Soon Xiao Fan and Fei Sun were already cleaning up their weapons of the wolfs cub they had killed.

Both of them were using the same wolf cub's fur as the napkin to clean their blades as they heard something.

¨Get into cover¨ Xiao Fan whispered as he himself was already taking cover behind a pillar.

It didn't take a second before Fei Sun also came behind the same pillar as they listened to the voice coming closer to the lobby.

¨Didn't the wolfs stop inside that camp?¨ Fei Sun whispered to Xiao Fan.

He still kept his voice down ¨As it seems to be a lone wolf I think she's the brood mother¨ Xiao Fan whispered his own thoughts.

¨Were being way too scared about one wolf?¨ She spoke with a voice much louder than the whispers.

¨Hide for now. We might get out of here without fighting¨ While gesturing to keep the voice down.

Fei Sun didn't seem to like the idea of hiding from a single wolf, but if her partner didn't want to fight what could she do?

Hiding it was at least for now as the owner of that voice they had heard came into the lobby.

Xiao Fan hiding behind the pillar couldn't see the reaction of the wolf, but he sure did hear the howl.

It was loud, so loud that for a moment, both of them lost their hearing, and Xiao Fan with his current problems took it even harder.

Xiao Fan took it so badly that he almost spun out of the cover of the pillar because his head was almost shut down.

The only thing keeping him from not falling into the open was Fei Sun, who when hearing the howl had realised this might happen, and so was ready for it.

Stopping him from falling and pulling him back up she then knocked Xiao Fan's head a little ¨Hey¨ She whispered into his hear as loud as she dared.

Xiao Fan getting things back together shook his head ¨Ugh¨ He voiced.

But Xiao Fan doing so had been too loud that the wolf, who was looking at the dead cubs heard him.

The wolf then immediately sprinted towards the pillar, stopping just on the other side of it.

The two of them hearing this would have taken action if the wolf had taken one more step towards them.

Yet understanding that they hadn't been found, they didn't do so and still waited if the wolf would go and alert the others.

Both of them had their weapons drawn, but they were hoping that the wolf would go outside to tell the other wolfs, which would give them time to sneak past.

Going against their wishes; however, Xiao Fan could see how from his side of the pillar how a snout slowly came up to their side.

He could also see that the size of this snout wasn't normal at all. This snout coming more visible to him was massive.

Realising that they were about to be found in a few seconds, Xiao Fan quietly razed his sword over his body.

And when the sword was up there, he mustering all the power he could let it fall towards this giant snout.

Xiao Fan had deemed that getting out of here wouldn't be possible without fighting, and now that he had such a good opener he wouldn't miss it.

The wolf didn't have any idea that this was happening before the front half of his snout had suddenly fallen off.

Then again came a scream loud enough to make Fei Sun realise what was happening on the other side of the pillar.

Furthermore, the howl rendered Xiao Fan useless again for a moment, and this time would even make him fall to the floor.

Now that the only person in the room who could think well was Fei Sun, she took the opportunity.

She would first come out of the pillar from the other side that she was now flanking the wolf still screaming.

This in mind, she made the quick decision of pulling the spear back to her before the wolf could shake it off her grip.

Still even following this Fei Sun was the only one who had an action phase to use.

The other person on her team was still stunned on the floor.

The wolf now screaming more.

Again using her time being the only one capable of doing anything, she sliced one more wound into the wolfs calf.

Then proceeding to get Xiao Fan back up again, not even seeing how much damage had he done to the wolfs mobility.

Coming to Xiao Fan, who was next to the giant snout, Fei Sun using her wooden end of the spear poked him.

However, she didn't get to do it long before the wolf she had poked the eye off was finally beginning to gather its thoughts.

Well, even the snout that was bigger than his head was enough him to realise that this wolf wasn't the same size as the ones before at all.

This thinking was done at the same time as he struggles to get up still letting Fei Sun spar with the paws of the wolf.

But when he was up was the fight beginning to end.

For when Xiao Fan joined against to fight the wolf, the two on one situation could be seen.

What worse for the wolf was that it didn't have its snout anymore, so its attacks were either done with paws or the body itself.

And even the wolf knew that attacking with those parts only gave the opponent easy targets.

With no snout to make quick attacks that could be pulled back and instead having to rely on swings of its limbs that weren't going to be pulled back, it was harming itself more than the opponents.

Of course, the wolf wasn't going to go without a fight against two cultivators having a lower rank than it; however, enough small cuts would be its doom.

It might not be on the rank of the skeleton; however, it should be the second-best they had gotten from this trip.

¨We already took too long here with killing the cubs, which made this thing come here. We're leaving now¨ Fei Sun refuted.

¨True¨ Xiao Fan commented and checked that he had everything with him before continuing their trip.

Leaving behind them a slaughter of wolfs they walked out of the lobby that then continued into a cave that resembled the one they had escaped the wolf pack.

¨Was that the place that you told me about? Was that the treasure that this mountain holds?¨ He made small talk along the way.

¨I don't think so¨ Fei Sun chatted.

¨Why so?¨

¨It shouldn't be that cheap to get. If that was some grand treasure, it would have been found out much earlier¨

¨Most likely that place has even been found by others already, but like you, they didn't care for the money enough to move it¨

Xiao Fan surely wasn't the only person on the Ohin continent that didn't need to think about a few hundred thousand gold coins.

¨Yeah even we could have heard ourselves doing what we were doing from the other cave¨ She said.

¨Hmm. So we getting the bags or not? I see mine already¨ Xiao Fan spoke, his hand pointed into the snow where a small bag could be seen almost covered by snow.

This time Fei Sun didn't say anything for she was jumping down into the snow like the wolfs had done.

Xiao Fan saw only her long black hair flutter in the snowstorm before jumping down himself.
