A Constant Smile

Kella and Arely talked for a while then it was time for them to go.

Kella walked back into the school and down a hallway to a door. " they said it's right behind this door but I heard the places are all over the world and used to be isolated. Well, I guess they still are since only people in the project can go there. Anyways how can it be behind a door." Kella slowly opened the door but it felt as if someone pulled him in?

" hun? Wait, isn't this an apartment." Kella looked around. He turned to check on the door he just opened but it was gone and replaced with the entrance of the building. As he looked outside there was glass and rubble everywhere. Dust filled the air yet people still walked down the streets like it was nothing. Kella stared at the site with fear. " if you keep looking outside you'll just feel more hurt. So now we know this isn't the place for the kind-hearted. I think everyone's been corrupted some way. Our room number 411 and heard we have a roommate. I wonder how messed up they are. Let's go." Akia said as he tried to get on an elevator that didn't function.

Once they made it to there room Kella hoped that their roommate wasn't there but sadly they heard a big thump on the door before the even touched it. "look I don't feel like having a roommate so if I were you, I'll leave. That is if you don't want to be turned in to ashes." the man roared. " Oh. I'm ok were not looking for trouble I get it and im not ready to see how fire feels on my skin so ill just go." Kella said slowly backing away. " wait, are you, Killa! What the hell are you doing? Get in here!"

" oh, Hi Lane so does that me we can stay with YOU! " Kella yelled as four very small but rapidly fast kemono flew right up to him. They were the length of Lane's arm. " hey! Leave him be and yes you can stay my brother but call me Rapid we're ever you are. Sorry there like feisty piranhas. But they gave me the name Rapid. So I'll deal with it. They will protect you if they know you are with me. That's just the way they say hi. I think. Your things are on the table and I call the bed by the window. Oh and warning that so-called gift is meant to tell you your greatest weakness and strength. Kella looked at his gift. It was a mask that looked like the things the doctors were but it was black and made from cloth. Kella eyes widened as he looked at the design. It was a smile that stretched across the mask. With sharp teeth covered with blood.

Kella put it on and turned to Rapid and Akia. " well I kind of like it. The way it only covers your nose and mouth. You have the face of a pampered pet but the mask gives off a warning that you can bite." Rapids said as he saw Kella face, he clearly hated it. " put it on and keep it on whenever can. I think it's apart of who you are. It's been with you in your past and present and probably in your future. Although think you know that more than me" Kella looked like he just got punched and was on the verge of tears. After hearing Akia's words.

" We should go to bed. We have a big day tomorrow. Goodnight ya all." Rapid said as he laid in his bed.
