Now that a breakthrough in the wall had happened, Fei Sun began to aim the spear so that Xiao Fan doing most of the lifting would hit the right bricks.

They needed to be quick and precise, for the wolfs were soon upon them and they couldn't take the risk of the hole collapsing.

Needing to hit just the right place wasn't thankfully too hard since their superior bodies made aiming and thrusting the spear smooth.

Soon they had widened the hole enough for both of them to get through, and when so Fei Sun taking her spear immediately snug through it.

¨Let's go¨ She said halfway through the hole.

Xiao Fan noting that he didn't need to thrust the spear anymore, took a look behind him trying to see where he put his sword.

He did see the Rising Ruler close to him, but there was also a wolf coming at him too.

But even if there were little time, Xiao Fan would take the sword and throw it through the hole together with warning Fei Sun about the action.

Then ducking into the hole himself, Xiao Fan could hear the wolfs paws making noise against the cave floor, coming towards him.

Hoping that he wouldn't be caught by the wolf coming at him, Xiao Fan crawled fast as he could, that being a speed that a mortal could walk at.

Yet still, that didn't seem fast enough as he soon heard the breathing of the wolf just behind him.

He had been too slow.

But just as he was about to turn around to face the wolf, maybe try to kick it off him, something helpful happened.

A long stick pierced the wolf that was just about to bite on his right leg.

A long stick that after a flash came out of the wolf, a wolf that then fell on to the ground dead.

Not thinking about much, Xiao Fan realised this must have been Fei Sun, who indeed was crouching hallway into the hole.

Xiao Fan turning back around, saw her holding to the spear while her other hand was now stretching for him.

¨Why are you so slow¨ She taunted him a little.

¨It was ladies first¨ Xiao Fan replied in the same tone.

¨Come take my hand. Let's go and see what we found¨ She spoke, shaking her hand.

¨Coming, coming¨ Xiao Fan returned as he took Fei Sun's hand which pulled him through the hole.

Getting back up on the other side of the hole, Xiao Fan looked through the hole into the other side.

The first thing he saw was the wolf that had tried to taste him, and behind its corpse, there was the tent camp.

Well, it had been a tent camp, but not anymore. The whole place had been levelled by the wolfs now roaming for any human still trying to hide.

Those trying to hide must be in the minority currently, for the screams were unending and scenes behind the wolf of humans being ripped open were plentiful.

¨We sure did kill those people¨ Xiao Fan noted.

¨Like you care. Weren't we just robbing dead people of their spines?¨ Fei Sun remarked that Xiao Fan shouldn't feel bad at all.

¨You're right. I don't care. Now let's see what they were trying to find here¨ Xiao Fan laughably spoke as he turned around.

Fei Sun didn't mind the smirk on his face at all, she even smirking herself, but she still questioned him one other thing ¨What about the hole?¨

There was the hole they had used, and it was a thing they couldn't just leave open like this. Who knows what might follow them here?

¨Ah right the hole¨ Xiao Fan had already forgotten that thing, his thinking already went over to what there was to gain here.

¨If we collapse the wall it will solve the problem¨ Fei Sun proposed an idea.

¨And if there is no way out?¨ Xiao Fan thought her idea was lacking, to say the least.

¨You have a better idea?¨

¨What if we block it visually?... No that wouldn't do¨ Xiao Fan thought about blocking it visually but already dismissed it himself right after.

The wolfs would notice something so simple.

They began to think a little while listening to the last screams coming from the inhabitants of the camp.

When the screams were already over, and the wolfs were settling down for the night on the ruined camp, Xiao Fan proposed an idea.

¨What if I stay here guarding the door. You go scout at this place¨ Was his proposal.

¨That's good enough I guess¨ Fei Sun said and then turning around she walked deeper into the now more human-made structure.

The place they had come was something else than a cave. All the walls were made out of bricks as if this was some big palace or something.

They didn't know anything about the place so before deciding what they should do with the hole Fei Sun would look around.

Xiao Fan staying by the hole first had an idea to go and get a torch or even better a lamp from the camp.

An idea which he would attempt as he very, very carefully began to traverse the hole to the other side.

When he got to the wolf carcass, Xiao Fan took a look over the beast to see the things which it had hidden behind it.

Luckily there was nothing important it had hidden.

Thanking his good luck, he came out of the hole to the place where the wall was flat.

Xiao Fan knew he had seen a light source just around the mining operation; it might be something the miners had been using as a light.

And he was right as just behind the mining tools there was a lamp still with a flame burning.

His luck really was good Xiao Fan thought as he sneaked by the wall trying to hide most of the shadow that he was making.

When at the lamp, he looking into the camp raised the lamp from the ground and begun to back off.

Continuously looking into the camp, it seemed that no one was coming for him.

The wolfs must be too busy with their trophies, he thought and took the opportunity.

Even when getting back to the other side, he didn't see a single thing vying for him.

The wolfs hadn't seemed to care about him. Not that he minded as he got what he wanted, a light source they could use in this pitch-black place.

He had taken a while though as when he came back and waited for a minute, a figure came towards him from the direction Fei Sun had gone.

The figure that took directions from keeping her hand on the wall ceased doing so when it saw the light.

¨Where did you get that¨ Asked the figure, who coming to light was perceived by Xiao Fan to be Fei Sun.

¨I went and nabbed it from the other side¨ Xiao Fan replied and got up the lamp in his hand.

¨You could have waited for me to cover for you, but whatever. The good thing is that we now have light¨

¨There was no source of light when you went deeper into the cave?¨ Xiao Fan wasn't surprised about this.

¨Nope, no light. But the place seemed promising to me¨

¨Good. Then what are we going to do with this¨ Xiao Fan was happy that it seemed promising, yet there was still the question about their only way out of here.

¨I don't think anything lives here anymore, and knowing that I think we have all the time we need to explore¨ Fei Sun said with a slight smile in her face.

Getting her idea Xiao Fan also smiled a bit ¨As you command¨ And then turned around to collapse the hole.

Without thinking more, he made a broad sweep with his sword, which alone was enough to collapse the hole they had made.

As the hole collapsed behind him, Xiao Fan picked the lamp that he had dropped for a moment ¨Finally we get to the exciting part¨

¨Good swing¨ Fei Sun only complimented his swing as she then joined Xiao Fan, who was walking into the unexplored place.

At this point, both of them knew that they had cut their way out of here. However, they also knew that going back to the sect to talk about this place would only make their share of any loot smaller.

And as Fei Sun said there shouldn't be anything living here, so what was there to go and ask for other people to explore for them.

All this now belonged to them.

With the light in Xiao Fan's hand, they made their way into the place until they came to an intersection that split into three different directions.

¨Right is right¨ Xiao Fan interrupted their usual chatting to note about his decision to take the hallway that was on their right.

Fei Sun didn't say nothing just made some marking to the walls.

Now walking the right path, they came into a hall.

Which was full of shinies ¨Xiao Fan we hit the jackpot¨ Fei Sun spoke so eagerly that she almost couldn't hold herself.

On the other hand, Xiao Fan didn't care at all ¨Do you think that I and by extension my wife needs money?¨

For him, the thought about having more money was funny. Furthermore, they had no way to take them anywhere in the first place.

Fei Sun took a good look at Xiao Fan ¨That's true¨ She agreed with what Xiao Fan was saying.

Earlier she had nabbed 20 000 gold coins from him, yet he had only batted his eye to it, nothing else.

With him around, there was no need for money.

¨Don't worry if we ever need more money we can easily come back here, but for now let's continue¨ Xiao Fan stated while going deeper into the hall.

Fei Sun also took up the pace and walked towards the middle of the room that was beginning to surround them with gold coins.

Coming to the middle Xiao Fan spoke their next action ¨See if there is anything more valuable than gold¨

Speaking so, he dropped his lamp into the middle of the room and then went to look for anything special amongst the coin mountains.

Walking to the sides from where the money began to pile up, Xiao Fan walked the hall until coming to the end of it.

Or more specifically the middle of the back wall, where he met Fei Sun, who had come from the other direction.

¨I see you didn't have any luck either¨ He reasoned from her empty hands.

However, to their luck, there was something in front of them, as in the middle of the back wall, there was a richly decorated coffin.

When they had met here in the middle, both of them had spent more time eyeing for it than they had looked at the other.

Continuing to do so, they walked to each side of the coffin.

¨Sure about this?¨ Xiao Fan questioned that was Fei Sun okay with literal grave robbing.

¨You think I'm going to let you have the things inside for yourself? Laughable!¨ She remarked.

Both in understanding what they wanted, placed their hands onto the top part of the coffin, and then pushed the lid towards the side until it fell onto the floor.

When the top part was pushed off, nothing changed as they were already looking into what was inside the coffin.

There was a sword on top of a skeleton clothed in fancy robes and two books on both sides of the head.

¨Sword!¨ Fei Sun claimed her part.

¨Books!¨ Xiao Fan also claimed his.

Then without more talking, Xiao Fan grabbed the two books into this robes while Fei Sun was having more of a problem.

Xiao Fan getting what he wanted happily asked ¨Is the sword a little too heavy for someone?¨

But the woman trying her best to lift the sword of the corps didn't say anything back to him.

Only after a moment, she straightened her back ¨Leave it here for now. I'll come and test it every time I breakthrough¨ She said.

Her tone wasn't a bid sad. And why should it? The longer she couldn't lift it, the more valuable the sword was.

If she couldn't lift it when she would be a Body Strengthening realm expert, it would be a good sword.

If she couldn't lift it in the Reunion realm? It would be a sword worthy for the sect master.

The heavier, the better she considered as she took the last glance at her weapon before walking back into the middle where Xiao Fan's lamp was.
