mean a looooot of work for them.

"Hail Kishtan!" The dryads landed behind me, while I pulled a gigantic vampire behemoth away from trying to eat my trees and bushes, thinking that they will bleed.

"Ah, there you are. Thanks for coming. By the way, I have a lot to do now and I want you to do a special training regime with these ten so they will be my personal guards. Barbaro should be able to lead forces and the other nine as bodyguards or personal fighters of mine. They will be your reinforcements. While you concentrate on the worlds and events for the players, I will concentrate on the players themselves and on creating new worlds. For you to train them properly, I will create you a new world, solely for the purpose of training newbies or ourselves. In the future, it may become planet on which there is always war, so that there is never a lack to fight."

"We understand. Recruits, stand still!" But the vampire behemoths didn't even look at them, less respect them. The dryads then looked at me, expecting me to help them, but as the superiors in the training, they had to show, what was in them. This meant they had to fight with them.

"Hey! Are you even listening to me?", one of the dryads, the one from Jotunheim, realised the first that I won't help them in this fight and challenged the behemoths. "We will be your trainers from now on. So, LISTEN!" With that last outcry, she used one of the battle skills, she picked up during her training. "You guys aren't the first I train and won't be the last. I know how to handle guys like you. I have trained a whole army. Each of us has." Finally, her club, the one she had been charging up with some skill, began to shine brightly. ~Gigantic space smash. This is a skill, she had comprehended after becoming a space creature, just a hundred years ago. The surrounding environment became heavy, everything was affected, and it seemed as if hundreds of kilos pressed down on them. Then, the smash came. It looked like an extension of her club, that became wider and wider with each meter it passed, and it landed on the first behemoth. Instant defeat was the only thing you could say. The behemoth seemed to have suddenly collapsed and out of his back, black blood spurted out through cracks in the shell-like back. Now, the dryads had their full attention after witnessing one of their brothers being beaten in just one hit.

"Hey, they should still be taught how to fight and be able to work. Don't ruin them already!"

"I apologise for the inconvenience I caused you, Your Majesty."

"Let's go on. I have other things to still take care of." Opening the world map and clicking on the world tree, I tapped the 'add world button' and named the world as 'Area 51' to show that there were new skills tested and or more likely training that was in progress. It was named like that, to give of a feeling that remembered me of my home.

"There you go. I will head off now. See you again, at maximum, in a year" ~Dimensional rift: Area 51

Slendering off, I heard the dryads shout at the behemoths: "This was already lesson number one and two. First one: Never piss off your instructor or you will regret it and the second one: that person, the 9 meter tall guy with the monstrous look, strolling away, that is the person you should protect when you are back from your special training. And he hates people that are useless to him, so you all should work hard and harder! Go!"

"HAIL KISHTAN"

The one last shout and they headed off through the rift leading to the planet on which they would train.

Having some free time again, I took out the dragon egg and identified it as well.

[Black dragon

Description: Black dragons are known to be the dragon's kings and only one to be born every century. This can be bound to someone, normally the father of the dragonling

Effect: Grants you the chance to acquire a dragon as a battle pet

Requirement: be the parents of the dragon, be the receiver of the egg that was gifted to you

Required to hatch: Energy source that lasts long enough for the dragon to hatch]

Knowing exactly where to find an energy source, which would take players months of searching, was completed by me in less than five minutes and like every time, when I visited the chamber with the source core, I walked through that narrow passage. "I really should widen it up a bit" Arriving at the core, I stretched out my hand and the core got a liquid shell, allowing me to press the egg into it. The abundant green streams of energy that swam in there, seeped into the egg and it got cracks. A black snout looked out of the cracks, breathing in further life energy. The green streams got less and less and suddenly the chamber around me started to shake. Immediately I pulled out the dragon baby together with its shell. The ground stopped shaking and stabilised again.

[Pet has hatched: Black Dragon King; Set a name]

- Onyx

[Pet has absorbed too much life energy: World tree is weakened]

[Black Dragon King: Onyx

Level: 1

Health: 1'000'000

Intelligence: 1'000 (In the pet's stats it shows how much mana it has and how high its adaptability is)

Strength: 50

Agility: 60 (with wings)/ 30 (with legs)]

It was a beautiful example of a dragon. Wide shoulder, scaly skin, with black, shining scales, that reflected light and not yet matured wings. The only reason why I didn't mature it directly with a fasten time spell was, because it looked way too cute with its little and deep, black eyes, embedded in skull that fit in my hand, which I had to say, was actually way to big togive an accurate measurement. So, the inner handarea was a big as one squaremetre. With that little, 2 metre long dragon on my head I walked upstairs and to the upper most chambre, where my personal room was. I lied on my bed, which had been transported from the source chambre to my personal room by some dryad maids, which I hadn't seen yet, but had been spawned here since a millenium. I really needed to get to know my castle. Playing with the little dragon in the bed until he fell asleep, I try to communicate with him. But to no result yet. Then I headed out of the chambre after he fell asleep and I too headed to the new world, Area 51, wanting to use the equipment I was gifted and try out skills I hadn't used yet. Maybe look a bit after the behemoths being 'tortured' by the dryads.
