Teacher Xiao Fan

Following Xiao Fan's recruiting of Du Lan to his cause and converting her to praying Cao Cao as her deity, he led her back to the room he had come from.

Inside the room, they came was already starting to fill by the smell of a dead animal.

However, the animal in question made Du Lan's eyes to pop out a bit as she saw the source of the stench.

The very thing that had started everything was in front of her.

¨Were did you get that rat?¨ She asked while passing Xiao Fan with quick steps, wanting to take a better look at the carcass.

¨I killed it a day before we met around the waterfall¨ He kept some of it a secret while he also came over and started to cut a piece for her.

Although Du Lan had eaten meat before unlike Xiao Fan, she still eagerly took the piece cut out by him.

Meat was still luxury for her, yet before she started to stuff the piece into her small mouth, she inquired some more ¨Was it hard to kill?¨

¨No I threw a few hundred kilos on it, and its spine gave up immediately, but it was a mutant!¨ Xiao Fan might hide some useful things like his hiding place, but something like this could be exchanged to honesty with her.

Only thing Du Lan expressed back was a nod as she tried to act like a lady while ripping raw meat with her teeth.

When she got the first bite inside her stomach, she felt a strange power surging from her stomach to every muscle in her body.

Then bit by bit, her muscles felt a wave of heat running through them, feeling this Du Lan touched her hands and stomach as the burning sensation went over them.

To her, it felt like the temperature around them had increased ten folds as small sweat drops started to form on her body.

On the side, Xiao Fan clarified everything that was happening to her body ¨You just took some of the rat's energy to improve your muscles by quite a bit. If you felt a burning sensation in your heart, you are a cultivator, but you didn't...¨ He began her first lesson.

As he had also gone over the process of becoming a Body realm cultivator, the feeling and when of it was still explicit inside his memories.

For him, it had started during his sleep when suddenly, a surge of blood rushed to his heart while heat around and in the heart itself became unbearable.

The pain then outright ripped him from his sleep, throwing him into a panic because something like this was happening to him.

Yet it quickly became evident that no one else was inside his cell, and he was also fine.

It had made him think for a moment, but when noting he was fine, he went back to sleep.

He would notice the real extent of the even the next morning, as when he woke up again and tried to get up, did his new powers complicate it.

As the first move he made with his hand had sent himself flying against the wall of his cell.

That was due to the power change in him had been too massive and using the same amount of power was now completely different.

However, the hitting of the wall itself didn't hurt him at all either.

The only hard thing during that time had been him trying to get comfy with the power.

Telling about his experience Du Lan became waiting for the rush of blood to her heart that Xiao Fan told about, but like he said this wasn't the time for her.

¨No I don't feel anything in my heart¨ She said as the flow of heat in her body became more distant at a noticeable rate.

¨Don't you worry about it took me years to get to this point¨ he took a break and chuckled ¨But follow me, and in a week you will become a cultivator!¨

This did make questions rise in her head, but she decided to let them be because for once Xiao Fan wasn't ordinary, plus the random voice she had heard wasn't simple either.

Therefore she decided to follow him with everything he did or said, as being inside here was already bad enough, and the only thing good here was being under a human that was willing to help her and not a monkey which might do horrible things to her.

There was nothing to lose right now, and everything had started by her hand; these things together were enough for her to place her faith on him.

Then accordingly to her plans, she said ¨Better mean what you say¨ While going for another piece of meat.

¨I'll try to keep my promises¨ While also feasting on the rat before it would turn bad.

.....

Tomorrow inside the storage room.

Rest of the day went normal with one change of Du Lan training with him momentarily.

Momentarily only as she could only keep up with him for an hour before collapsing on the ground, leaving Xiao Fan to think what to do with her.

His decision, in the end, led to Cao Cao ripping more of his hair, as Xiao Fan's decision was simply to drag her on the ground to the side so that she wouldn't block his training anymore.

That was all that happened yesterday, while right now, Xiao Fan had the most promising monkeys in the tribe before him.

Every monkey here had been handpicked by Uruk to take part in his new order.

Uruk himself when hearing about his idea had been firstly very suspicious, as one should be as Uruk could tell the outline of Xiao Fan's plan.

And Uruk had seen this before and even if Xiao Fan could only attain a few loyal mutants to his side would that smell trouble.

Getting around this fear of the monkey Chief, Xiao Fan needed to argue with Uruk the whole morning before they agreed that Uruk could come to the class himself or send someone there to watch for him.

Uruk, of course, picked the first one for curiosity and due to the importance of this.

Meanwhile, the young monkey students seeing their Chief just behind them attending the class were trying their best to listen to Xiao Fan and then show their prowess before Uruk.

Because of Uruks presence teaching the class was exceedingly smooth, as no monkey even stared away from him for a moment.

Too easy for Xiao Fan's liking as the group was now too big. He had never even thought about teaching everyone. His plan had included the dropping of all monkeys who didn't listen to him.

However, now that Uruk was here, no one wanted to leave nor show any disappointment that would allow such moves.

Furthermore soon the monkeys realised that Xiao Fan was giving good information.

They weren't stupid, so they listened to everything when Xiao Fan was speaking about cultivation speed increasing methods.

Adding this with the presence of Uruk, every monkey then became an example student quietly listening to Xiao Fan teaching them, yet still, a problem started to occur.

The monkeys were showing signs of wanting to leave, though they didn't want to leave as a result of something negative.

They wanted to leave to attempt breaking through either by beating each other until they would force themselves to turn into mutants or they would go hunting for animals or even a mutant for meat.

While they started thinking about excuses to leave to test these revolutionary methods, there in the back of the class was Uruk.

And he also was now thinking about everything he was saying with a stern expression for Xiao Fan had also opened him new ways to become stronger.

Uruk had never truly worked for his cultivation due to his story.

Uruks story was one of extreme luck. This was magnified how there were very few Body Activation realm mutants inside this forest while he had come one through sheer luck.

Uruk's way of becoming one of the top people here was that one day he stumbled upon a herb.

Knowing nothing about what the herb was, Uruk had still felt a need to eat this herb which he did and eating the drug he felt a massive power spike immediately hit him.

The herb was surely something from a different place as it then gently pushed Uruk to become a Body Activation mutant from zero cultivation.

This was Uruk's great story of suddenly becoming a top player in the mountains, but while it was a great blessing, there was one big problem for him.

This reason also explains the reason why there are grade and realm differences around the world.

Lacking knowledge on how to improve is the reason.

Meanwhile, Xiao Fan knew everything from the Book of Cultivation, Uruk didn't know any way to improve anymore.

And who would have anything close to the Book of Cultivation around here? No one of course, and being monkeys they only had a small chance to figure new things about their cultivation which would after few generations be forgotten.

For example, Uruk would have never been here without his lucky encounter.

Even Xiao Fan knew this reason from personal experience.

But now he would shamelessly use this as his trump card every time he could, and why not? A god had given him tools form him to dominate, and he should be dammed if he didn't capitalise on that.

However, he neither couldn't hide the information from everyone as no kingdom could be held alone by the power of a king alone or even becoming one alone was impossible.

King would always need armies and subordinates that would listen to his commands. And what was the best way to gain someone's loyalty? It was, of course, raising and providing them yourself from the start as a king would do.

Xiao Fan would need to over the years rise his own troops to hold land and gather resources to further his cultivation faster.

One might also do this alone for a while and to some degree, but that person wasn't someone like Xiao Fan who didn't want to stop at some small world and its knowledge.

There was no reason for him doing so, he felt that doing everything alone would end in failure and that he might be able to at the top of this world alone but what about the next place could one do it in Qi realm? Then the next realm?

Cao Cao himself didn't rule everything alone either, and even at his level, there were endless wars that none of the gods were fighting alone, they all had advisors generals champions and others doing their bidding.

Xiao Fan simply had one up on everyone that being the benevolent god Cao Cao who would happily give him books filled with knowledge unprecedented in this place.

This in mind he could cultivate other people from the bottom with him; he wouldn't need to hire mercenaries or recruit shady people to stab him in the back later or die alone surrounded by an enemy army facing death after thousands of cuts.

Xiao Fan must raise generals and companions of his own from different walks of life and status, giving him the experience to tackle any problem he would face in the future.

Even Du Lan would be one as her skills with the bow weren't low.

Du Lan had skills he didn't know where to find better. She had very much so sneaked up on a cultivator like him who had a superior hearing so sharp that if wanted, he could hear everyone breathing in this room, and yet somehow Du Lan a mortal had made her way behind him without him noticing.

Then there were her skills with the bow and arrow, her shooting an arrow from a bow made from some random wood could penetrate his skin made him think how much could a mortal woman draw a bow.

And what if she was given a good bow? Would her arrows go through houses or town walls then? Could she become a catapult on the move? And if Du Lan had been on the same level as him during the ambush?

In that case, Xiao Fan must have died from her arrows on top of the waterfall, so having her on the same side did raise the expectancy for what was to come, and that was only what he knew about her currently.

On the other hand, the monkeys in the room had now been introduced how they could strengthen themselves for a lifetime, and they felt awe towards Xiao Fan who had taught them about all the wonderful things outside their dull lives inside the cave.

And when they thought about who to listen and worship, why wouldn't they do so towards him who had given them all of it?

However, for now, they started having reasons why they should go on the warpath. They now wanted to get more living space; they now wanted to hunt animals and gather the materials Xiao Fan had told about to them.

Of course, this would mean danger, but what wasn't a danger? Were there no dangers right now?

They started to lust for war! And Xiao Fan didn't notice this much and let it slip, a mistake he would soon be correcting himself.

So the monkeys came to a silent conclusion to pry more teaching from Xiao Fan, but Xiao Fan had other things still in store from them in a gift prepared for all of them as after his education stopped Du Lan came to the room with a tray full of meat.

From the moment the rat had been killed was so long that it started to rot, and Xiao Fan plus Du Lan together could never finish it before it would spoil.

To get something out of it, Du Lan had suggested to offer it as a gift for his students.

¨This is a meat of a mutant rat that I have killed! For showing that I'm right, you can now test my teaching of eating mutant meat!¨ He shouted like he was giving them an opportunity while just dumping things that he couldn't benefit any longer.

Then he threw a piece of meat to a monkey close by that no one dared to snatch, but curiously watched the fellow monkey eat the piece of meat.

Soon the same things started to happen that had been seen on Du Lan eating the meat.

The monkey who had eaten the piece of meat started to sweat and to shudder.

Despite the similarities, there was one drastic difference with Du Lan's eating as the monkey grabbed the skin around his heart and collapsed in an unconscious state immediately after.

This was because Xiao Fan had, of course, picked the monkey that was most likely to turn into a mutant with a small amount of beef to demonstrate his method of eating to improve cultivation.

Xiao Fan had picked right as the monkey who was chosen had already one foot into becoming a mutant so now with the meat he would take the other step and become one.

Seeing the monkey who had eaten the meat do the exact thing they all wanted to feel even if there was a pain doing so, as when he woke up would he be a mutant.

Even Uruk himself on the side stretched his neck a bit to see the monkey still twitching.

After a few moments, every monkey slowly took their eyes off him and hovered towards the meat brought to them by Du Lan.

They were monkeys and might not be meat-eaters, but now all of them drooled for this meat that did wonders.

Xiao Fan made a satisfied smile on the podium ¨I will feed every one of you a piece of meat, yet tomorrow I hope that you will be hunting for yourself¨

Also, remember our next meeting here¨ Then he took another piece of meat and gave it to Uruk.

Uruk didn't deny it as he also wanted to feel his strength grow after so many years, and with a nod, he took off towards his own house with a big piece of meat in his hands.

Everyone else seeing their chief run off almost stormed the platter in Du Lans hand, but soon stopped their common interest.

¨Line up!¨ Came a roaring voice from Xiao Fan. This was the reason for their stop, as they had forgotten when their manners a little bit when Uruk had left.

They wanted to go. However, Xiao Fan in front of them was the second in command and no pushover.

If they wanted the meat, they would need to listen to him.

Storming soon turned into a dash to be in front of the line to get their meat.

A few minutes later they had somewhat formed a line or something resembling one, but they were still in a line resembling a formation.

But this wasn't enough for Xiao Fan. He didn't want such type of troops under his command who can't even form a line properly.

The direction he wanted these monkeys to go known to himself would he now start his first troop training session aiming to take them to his direction.
