Chapter 1

I didn't know how I got here or why a tribal tattoo just "appeared" on my right hand. I was just minding my own business in my home, in my pajamas (blue pants and white shirt). I was just coming out of the bathroom when I'm immediately assaulted by the smell of moss ad and the freshes air that ever graced my nose.

Gone was my home, in its place, was a "dead" for the lack of better words "Appartaments"

"What the fuck?!" are the only words that came to mind. I mean, what the hell is going on? a moment I'm washing my hands and the other I'm teleported to another building?! Was my city even capable of such things?

"I'll be damned if my country was even remotely connected to this"

Ignoring my train of thought I take a look around my self, I'm in a small apartment if it could be even called that, the walls were, for lack of better words "rotted" moss and grass grew all over them, a small windows on the side and lacking any sort of door.

Deciding that, standing around looking into an empty room, wasn't the best way to find out where I am, I decide to go out.

"This is getting ridiculous don't tell me this is some sort of "Isekay" situation haha-!" My breath was stolen when I came face to face with a very, Very familiar city.

All of the buildings where empty, lacking any sort of window and were more or less in the same condition the room I was before.

I can't forget it because it was one of the most recent games I've played… the problem is, I've never really finished the game!

"Just wait a goddamn minute, I can't just jump the gun and assume I'm I've jumped between space and time and got into a world that existed only in a game"

Cleaning the sweat from my face I start descending the, fortunately, intact stairs.

"But even if that was the case, then I should get out of this fucking city before shits go down the drains..."

Then it came to mind the death of one of my favorite ( and secretly crush) 2B, she was just too precious. unfortunately, that was the point where I left the game.

"Thought, I hated 9S that damned shota was useless in anything other then Hacking, I hated his playthrough and the fact that he was constantly being the mademoiselle in distress. Hell even on the cover of the game he was being carried around in a princess carry"

*sigh* "Not that I've any right to judge him, I am even weaker than him. AH now that I think about it, robots fighting with swords are a bit silly."

Smirking I imitate a sword katas and the unexpected happened.

A sword made out of "shadow" closely resembles "Virtuous Contract" one of the first weapons in 2B possession.

"Uh? So I can make swords? Neet!"

*pot* *pot* *pot*

"Uh? what is that sound?" Turning around I came face to face with my first Machine. It's one of the smallest types, with a bucket body and a sphere head, It was hopping my way… one jump at the time, it was pretty damn slow, so I ad a little bit of time to change my weapon of choice.

Changing from "Virtuous Contract" a spiked war hammer, I try testing its weight I find it heavy enough.

*pot* *PO-CRASH* "That's right you bucked bastard, no more hopping around uh? that sound was starting to grind at my ears."

My trow was just enough to crack open the rotten metal of his head, I'm lucky he was the first one I've found around here until I've become proficient with this weapon creating ability my chances of surviving around here are pretty slim.

"Damn If only I was stronger-UGH!" a scalding heat coming from my right hand let me know that the tattoo I was ignoring until know, wasn't a normal Tattoo at all and it was doing something.

Fortunately, the pain didn't last long and in its place was a… vitality? that the best way I can describe it.

"Damn, I feel stronger now, I feel like I can swing my war hammer with more strength now!" Testing my theory on another Machine I start searching for them.

Twenty minutes, 25 Machines and a moose later, I came back with my theory confirmed. My… stealing? I guess I can call it that, gives me the ability to steal an aspect from the enemy when I kill it, it has to be something the being have though like I can't take "Helth" or "Regeneration" from a common machine, I can just take Strength, Agility, Logical thinking or stuff like that.

Tired and hungry I drag the dead body of the moose (which I've taken Regeneration from) in the clearing where I've killed the last few Machines and bussy myself in searching something to start the fire.

A few branches later and I had my moose all cooked. Once I have my stomach full I go to sleep in one of the little "rooms" on top of one of the buildings.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Like that, 2 weeks go by. The young man called Vincent Ross now having packed some serious muscle without looking like a gorilla, his brown hair have grown a little bit past his chin covering one of his brown eyes.

I had various encounters with the local Androids, some problems accrued because of my, "habit" of sleeping in the open and keep killing/eating the local moose and Boars.

Wanting to keep a friendly relationship with one of the last sapient (and good-looking) "creatures" on earth I answered a little of their question, things like 'I eat because I like it' and 'I'm an older model' for not arousing to many suspicions.

Or at least that was the plan, but you need to know that I have this bad habit of cracking my fingers when I'm nervous, well usually this wouldn't be a problem but seeing that I've done it before a pair of Androids (near the encampment), which I remind myself of, do not have a heartbeat or even need to breathe even less the need of "bones", What I've just done look mightily suspicious to them, but not on the level of thinking I'm human.

I just had the huge misfortune of doing it just when Devola and Popola were getting out of the camp. Those two were one of the last Androids coming from the era where humans were alive, or at least the knowledge of them was useful, a knowledge that Androids of these days don't bother even learn or check with the girls.

Now here I stand before two very wide-eyed redheads, with my knuckles pressed against my palm and with an expression that could be described as 'Caught with the hands in the cookie jar'

Once I realized I've busted myself I turn-tail and ran into the urban jungle without looking.

"W-WAIT PLEASE"

The desperate cry of Popola pierces through the air, stopping me. Never in my life did I hear someone scream with such anguish and hope. Nor did a girl ever did express so much emotion to me, an alone twenty-one years old that has never been in a relationship and only lived with his mother was enough to make me stop.

The next thing I know was a soft but 'heavy' weight on my back and two arms circling my torso. Thanks to all enchantment my power given me, I didn't even 'felt' the crushing hug, just the soft skin and the pleasant cool feel of her body.

"Y-You are a-a-alive *sob* I-I'mm sorry I f-failed *sob* humanity uuhh *sob*"

*Sigh* I never dealt with crying girls before, I don't know what to do in this situation uh. I get it, I just need to tell her what she needs to hear and I go from there!

Turning around while still being held into her arms, I pat her long red hair.

"I won't pretend to know what happened to the others, I can only say that, whatever happened in the past, stay in the past, ages already have passed since the last humans on earth have perished, Project Gestalt was doomed since the start"

And that was the truth, Separating the soul from the body and then reinsert them into Replicants' bodies when the White Chlorination Syndrome would have ended to avoid having their body transformed in salt. The fuckers just didn't know that the soul could and should never separate the two for too long or they just lose sense of themselves and 'die' a true death.

...Or at least that's what I've speculated based on the lore of the game.

The hug has DEFINITELY gone long enough I didn't know I have a problem staying in the presence of a beautiful lady for a prolonged period of time, what did you know? you learn something new every day!

Noticing that by now all of the androids of the camp had come out and start understanding what the hell it was going on I detach Popola gently but firmly from myself and take three-step back. "So don't worry your pretty head over it anymore, Okgoodalrightby--!"

Sprinting full speed in the opposite direction of the crowd, leaving indenture on the asphalt with my feet I quickly made my way in the desert, over there shouldn't be anyone.

'Goddamnit, I wasn't that embarrassed since my elementary school days' What the hell is wrong with all those people making easy to flirting with your game crushes!!? My heart was about to give out even with all this enchantment.

'Women are dangerous! It doesn't matter what race, I see…'
