Concocting

Xiao Fan nor Wang Geming said any words after that, and soon Xiao Fan disappeared into the trial space through one of the light pillars on the floor, they had been on.

If a person had cleared one of the trials was there the portal to go back and up in each every level, making the trip Xiao Fan was taking possible. He needed to go somewhere around the level thirty, he didn't exactly remember, but he remembered that some of the levels around there did use alchemy equipment in the background.

¨This is weird¨ He spoke to himself after using the teleporter for some twenty times in succession sparing no time between the jumps.

What was weird? The fact that his body was being warped, as in his hands were glitching and becoming see-through ¨This must have something to do with me using the teleporters too often¨ This was the simple and correct explanation.

Luckily this problem of his also had the simple fix of waiting some time. What more he waited, the more did his form come back to him, and soon he could continue his trip upwards.

Luckily there was no need to take another rest since before his form was beginning to fall apart too much, he got to the levels he wanted to be in, the labs. Around him, there was enough equipment that the metal used to hold all the glass pipes and such in place could be smelted and used to make a mountain of iron.

The number of things here was way too much of an overkill. Like literally, even Xiao Fan didn't know any recipe that would need the use of all these things 'Simply too much' he thought, as he came over and started separating the parts off from the mountain.

Yet the mountain of pipes and globes he constructed could be described by others in the Ohin Continent just as overkill. His potions weren't exactly something brewed in a cauldron and mixed with a ladle; he still needed hundreds of different parts.

After all, this was going to be a potion made for a Body Shattering Realm strong cultivator. A potion on a level that the even the Dynasties would have a hard time concocting let alone discovering. Thankfully Wang Geming was a good boy and didn't ask any of his secrets when it came to alchemy, he just provided the ingredients and like a good boy waited for the results.

The end result which would be something surely good, that Wang Geming was sure of, or if not... well, then he could get to smack Xiao Fan a little, make the golden boy not be so... aggressive and insulting? Towards the Imperial Alchemist.

Nevertheless, enough of what Wang Geming hoped, his potion was just going to be one of many he was making anyway. As like mentioned before, most of the ingredients he had gained from the Prince's hard work would be used to help him, and Zhuan An to improve their cultivation.

Another good point in the fact that Wang Geming didn't dare to question him in alchemy anymore.

Happily thinking of these things Xiao Fan was putting the ingredients from the large sack he had brought with him here into the mountains of pipes and globes he had made. Then from the stands, he had built next to the machine he supervised and directed the concoction happening inside those pipes.

Yes, the mountain was a literal mountain, a mountain high enough that next to it there were scaffoldings which one needed if he wanted to open up valves and lead some of the material into the right direction.

¨Open that one¨ Now that one is done it needs to be shut¨ ¨Spin Spin Spin¨ He had a lot to do during the operation. Alchemy without Qi was very, very basic; there were no fancy things to be done with manipulating Qi and such. In the Body Realms alchemy comes down to handling the machine that works with the ingredients instead of the cultivator.

Yet that was how the things worked, and Xiao Fan didn't complain. He had a massive mountain of stuff that needed his attention every minute of the hour-long process. To him, this was just as cool as the promised alchemy in the Qi Realm.

The work was demanding and rewarding so what could Xiao Fan who liked both complain? Nothing.

And working with the machine, he soon got to reap the rewards he was promised if his work had been done correctly. A reward which like always condensed in the final or the bottom globe of the machine where all the ingredients now in different states gathered to mix into the final product.

¨Succes at first try¨ He noted to himself as he took the potion he had made for Wang Geming. ¨Nectar of Haste. With this, the Prince can fight for a week straight if he so desires¨ He spoke to himself in the empty room.

Nectar of Haste like the name suggested was a potion that made one be hasty in every meaning of the word. One would be swifter, unyielding, relentless, and a bonus was how the potion made one's body to be pumping out blood like hell, so the person who had drunk this potion wouldn't be exhausted until the potion inside of him was exhausted of its effects. And as said before that would be a week of constant fighting.

¨With this Wang Geming is sure to defeat every Prince and Princess out there in one sitting if they come at him one by one¨ Xiao Fan couldn't but appreciate the product he had concocted for a good while before he would start with the other potions.

Other potions which would be for them, and although they were much easier to make Xiao Fan wouldn't be any less interested in making them. These potions would be the ones he would make Zhuan An drink, so there was no space for error.

¨Elixirs of Karna, done¨ The first potion type he concocted was Elixirs of Karna, the ones he had made back in Hangzhou.

¨Elixir of Otso, done¨ The same as Elixir of Karna, yet with a different twist than the Elixir of Karna. Mainly differentiating in the way the potions enhanced one's muscles, as while Elixir of Karna was the all arounder, the Elixir of Otso focused on one's legs more than anything. So something which was for himself and his weak legs.

¨Aid of Ninlil, done¨ Again something which was aimed at him, him who had little stamina. The potion named Aid of Ninlil was a potion that expands one's lungs a bit, and by doing so, helping one's stamina and the recovery of it.

These three were enough for now. Xiao Fan would leave most of the resources he still had left here, hoping that they would stay here, and take only a few of the herbs back to Wang Geming who wouldn't believe that he had used every last herb. There was a limit to peoples stupidity.

¨Now... where to hide the potions?¨ He, before leaving this trial space, had one more problem that he needed to find an answer to, or he would suffer dearly for his actions.

¨Pockets?¨ He put the extra potions in his pockets ¨Yeah, no¨ He shook his head when seeing that the potions bulged out of his pockets as if there was an apple in there.

¨My pant's bottom hems?¨ He tried another place which could hide the potions. The bottom hems, the part of his pants that was just above his shoes. Yet again he shook his head, for that place was even worse than the pockets.

Thinking of someplace to hide the potions, he rubbed his forehead with his hand before coming up with a place that... yeah, he wasn't going to be putting them there, no way. No second thought was given to that option.

Some more rubbing of the forehead later, he finally came up with an actual plan, an expensive plan for sure, but whatever, it was the only way. His plan? Well, it had something to do with the herbs.

¨Snif. This is going to cost more points than I have gathered so far¨ Still, even if he was sure to be using this plan, he couldn't but lament knowing that he needed to ruin some valuable herbs.

¨Sorry little Blue Watermelon¨ His hand went over the herb that costs seven hundred points like he was handling a dying child. A dying child that he needed to cut open with the Rising Ruler, so that he could a hide a potion inside the cavity that he dug into the Blue Watermelon.

The herb might cost seven hundred points, but the Elixir of Karna he was stuffing into it might cost around ten thousand points easily more, so after the initial grievance went past, it didn't hurt him so much. The points weren't his anyway, so what did it mean to him? The grievances he had was about the fact that he needed to destroy a completely fine Blue Watermelon, in the first place, not the points.

Then after having stuffed one Elixir of Karna into the Blue Watermelon, he took another Blue Watermelon out of the bag and did the same thing to hide another Elixir of Karna inside of it. Following that were the other potions he had made, Elixir of Otso, and Aid of Ninlil, that also took their own herbs.

In total, he did destroy a lot of herbs, around ten, but it had to be done. And so not complaining much he left a small garden of herbs to stay and grow in his trial space and took the other stuff with him.

Taking the ¨Back¨ Light pillar was much easier than taking the ¨Up¨ ones since while the latter needed to be used multiple times, the former was a one-time use which always took the user straight into the bottom floor lobby, so no worries there.

So with a flash that the user couldn't see everyone else in the lobby knew, who had come down, and many of them came to see what for had the man needed all those herbs for. The guards hadn't asked any question why, so they could only gather information like this.

¨Did it work?¨ Wang Geming, the person who had the most to lose, asked the question, not asking for the product mind you. He had had his fair share of trouble when asking for an alchemist give him something which he had botched; they didn't like that at all.

¨Of course. What do you think of me? I say something I will deliver that something¨ Xiao Fan was back to his prideful and hostile self, seemingly having not cooled down when left alone for hours.

'Freaking alchemist. Can't they ever be happy? Always taking everything the wrong way' Hearing Xiao Fan answering like this Wang Geming had a mental note while his verbal speak was something else ¨I just didn't want to offend you by asking for it straight away¨ He explained.

By now, the guards who had come around them had dispersed. They all had seen and heard that this was something they shouldn't be hearing, especially the men of the late Third Prince after noting things going down like this went back to their own stuff.

The two people who dared to stay and listen to the two talking were the Guard Captain and Zhuan An, the people who didn't care what these two were talking about as they had the right to know. For Zhuan An, it was self-explanatory while the Guard Captain was a little different. His power came from the Emperor's words of being vigilant and knowing of what the offspring of his was doing. In simpler terms, Wang Geming couldn't shoo him away if it came to something serious.

¨C'mon ease a little¨ Xiao Fan wasn't actually a stingy alchemist, just playing with him. They were friends, right? And friends played a little with each other right?

It was all part of the plan to seem more friendly and human.
