Zhuan An & Qian Ki & Fei Sun

The Hag who preferred to be called a Shaman lifted her walking stick towards Xiao Fan, readying it to be used as a caning tool. "What did you just call me, boy?" she questioned.

Xiao Fan still mostly stuck in place thought of some quick words, "Hi! I said, hi!" he explained before questioning, "Maybe the years have taken a toll on your hearing?"

"Are you saying that I'm old, boy?" The words he had spoken out didn't help out much, "If she weren't your wife...at this point, you would be dead, boy."

"I have to thank her then," he replied. 'At least my survival has been guaranteed.' Knowing this, he felt somewhat relieved.

Still not much, considering that before he was let go off, the Hag hit him with the stick and she didn't save power.

To that, he thought, 'That's going to leave a bruise...however, it could have been worse.' This in mind, he didn't protest, only held his hand on the spot for a moment.

"Now, why have you come here, boy? Trying to get to her, boy?" Now that the situation was over the Hag's tone shifted towards that friendly gramma style which of Fei Sun had been speaking about during their last meeting.

"Yes and no. I will visit Fei Sun, but I came here for what I said; trailing some people," while speaking, he pointed at the hallway the two women had taken.

"Well, she hasn't been too worried about you anyway. Are you sure that your partnership will last? If you drop it, I might let you go as a free boy," the Hag offered.

"Drop my wife for such a thing? Wouldn't you kill me for unfaithfulness towards your disciple?" Maybe for a split second, Xiao Fan had considered such a deal, but in the end, his response was an adamant no.

"I wouldn't kill you. Someone else might do the job for me after all." The Hag was weirdly pleased to hear him say so and made this known with a small smile on her old face.

"Thanks?" Xiao Fan didn't know how to react to those words.

"So who was going towards Fei Sun's quarters?" the Hag didn't speak more of that.

"Some friends of mine and hers," Xiao Fan told.

"Her friends from the place you came...Ohin Continent was it?" She wasn't too concerned about what the youths were doing, but she wanted to know who.

"Yeah, one from the sect she is from, and then another friend from my side," he clarified.

While they were talking, both of them heard noises coming from the hallway that leads to Fei Sun's quartes. 'What is going on there?' Both of them thought and peeked over to see.

"Leave me alone!" Came a voice right around the corner and seconds later they saw Fei Sun, who was running away from something which might kill her.

A few more seconds and another voice could be heard coming from the same direction.

"Leave him alone, you..." It was Qian Ki, who was chasing her, but it seemed that she couldn't come up with a suiting insult to throw at the woman running in the front.

"Meanie!" Zhuan An helped the other, who was struggling with creating an insult, yet she herself wasn't done, "Come back here. We want to talk," she added in, and while speaking the figures of Zhuan An and Qian Ki appeared from around the corner.

Xiao Fan watching this peeked at the Hag behind him on the stairs. 'I hope she doesn't do anything,' he hoped, but would be let down since the Hag raised her walking stick and stomped it to the ground.

"Oh, no!" Fei Sun noted as she was the only one knowing what this sound of a wooden stick hitting ground entailed without seeing anything, cried out before coming to a halt.

"Did someone slip!" Following her, Zhuan An got this out of her mouth, yet right after her movements were stopped identically to Fei Sun.

Qian Ki also felt this, yet she struggled against the power. "What is this, trickery! Let go of me!" she even demanded to be let go off.

'Wow! She's resisting that?' Xiao Fan was for a surprised to see that Qian Ki could defend herself from the Hag's spells.

The Hag was the same but not for long. 'Way too young to demand anything out of me, girl,' She spoke to herself before repeating the movement with her stick.

"Argh!" Qian Ki let out one more cry before she faced the same as the two others.

While Qian Ki struggled, the one who knew what was going one was already looking towards the stairs where the Hag was looking at them, 'Not good!' she realised and began to think of an explanation.

Long before this, the Hag had pushed Xiao Fan out from their view, wanting to have a talk with them not realising him being here. "What do we have here?"—she walked towards them—"Girls, what are you doing?" she repeated but didn't hear a reply.

"Oh, right. You can't speak." The Hag acted as if she had forgotten, and so raised her walking stick and tapped it against the ground.

"Sorry!" Fei Sun, knowing the best apologised for her mistake right after getting back the ability to speak.

The two others realised that they had gained some control over their body, but didn't do anything. 'Let her explain,' they decided silently while on the stairway Xiao Fan listened without showing himself.

"What was happening over there, girls?" Having heard some form of apology, the Hag decided to have her fun.

"We were just talking about some things!" Fei Sun spoke for them all, not caring if they wanted that.

"You know better, apprentice. This isn't going to do." The Hag wasn't going to let them go so easily, not a second before she had her fun an explanation.

"We were talking about a person," she gave a more precise answer.

Yet instead of continuing, she paused.

"Go on." Making the Hag say this.

"The two of them weren't exactly happy regarding a thing I did to that person." she began to unravel it a little.

"You mean your husband?"

Qian Ki hearing this twisted a little, but held her rage, quite well actually since her eyes didn't get red at all, it was only her mind that didn't like to hear this; the gift that she possessed didn't care for some reason.

"Yeah," Fei Sun confirmed.

"Why are they telling you how to be with your man?" The Hag thought that this was weird, 'Is this something that they do on the Ohin Continent?' Was her first thought.

Also, it was a thought which wasn't the right answer. "No, they are also his...women," she explained to her Master.

Hearing this, the Hag looked behind her into the stairway where Xiao Fan was still eavesdropping into this conversation. "He has all of you to himself? Isn't that a bit too much?" she questioned her student.

'There has never been women like these three in here. If it wasn't because the Holy Coalition there would already be wars over them.' The Hag felt that Xiao Fan was a little too lucky, especially when her eyes came over to Qian Ki.

"Who is she?" Even the old woman was a little overwhelmed. 'These two are once in a thousand years beauties, no doubt, but her? She is completely outrageous!'

"She's the woman you wanted to be eliminated," Fei Sun sniggered, there was regret in her tone.

"Oh, I almost did you work for you...shame that she gets to live on I guess." The Hag knew what kind of a woman her apprentice was, and in a way, she agreed with her methods.

"You tried." Fei Sun didn't give more as a reply since she feared that saying that she wanted the two of them dead might not sit well with them.

"I tried, but thanks to the Duan brothers, I can't continue. Those idiots hadn't thought for a moment, again." Saying so, she looked at Qian Ki, who was the source.

Not waiting for a reply either, she took a few more steps towards Qian Ki before speaking, "Girl, your name?"

"Qian Ki, it is Qian Ki! now let me go!" Qian Ki gave her name, and her nature made her cry for freedom that she didn't have when a spell was locking all her movement.

The Hag shuddered when she heard the name Ki, making her think, 'What? Why did I feel so much evil just now?' Still, as she was pondering her body kept on shuddering for a moment.

Fei Sun, frozen in place next to her Master noticed that shuddering. "Are you okay? Something wrong?" she asked.

Turning around to look at her disciple, she replied, "I felt something...something very wrong. Not supposed to be."

"Hah!" Qian Ki shouted, "Even you fear my name!" Her face was smiling when understanding that these people feared her just like they did back in the Ohin Continent.

Again, the Hag turned around to look at the woman shouting while her disciple explained shortly, "Qian Ki...she is a special woman as you have noticed."

"Special indeed," the Hag couldn't but agree with what Fei Sun had spoken—then she came over to Qian Ki so that she could touch her—"What makes you so special, dear?"

"I'm not your dear!" Qian Ki refuted in a flash.

"Dear, don't say things like that," the Hag wasn't going to back down either.

"There are only two people that can call me dear, and the last time checked you weren't neither!" As this discussion was going on, Qian Ki was trying to free herself with no stopping in sight.

"Okay, okay. I'll let you go"—keeping her word the Had poked Qian Ki with her stick—"You can move now, dear," she spoke in a tone that was way too affectionate towards a stranger.

Even Xiao Fan eavesdropping on the group of women was puzzled to why was she so welcoming towards Qian Ki? 'Wasn't she wanting to kill her because Qian Ki was an abnormality in this world?' He couldn't get a grasp on what was going on.

"For the last time, don't call me, dear!" Qian Ki was freed, but her temper didn't go away nor even calm down, and now that she was free was she free to advance on the Hag, who had just freed her.

"I might have done what you demanded, but be sure to know that I'm not afraid of you, miss," she spoke, changing the dear to miss.

Which Qian Ki grumpily accepted. 'At least it isn't dear. Only father and Fan'er can call me dear' she thought before accepting the nickname, "Fine. You can call me that."

"Moving on,"—the Hag unfroze the two others—"So you three were arguing about how my disciple had inflicted burn scars on Xiao Fan's body, right?"

The three of them nodded.

"How did that end in this situation?" she then continued.

However, she didn't expect to hear three simultaneous answers, which all told a different story. Qian Ki, Zhuan An, and Fei Sun made sure to tell their view and took on what had happened after Qian Ki had barged into the room of Fei Sun.

Meanwhile, as the Hag was getting a headache of this, Xiao Fan on the stairs having listened to all of them laughed, for he found the situation quite comical. 'It is easy to note who of them can lie and who don't.' None of the stories was the right one, but it was evident that Fei Sun made the most compelling story while Qian Ki and Zhuan An came up with some nonsense.

Of course, what he thought didn't change the fact that his laughing was heard by the people he was trying to eavesdrop.

"Hmm?" Zhuan An with the best hearing in the group was the first one to take a couple of steps to the side. Her doing so made her be in an angle in which he could see the tattered red robes of Xiao Fan around the corner.

"Girls! We have someone hiding here!" She told the other girls while the Hag shook her head.
