Zhuan An 7

Feeling the hand around her waist tighten Zhuan An didn't say anything, just smiled a little more.

Soon after the doors into the Luan Family opened and the two of them stepped inside, coming to the front yard that was being used to everything one could imagine.

On the front yard, there was anything, starting from a small farm to a big arena around which a crowd had gathered to see some fights for fun.

Both of them eyed at all the things happening, yet not wanting to attract attention, they quickly walked inside the temple itself that had been converted into living quarters for a big family.

Not wanting to linger there either they made their way to the top parts of the temple.

"They have done too many changes to the layout.." Xiao Fan lamented when they got to the floor that should be the last one.

"Don't remind me of it..." Zhuan An agreed with his statement.

Continuing to walk, he ignoring her sentence, lamented some more "I get that they need more room, but why have they switched the position of the stairs on every floor?"

"I said, don't mind me. I get a headache just from thinking about it." She and Xiao Fan weren't any different when it came to making, in this case the house, work in the most efficient way.

"Right right," Xiao Fan got the idea after the second time.

After that chat, they continued to tour the top floor for a moment before arriving at a door that should lead into the apartment they had been eyeing for the entire day.

'No matter who it is...' Xiao Fan didn't think much as he knocked on said door with the hand that wasn't occupied.

"Who is it?" A person spoke back.

'Good, he's a kid,' Xiao Fan sighed in relief when knowing that the opposition might not be that tough. On the outside, however, he didn't speak.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

Instead of replying, he knocked onto the door again, this time a little more aggressively.

"Better be something important, or I'll tell my father!" The voice threatened.

Zhuan An hearing someone getting up and coming towards them looked at Xiao Fan, trying to grasp what was he doing here.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

What was Xiao Fan doing? Why did he knock on the door, again? Zhuan An didn't follow.

While the youth on the other side of the door became angrier from someone repeatedly knocking on his door yet not answering his question.

Was someone really making him walk over to the door and open it? 'What kind of service is this?' he thought as he came to the door, finally openening it to see who dared to be like this.

First, his eyes went over to Xiao Fan. 'Who is this guy? Have I seen him before? No...I have not.' Not getting anything, he shifted his focus to the other person, who like the other was a stranger; however, there was a difference.

At the same time, Xiao Fan waited until the youth's eyes went off him, over to Zhuan An.

What was he waiting for? Well, he waited for the reaction that every man from the Tomb of the Four Ancient Ones had done when seeing her.

"Fool!"—His free hand stroke the youth into the face—"That's my woman!" When having said so, he pushed Zhuan An into the room while he himself closed the door behind them.

Neither of the two other knowing what the hell was going on followed the rhythm Xiao Fan had set.

Zhuan An came to the room with a small dash. The youth, who had been hit into the face flew across the room into a stone wall.

"What! Who are you! Who do you think you are!" The youth recovered rather quickly from that, and when back on his feet, he began asking.

"No time to explain. You sleep now!" Xiao Fan shouted and pushed up to him, leaving Zhuan An watch from the sidelines.

"What a savage!" The youth called out, yet understanding that this intruder meant what he had shouted did he raise his hands for a block.

Xiao Fan hurled a dozen or so punches into the man's hands that, for now, held him from inflicting any real damage to the more vulnerable head.

His punches not producing the effect he had hoped for, Xiao Fan backed off from the youth.

"Need help?" Zhuan An offered to help her hubby with anything, even if it was with this.

"You stay from this. I'll handle him myself!"—he stopped her forward motion with his hand, telling her to stay away—"This guy isn't that tough."

The youth not that tough heard it and decided to counter this insult "Not that though? If I Luan Lyn aren't tough then no one is!"

"I'm talking to my wife here! Can't you see?"—he while questioned, started another rush towards him—"and you, whatever your name was, you should be sleeping as I commanded you to earlier!"

Not going to lie Luan Lyn was puzzled by what was going on. These two people had come to his apartment? Then suddenly started to smack him, order him to sleep? Besides, they were wife and husband? No! That should be! He should have that woman, for only he was worthy of having such a beautiful wife!

At first, he had no incentive even to fight here, he could have just yelled guards, but now Luan Lyn took this opportunity to steal this fool's wife! Or so he thought as he dropped his defensive stance and rushed to meet Xiao Fan in the middle of the room.

"Think you can match me" Xiao Fan laughed loudly right before their fist collided.

Skin met skin, yet neither side gained an advantage, not even the fist that had been the faster one of the two.

"Match you? Don't make me laugh! I'm stronger than you!" Luan Lyn felt that he was a grade higher than whoever his opponent was. 'The stars are aligning for me today!' he thought, his head turning towards his prize.

Who smiled at him? 'Why is she smiling at this?' he tried to find an answer, yet before he concluded anything, his enemy showed him the result.

"Looking at my wife, are you? Big mistake!" Xiao Fan shouted while using the increased reflexes that came with the Bit of Wit to be the first one to move after the collision.

Move, as in using his leg to kick at his opponent's legs that were now unprotected and un expecting .

"ARGH!" Luan Lan screamed as he fell backwards from the force of the kick.

"It is pretty bad to lose to me, a person who is a grade lower in terms of cultivation, is it?" Xiao Fan laughed more while he moved behind Luan Lan on one knee.

"Release me, you brute!" Luan Lyn demanded to be released from the chokehold Xiao Fan had him in.

Xiao Fan didn't have his chokehold so tightly that it could kill Luan Lyn; it was only so tight that they could have a talk, on his terms. "Why should I? Weren't you leering at my wife back there?" And of course, he wouldn't comply with his demands, but he wasn't going to kill him right here and now either.

Luan Lyn struggled for a moment more, yet soon he gave up, now knowing better. "You shouldn't do it because if you do...my father will make sure you regret everything." Not much better, but it was better than trying to straight-up command him to do something.

"Your father? I don't remember your name, let alone your father's," Xiao Fan responded.

"I think he's name was Luan Lyn? I'm not sure either." Zhuan An told what she had heard, but truthfully she during the fight had solely focussed on Xiao Fan, so she wasn't very sure of his name.

Xiao Fan nodded.

On the other hand, Luan Lyn felt a small shock in his body. 'She didn't bother to remember my name...' After the shock, there came lamenting due to this fact.

The lamenting soon stopped as Xiao Fan tightened the grip he had on him. "Yes, my name is Luan Lyn, and my father, Luan Len, he is the patriarch of the Luan Family, so you—"

"No, we aren't going to release you just because of that, we don't even care for him," Xiao Fan cut him off.

They were at war with these people, so an event like this would go mostly unnoticed by everyone else but the Luan Family. There was no way that him threatening them with his father, maybe miles away, could work.

Luan Lyn maybe too scared or knowing that they really didn't care; nevertheless, his chin fell onto his hand, and his prideful tone was washed away with the next sentence, "Then what do you want?"

"Didn't I already tell you what we want?"

"?" Luan Lyn was confused, yet his confusion was cleared by that woman he had been vying for during the battle.

"We want you to...sleep, wait no, a nap will do," she spoke, coming over to them now that it was safe.

"Anyways, we want to sleep in here for today," Xiao Fan made it more simple.

"You want to...what?" Luan Lyn didn't understand.

"It's not that complicated—"

His explanation wasn't finished as the person, who he was trying to explain to went to sleep.

"Really...you didn't need to do that." Xiao Fan speaking turned his head towards Zhuan An, who had punched the man to sleep.

"No, that was definitely needed," she argued.

'Punching him out cold was a need?' This time Xiao Fan didn't understand what she was saying.

"It was ruining my mood," Zhuan An gave out a short explanation to why she had done so.

However, the explanation being short didn't make it so that Xiao Fan didn't understand, and having understood the meaning, he threw Luan Lyn into another room.

"He isn't going to bother us anymore." Getting up and coming to her, Xiao Fan spoke so.

"Good!"

By the time she said so Xiao Fan was already next to her, placing his hands on her back.

"Perfect" She feeling the moment said it was perfect.

He just smiled before tilting head so that he could kiss her.

She did the same, except for one difference that was, unlike him, she tilted her head upwards so that the kiss would be heading for her lips.

Getting the go-ahead, he didn't wait for a blink longer, before closing his eyes and pulling her closer to his body.

A few flashes later, the two of them were kissing passionately while behind them, from a large open window the whole of Ulaanbaatar could be seen in all of its glory.

Just as Zhuan An had thought, this top floor room filled with all kinds of decorations might be the best place for the two of them to do this.

Separating from the kiss, both of them thought of everything for a while before in perfect understanding did they glance at the large balcony.

"It would be nice..." Zhuan An said in a low tone.

Xiao Fan hearing her speak so didn't wait for a second longer, he lifted her and brought her over to the balcony from which they had the perfect view into Ulaanbaatar at night.

"An'er, you like what you see?" When both of them were leaning over the balcony's stone railing, Xiao Fan asked her this.

"Of course, it looks so beautiful, even the Rising Fox Sect doesn't look like this at the best of times," she spoke while nudging ever closer to him.

"If you like it, I could get it for us."

Zhuan An hearing this took her eyes off from the view, turning them look at Xiao Fan. "You are an alchemist. How can you hold a city?" She wasn't questioning, though she was. Ulaanbaatar might not have a Body Limit Realm cultivator; however, it was only a matter of time before the Bald Eagle Dynasty would gobble this place up. Moreover, this was only one of the many obstacles one alchemist needed to consider when seizing a city the size of Ulaanbaatar. Lol
