Spawning in front of a fish face

Now that I had a determination of what to do, which didn't include searching for an exit out of the game together with my current abilities, I searched up my surface and typed on it for a few hours and under the countless options it offered me, I found the one I had been searching.

Extraction of racial traits

Clicking on it, a few sub-details popped up and those were important details and mattered much, as it was about which traits to extract and to which point it should be extracted. There, I put out everything except for a few things, which included my stats that didn't go the slightest bit down and some of my abilities that were categorised as active creator's skills.

The strange thing about my stats though, was that although the passives were out or more like disabled currently, their effect seemed to have permanently been activated in my genes and now in this form, in which the actual traits were removed from my body parts, I could turn them on and off.

This was the most important thing currently. Second, I needed to get to a good place and maybe enjoy Earth how it was before the apocalyptic meteor crashed on the planet. 'Mmmh… yeah, I should definitely do that. But where?'

'Aaah, these difficult problems... where to go when there are so many places that are to be visited. Truly an awful life with all these horrible decisions to do. All the people on that planet are probably hating me right now and suffer against the wild life... nah they should be ok.'

A tiny sliver of guilt overcame me and I wanted to take a peak, but accidentally didn't click on the spectator mode, but on the spawn button. That was a bad situation, because certainly that situation didn't want to sit well in my mind.

POV: A random guy at the situation

On a beautiful beach in the middle of the ocean, a guy that was soaked in water, sand and blood, ran for his dear life. However, the features on his face clearly spoke for themselves that he hadn't had a good life since he started in the game. His eyes were sunk in and he was skinny so that one was able to see the bones beneath the cuts on his skin that leaked the red liquid. But... He saw things positive... :)

"I hate that f*cking game company... I hate that f*cking beast behind me... And what I hate the f*cking most is my f*cking life! How can my life be so messed up?"

I turned around and saw that the vile beast on two legs had caught up a bit and I tried to run even faster, if that was even possible. Behind my back, I could already hear the exhaled breath of that damn beast.

How come that just after transferring from the actual game world, I firstly landed in space where I could choose where to land and now that I landed all alone on a damn island called Alcatraz with sharks and even nastier monsters in it. But that wasn't even the worst thing for me to happen there, although it might be a bit of a two edged knife to speak about it like this. Inside the ruins of the jail, I found the remains of graves and in it were spirits of people who followed Al Capone into the grave (I made a little word play... it might be a bit crude though :-) ) and had quests for me which weren't really quests, but tests like the legacy trials all those great empires and kingdoms and stuff had left behind. Fortunately, I was the only one on Alcatraz. Unfortunately for me was, as well, that I was the only one. I missed human contact.

After a few weeks of trying, I succeeded and I wanted to get off the island. I knew that there were sharks in the water, but I hadn't really taken into consideration that it was a game yet; and that there were really bad monsters lurking out there. And that's how I landed in the situation I am currently in. I tried taking a swim to the other side with a few planks that I had bounded together, but poor me got interrupted after only a few metres into the sea and a biiiiiig fin showed in the water. At least as tall as a human, and it went on in my direction.

As soon as I realised that it was a bad idea, I turned around and paddled back to the shore. I arrived there and ran away from the water, as I recalled one of those movies where a killer whale had sprung out of the water and bit into his victim to tear it into the water. And how my life got as fucked up as it is now, was that instead of returning to the deep sea, it got closer and closer and suddenly two big eyes stared at me from below the surface and gradually got lifted up higher in the air than it normally would be possible. Towering over me, I looked down the fishy body and saw two human-like legs sprouting out and then the hunt began, where fish hunted man, not the usual way around.

Now my situations got even worse. After running for at least five hours straight, my stamina was nearly empty, at 3% and the system had recommended me at least five times to relax and calm down to rest so that my stamina could refill. And it even had the audacity to mock me by saying that I should rest as you never knew when there was something dangerous nearby.

Suddenly, a bright light shone in my eyes and a suppressing aura enveloped my entire body and forced me to kneel. The sudden stop in momentum threw the gigantic fish monster behind me out of its own momentum and while it tried to kneel and stop at the same time, a funny reaction occurred so that it fell over itself and by sheer accident swallowed the man in front it, ME, its prey. I sighed.

:::::::::::::::::

I landed in on sand and as soon as I felt the sand, I exclaimed: "What the -- This isn't the spectator mode!"

I opened my eyes slowly and when I saw that I had landed in front of a gigantic, slimy fish-head that stared at me; I got the fright of my lifetime.

"Holy shit, what's wrong with you?! You can't scare me like that you little fuck face!" Then I noticed a struggle in the throat of the now kneeling fish-man who doesn't look at all like the merfolk, but more like an overgrown fish. "What is that in your throat you stupid b*stard?"

I had to somehow vent my shock, and I did that by insulting the poor fish in front of me that still stared dumbly at me.

Then it dawned on me: 'I had to turn off my aura that caused all of them to kneel and worship me. Stupid me.'

Next thing that happened was the fish face spit out the man and it retreated back into the sea, slowly and fearfully watching me so I didn't sneak attack him on his retreat. Which human wouldn't attack such a beautiful exemplar of a humanoid fish monster such as himself - What a narcisstic fish.

The man that had crawled back roughly stood up as well and tried to retreat as well. He too had felt the aura, but only dampened, since he was stuck in the throat of that big fish. And that old man that stood in front of him didn't look trustworthy at all with his creepy smile on his face.

It is too bad, that I had developed a few psychic powers after my trip in my head for a few weeks and could now understand people's thoughts except they had an immunity against it.

His thoughts about me made me smile just the more and the next thing I said, together with that smile, gave him the creeps.

"Come on little boy, let's have some fun..."
