¨Okay, I haven't had any sleep¨ Xiao Fan noting how he couldn't think decided that he should go to sleep.

¨What, you going to sleep?¨ Meng Chin, who to Xiao Fan had been leaning the whole time questioned Xiao Fan. No, not yet, she hadn't gotten anything today.

¨Hmm. The last time I slept was err...the day before I went to get those herbs with Fei Sun¨ Xiao Fan reasoned to her why he wanted to sleep tonight.

¨So?¨ Meng Chin replied to him, her tone indifferent.

¨Really?¨ Xiao Fan got a little scared, was she thinking that he would be helping her with something? He hadn't slept for half a week!

However, Meng Chin wasn't thinking of those things. She wasn't that much of a slave driver ¨You don't want to hear an explanation on how sounds and singing can be used in battle?¨ She was weirded out by him not wanting to hear something useful.

¨Oh that¨ Xiao Fan realising what she was talking took a moment to ponder, however, this time sleep won over knowledge. ¨I'll pass on it, for now, master¨ He tried to bribe her off.

Though after that, as he was trying to get from the leaning position, he had been so far Meng Chin didn't let him. She was actively working against him trying to get onto his feet for a moment.

She did so until Xiao Fan said ¨What. What do you want?¨ He had just said to her that he would be going to sleep, not stay here and do whatever, sex most probably.

¨First, don't talk to your Master like that, disciple. Second, stay put, for now, Master here has something that will have you in sleep in moments¨ She said, her hands then easing around him a little.

Xiao Fan felt how her hands came out of the lock they had been due to her using cultivation, but as she had said don't leave, he didn't try to escape her clutches, there was no profit in that, for now, he could only wait.

¨Good. Now lie there and close your eyes¨ Meng Chin seeing him become more docile by the second guided him to lay on the bench so that his legs were out of the bench while his head was between her thighs.

Okay, this was a spot that Xiao Fan wouldn't try to get out off, he would happily stay here and so shut his eyes and came waiting for what was she wanting to do.

The best sleep also wasn't an understatement since Xiao Fan hadn't honestly ever before slept so soundly, not even in the embrace of Du Lan could he be this calm and comfy when waking up.

'That's some sleep one would pay for' Xiao Fan, waking up noted to himself. He still kept his eyes closed, however, his eyes might be closed, but he could feel that he had been moved during the night.

The pillow wasn't so soft anymore! He cried when feeling that his head wasn't resting against Meng Chin's endless thighs anymore.

¨What, my bed isn't good enough for you?¨ Said the owner of this bed, who also saw that Xiao Fan had certain muscles going up and down, immediately giving away his thoughts to her.

¨That's a creepy amount of... you know, please stop doing so in the future¨ Xiao Fan responded and then turned away so that his back faced the direction which from she had been talking.

¨Well, I had never tried doing something like that, so I figured to try it out¨ Meng Chin had thought this would be something cute or tease to say, yet Xiao Fan had taken in as creepy.

Xiao Fan still wanting to sleep further murmured something out of his mouth ¨Some personal space please¨ Xiao Fan noted why he thought Meng Chin was creepy saying that.

Cao Cao could be his big brother, who was always watching, knowing his next and all pasts thoughts. The same thing with his lover? Yeah, that would be too much for him.

¨Got it¨ Meng Chin noted to herself that watching the slightest movements of the other was creepy for Xiao Fan. However, after noting that she got back to getting Xiao Fan.

In her mind him being in the corner of the bed trying to get another sleep going on was unacceptable, she had been so nicely waiting for him to wake up only to be dismissed? Yeah, not happening, she reasoned.

Then to get Xiao Fan? Well, that was easy, simply grab his hand, a couple of moves from it so that there were the right incentives for him to keep his eyes open and done!

¨Are you ready to learn about singing?¨ Meng Chin asked after getting Xiao Fan into the correct position.

Xiao Fan, having been manhandled by a woman like this in bed, opened his eyes when hearing those words ¨Are you ready to learn? I'm always ready for that¨ He opened up. Though when he opened up in front of him, there were some other incentives.

Calming, Stunning, those were the ones he had come across, then there were morale spells varying for attack and defence, taunting, scaring, summoning, confusing, the types of songs seemed to be endless, the only stop in them was the imagination, and of course, would they work.

When the list was over Xiao Fan, chose to ask the most interesting one out of the bunch, summoning. That sounded cool and useful, for who wouldn't want to have something fight your battles for you.

¨Summoning animals to fight for you? Are you on something? That is not at all how summoning works¨ Meng Chin replied to him asking.

¨Summoning, it is in the name itself, summon something!¨ Xiao Fan elevated his voice of tone.

¨No that's beast taming or something, completely different. The closest you would have to your effect with songs is singing some beast from the forest, but those wouldn't be taking sides¨

Then before Xiao Fan could say anything more, she explained what summoning was.

Though his first note about taunting songs was a little negative ¨I already have enough enemies, and I don't think I need to learn how to taunt Ye Qi more¨

¨You call yourself so smart, yet you seem to be so negative against anything new coming at your way¨ Meng Chin commented how Xiao Fan simply chose not to be interested rather than listening before deciding.

¨Well, please tell me more about taunting magic¨ Xiao Fan took note and decided to lessen his expectations. Moreover, Meng Chin hadn't before been this energetic when trying to help him, so he shouldn't be burning this bridge like he had done so with many others.

¨Taunting magic. The name might imply it only works when song on others, correct?¨

Xiao Fan nodded.

¨What if I tell you it isn't so, what if you can cast in on yourself?¨ She continued her sales pitch.

¨Why would I taunt myself during a battle?¨ Xiao Fan grew confused, wasn't this going to be something awesome? Taunting yourself? Not awesome.

¨Crazily run into the enemy line without care for safety? Still a big nope¨

¨It seems that I shouldn't teach it to you...¨

She heard him cutting her off, yet she didn't care and continued ¨Because someone here might use it in a situation like that¨ She had a heavy emphasis on the word ¨situation¨

¨Then when do I use it? If not during a battle when will there be a chance for taunt songs?¨ Now having heard that point, Xiao Fan lowered his prejudice against learning such lousy songs.

¨In a duel!¨ She revealed.
