Body Activation realm!

When both of them took off the lid of their vials at the same time, they were met by the hideous stench of Xiao Fan's concocts, yet neither of them batted an eye.

Du Lan knew better.

Both of them drank their medication and let the slime go down their throats slowly, for there was no gulping this down.

During this, the scent could now easily penetrate their noses all the while their taste buds were going mad.

Du Lan, although didn't say anything, was already wanting to puke the thing out of her mouth, yet didn't because she glanced towards Xiao Fan, who was seemingly taking his dose with zero hesitation or discomfort.

The only thing making this easy for him was that he knew what should happen from all of this, so though the side effect of the smell was bad, he knew that the real torture he would be facing wasn't here but after his successful breakthrough.

He had no idea why his backslash was so severe, and the few people he had talked about it said they hadn't faced anything even close to him, especially Du Lan who didn't seem to have any problem in breaking through grades.

So for him, this was only a small thing to worry about him.

He was the first one to get the slime down enough to gulp it down.

Now done with preparations, he before going to his own world, took one more gaze towards Du Lan since following this moment, he wouldn't be focusing at her at all.

Du Lan also saw him on the bed right next to her and noticed how his skin was starting to ripple; it was stating that his evolution was beginning.

By now, she was still gradually letting the slime go deeper into her throat, and it took much longer for her to gulp it down.

Though she didn't mind, for she could now watch Xiao Fan going in first.

Xiao Fan, who had been the first one to commence his evolution was already sensing how his cultivation that had been in the peak of Body Warming realm sprang to become one of Body Activation realm.

First came the ever so soothing yet volatile gush of blood from his heart racing towards his skin where the rippling started happening.

This was the part that was revealed to any outsider by the skin jumping up and down.

These small jumps on his skin that weren't even a finger in diameter were still exceedingly easy to notice, particularly from places that were covered by clothes.

For the canvas on his robes would constantly be up from his skin, looking as if there was air flowing under his clothes.

The next part of the evolution was unlike the one before, the blood flow was still going on when another feeling began to hit him.

Where a mortal becoming a cultivator, one felt his heart warm up and collapse.

A person breaking into Body Activation realm felt something kin to it inside his head. Thus giving the word activation in Body Activation.

It happened via the blood that had so far been focusing equally to his muscles around him, making them stronger, from his skin would become resilient enough that a standard iron blade would do no substantial harm.

Yet when this part was over, the blood sprang back into his heart, gathering into the chamber of it where it anticipated for the aorta to open up.

When it did all the blood raced again out off his heart, though this time they weren't a chaotic force rushing were they could.

This time it would be one charge towards his brains, negating any other opening or vein where they could flow into.

Somehow the blood actively searched for anything that would take them closer toward Xiao Fan's brain.

At this point, he also felt that inside his body, there were zero drops of blood elsewhere in his body except the head, and it wasn't only a feeling but also the truth.

If one was standing right now, he or she would fall onto the ground due to this but Xiao Fan and Du Lan knowing this were both lying on the same bed their faces turned to watch the other.

Their eyes weren't showing anything, nor could they feel the other, but one could still remember the other being there, which gave strength.

Soon Du Lan, who was feeling only ripples at this point, noticed how Xiao Fan's hand gave up on hers and parted with hers since it couldn't keep a grip on it anymore.

Noting this, she, for a moment, grabbed more firmly onto his hand to keep the hold.

However, she went blank only moments after, for she was suddenly hit by the effect of blood flowing towards her head.

Back onto Xiao Fan who was now feeling how miles upon miles of blood vessels inside his mind were being expanded by a very little.

They raced inside his head and somehow, even if there was more and more blood coming towards his brain, there was no blood going back to his heart.

What more, the amount of blood inside his head was decreasing.

All of the blood that had rushed into his brain was ending up somewhere, or at least they wouldn't be seen anywhere in his blood flow anymore.

It took around a half an hour before Xiao Fan was feeling that the blood was calming down.

Despite waiting so long, during this half an hour he hadn't move an inch, well, more accurately, he couldn't move any part of his body.

He reasoned that one would need to wait for all the blood inside one's head to stop before the next part would begin.

He had reasoned so because the rush itself had only carried for five or so minutes and at that point, most of the blood cells had found their own spots while others continued to journey around the endless miles of veins.

Most likely in search of their spot.

That search had taken twenty more minutes, for then he himself felt that some powers of a Body Activation realm cultivator had opened.

This new power he was now holding was the power to feel things more clearly, much more clearly.

Right now, this wasn't in any way helpful, but this allowed him to around a hundred or so blood cells that were still circulating inside his head.

He also felt that these hundred blood cells were the only blood cells that he had inside his whole body!

His body was working on only hundred or so blood cells, yet he didn't try to panic to this nor the feeling that his body that had gotten cold for he trusted the book that told him not to be scared when feeling this.

Anyway, he couldn't do anything, so what was there to fear? It will succeed or not, and that will not depend on him.

Pondering, however, was a different thing, and he would be sure to do that.

Pondering it with the new powers, he felt very much so being trapped inside a hollow husk or being a speck of dust in vast nothingness that was filled with darkness.

In the darkness, he could move around, himself being the speck of dust, moving around didn't accomplish him anything, nor did he knew that was he in actuality moving.

Maybe it was all a dream, maybe the reality? He had no idea, the body cultivation was said to be brutish, but was it so? Could there be more to it than brute force and sense improvements?

He had thought this many time before, but being the speck of dust in this vast nothingness, he didn't try to think about the answer to it too much.

Doing so would bring him no closer to it.

He only pondered about it and in his opinion moved the speck of dust that was himself around this place that he was currently in.

For Xiao Fan, the all-encompassing darkness he saw was just things he didn't know yet.

Yet one day he would like to realise what all this darkness was. That was his dream; to know everything.

He knew very much so that knowing everything was impossible, yet he wouldn't give up on that.

For if one didn't even try to go for that why live? He thought.

Just because it was impossible in words, that didn't mean it was impossible in theory.

What if amongst all of that knowledge there is something that holds the point to unravel everything?

This vast emptiness presented to him the things he didn't know, or all of the information that there is in the universe.

This vast emptiness was now being travelled by him, looking for the answer to everything.

Maybe it wasn't here, but if one doesn't look, how can one find it?

He needed to track the vast unknown to find the enlightenment, the original piece of the puzzle that should be somewhere, or maybe not.

Thinking that he was also thinking about something else, would this place have other people?

Everything was in the vast universe, so maybe he could find Cao Cao beaming here.

If he found him, would he be a speck of dust? Would a god be something more corporeal? Would he be a small light?

Surely a god knew something, so Cao Cao shouldn't be a completely misguided speck of nothingness.

In the end, he decided that Cao Cao was most definitely just another speck of dust, he couldn't know everything after all, much less be everything.

Thinking so he still kept, in his opinion, moving.

Although how hard he wanted to find it, he wouldn't find it now.

For the last drop of blood inside his brain had now finally found the place to settle down.

It was the time to get back into reality from this plane.

Preparing for this, he stopped the figurative exploration of the all-encompassing darkness and came to focus on the last drop of blood.

And like all the others, the blood drop suspended itself for a moment.

Then suddenly it catapulted itself towards the wall of a vein and became one small part of this enlargened brain network that was a Body Activation realm cultivator that went by the name Xiao Fan.

All of this had taken over two hours from when Xiao Fan had commenced his breakthrough into Body Activation realm and done so successfully.

For his senses had heightened by an enormous degree.

However, the few senses of his that liked to rebel every time he had a breakthrough would also this time do so, they would rebel.

He knew this seconds after the breakthrough was finished, for he couldn't move his body nor could he open neither of his eyes.

'This is so unfair!' He screamed inside his mind.

But if he wouldn't be cursing his own misfortune of having significantly harsher breakthrough would he be now jealous or stunned concerning his partner's cultivation speed.

For as it was stated before, Du Lan, who had felt his grip tighten and then tried to keep it going herself had also gone blank in her mind.

Du Lan had completely skipped the Fourth Grade of Body Warming realm, straight-up advancing into the ranks of Body Activation realm First Grade just like him.

Though they were separated by the fact that they were in the opposite ends of the First Grade, was it still a major win for Du Lan, who could be said to be a monster because of the speed.

Adding insult to injury, she was completely fine...

Du Lan going through all of it so suddenly had still even woken up an hour before Xiao Fan had.

When she had come up, however, she hadn't even congratulated herself before worrying about Xiao Fan, for he was still out.

Although she knew that he was just breaking through like she had, nevertheless, seeing her loved one just like a dead body didn't really help one's mind.

Not until noticing him getting some warmth onto his body did she rejoiced since he had also succeeded in becoming a Body Activation realm cultivator.

Du Lan hadn't even thought about her breakthrough into the Body Activation realm be now, yet in the reality that she lived in was that a fact.

It was a fact since touching his body could she easily feel where his blood was flowing and how she could also see specks inside his hair; the latter felt a little uncanny to her.

Actually looking at the world with her vision heightened she felt it was too weird and somewhat didn't like it since things that were beautiful before now looked disgusting.

However, she didn't wonder about these things long before getting back to what she should be doing right now.

This thing she had done a couple of times already, so she knew what to do, and so began to order things that required little chewing from the hotel.

Du Lan knew that Xiao Fan was certainly out for some time, and like the times before began to do her job.

This time there was even a bonus to her job, that being that Xiao Fan in a way was a body pillow.
