Villain 08 - Seven Severe Path

Seven path of Asura, that is the name of the school which I chosen for. Right now, I'm standing in front of the building after leaving the examination place. After all, I rejected a lot of offers, because of this school. The only academy that let you mastered the all elements in cultivation.

While being here, I didn't sense any human there, yet there are a lonely old man who look like a gardener, sitting at the bench. The entire land of the school covered by the high wall, so I only can see the fellow that I said just now once I enter the school place. The way to the main building take 15 minutes walk, because of the large yard of this school. As expected, this academy used to be the legendary one, until they found out the flaw of the all elements cultivation. The big buildings that used to be glorious inside the wall now looks empty, without any existent of students or teachers, but still in good shape, maybe thanks to the old man, that I walking towards to him. He, however lost in his thought, finally aware my existence when I close to him and look surprise too.

"I never thought that there are any person who willing to visit this place. If you wanted to enroll this school, I advise you to stop and look for other options..." The old man voiced his thoughts frankly without any hesitation.

"I wanted to learn the all seven elements, thus this place is the right one...." The only reason why I must enrolled myself in this school due to the basic thing of learning and mastering the cultivation way; but getting the element mastery pact. Every schools in this dimension have their special monolith, the special devices that granted a special ability called the element mastery. That is the only way for all cultivator to learn special moves or arts, based on elements.

"You will wasting your time, your entire life, you know?" Like the old man said, the more elements that you have, the less effective of the mastery you gain. For example, for person with one element mastery, they receive the ability to comprehend the move or art they learn, but the buff decreasing when the quantity of element mastery add up. That's mean, those who have double mastery only have 50% comprehension then the single one. Hence, people who crazy like me with 7 elements will decrease even further, with their potential cut down to less than 15%, as the result.

"Nah, don't worry. By the way, who are you and what kind of positions that you represent here. I don't think you are the headmaster or elder based on your strength, or maybe I was wrong." I asked that old man while ensure him about my decision. I got time, power and money in my side, not to mention the future Goddess. I know he is not one of the immortal or senior after my A.I core already analyze him.

"Nope, I only a janitor who given responsibility to keep this place clean and tidy until someday, someone will revived this school...." The voice of the old man sound like he concern about me.

"Really, thanks for your hardwork... Sorry, can you lead me to the monolith?"

"Without second thought huh, well, follow me young master..." He smirk. He raise from the seat and begin his step, guiding me to the destination.

"Young master?" Well, I know that I kind like typical young master, but I don't that he should called me with the title.

"Once you touch the monolith, you will become the only student here, with automatically became the Patriarch and Headmaster of this school. Therefore, you will own this school and can handle it as you like. Thus, you become the master of this lonely place..."

"Hey, are you kidding me?" His statement quite shocking, out of blue.

"Nope, young master..." He keep walking to our destination without pause while answering my surprise.

"...." I try to open my mouth again, asking about his statements, yet it won't. As a boy with adult mind, I already predicted what happens next. After few moments of pondering, our steps ended in the special place in this academy, the monolith of seven elemental. The thing located in the middle of the academy building. The academy structures itself like the ordinary school in my past world, with open space right in the middle of it.

The Seven Path of Asura, the name of cultivation institute, has same area size like Bavalotia, if not a bit bigger. With tall wall covered the area, the school have three noted buildings, the academy building, which where the monolith located in the middle of it, the dormitory place that can afford more that ten thousand students and one tall 100th floors tower, the structure which almost same as the test tower in qualifying examination at earlier time, but ten times in height.

"Here, touch it with your hand...." The walk finally ended and the old man directed me while pointing to the monolith. Each academy have it's own monolith, but none of the monoliths are same. For the school like this one, specializes in seven elements, the monolith of Seven Path of Asura will activate the mastery of all the elements. This ritual is important, as you now qualify in learning any cultivator martial techniques. Yet, this important institution still empty without any student.

Why the more you activate the Elemental mastery, the more disadvantages you get? Simple, the efficiency of learning and comprehending dropped a lot. As an example, when single Elemental mastery person trained their martial arts, they need lesser time than duo Elemental, who need twice duration of the single one training. There's go thrice for trio elements, and increasing more and more, but the worst for seven elemental mastery cultivators, they need more then expected seven-fold duration, but no, its cost the cultivators tenfold of time to master the skill, unless you are genius typical MC. I am a villain so isn't it a good idea for me to learn the seven elements, with the risk of lacking time to achieve higher level?

Well, I never have that disadvantages at all. I got time on my side, yes, the technologies left by the owner of legendary Iron Might. Time, resources and human resources, I have all of them without any problems.

"Young master?" Those words bring me back to reality. It's seem that I in deep thought, but in the old man eyes, I may look like hesitates a bit.

"I can do this all day..." After saying those words, my hand reaches the monolith, and suddenly a electric-like veins covered my hand, thus making my special gauntlet appear. All seven magical core that circle the main core shines, absorbing the small lightning from the monolith. Some people may see my condition now like those who go through the heavenly tribulations, but in reality, only my gauntlet effected by the ritual. The small cores represented the elements, shine different color; green for wind, red for fire, yellow for thunder, brown for earth, blue for water, white for holy and black for darkness, blinds everyone who been spectators in current event. After few minutes, the 7 cores slowy faded it's shine, yet the main core suddenly light up brightly.

"Argh...." I can feel those magical energy filling inside me, and make me moans, but not in painful way. The natural power of universe now gather in my core, spreading into my body, and starting the process of cultivating.

To become a cultivator, you need to achieve 5 things; the core formation, the body purification, the bone reconstruction, the meridians opening and the last but not least, the soul tempering. I can feel that my body and soul reborn into higher beings, as my power surge, hints that I already turned into a true cultivator. This is the moment that all of practitioner waiting for.

"I am inevitable!!!!" A wind burst coming from my body, making my followers move backward because of the force. Only the old man didn't effected by that, smiling with full of pride, blessing the born next patriarch.

Well, I finally understand about the old man. He isn't a human nor immortal anymore. He is the ghost of the past, keeping the place from becoming abandoned relic. The information and history of this place flown inside my head, showing me the past glory that gone with the time. From the founder, until the last one, everything related to the old memories of this academy, thus this is the sign that I have been passed the torch to relight the glory of this new era.

"Thanks for everything old man. Your legacies and memories will be remembered forever. Don't worry about this new era...."

"That's sound arrogant, my junior... I afraid the path is quite difficult..." The old man sound cynical, yet fill with happiness.

"You could not live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me.... Fine, I will do it myself...." With full of pride, I said it to him.

"Well... thank you young master.... All of this Seven Path of Asura now, belongs to you...." The old man faded away, become a dust and slowly flew off by the wind.

"Thank you, the former founder, ancestor and first Patriarch of this very school. May you find the peace in your next life....."

As the history knowledge of this place imparted in my head, I been granted the mastery of seven elements, as well as the prove that I'm now a legitimate of this school successor. Now, I can proudly called myself a cultivator.

After finishing the procedure of the qualification becoming the cultivator, and unexpectedly, becoming the head of this very school, I begun the new restructure and reformation for the legacy of mine. First of things, I built the teleportation device to bring out more helpers to smooth the process. I have them gather all the treasures; the technique scrolls, the herbs, weapons and valuable resources, keeping it in the special room in Bavalotia. I will renovated the whole building with my transmutation and making the building more modern and high tech one.

All of the treasure here been sort out to make the management much easier. Especially for the scrolls, I turns all the written techniques into data in my main AI core, so it's become easier to impart the skills by connecting the knowledge into the cores that implanted in armor suit. While it's easy now to learn the martial arts, one can only learn one type of beginner technique, and addition to one more for the advanced; thus only can have two techniques in cultivation life. So, i picked the base technique; 7 way of dao elements, and the advanced one is Seven Severe Path. I need 700 years to comprehend the basic technique normally but as I have the special device, I now only need 7 weeks. All hail the cheat!

After cleaning and emptying the place, like I said earlier, the next step is to transmute the buildings and turns it into more modern and high technologies one. Only the monolith place spare from the changing, I reformed the school building into citadel like building structures, which have 10 floors and 10 hidden underground levels. Like the Bavalotia structures, the lowest underground room is for the main core of the A.I that will control this place, named Nana. Like Mai, Nana has its own personality, begin to operate and managing the place. The challenging tower also been renovated, but only for the exterior not the inside one. As expected, I can't change the special creation like the tower, and the monolith.That is the relic of the past, the beginning of this world.

As expected of the academy, they got plenty of herbs and plants to boost the cultivation. The herb gardens that owned by this place now been demolished and replaced with training building and special trade place. All of

those treasure ingredients now have been cultivated in the special room in

Bavalotia. Like I said, I got time and resources, so it doesn't hard to produce those rare ingredients like farming potatoes. I established new area of trade center, located in the area of the only entrance and exit of the academy, to generate war funds. The gold and monetary of middle dimension are useless here, so I have to gather funds using this way.

By the way, the popular currency here other that barter systems or thievery is using the monster core. There are there type of monster core, the large, medium and small. While it's used as currency, the cores are important for cultivator to increase their level. Mine still level one, a martial apprentice level, so I really need it to absorb the 'exp' from the core. It's like the rpg style, instead killing the monsters to level up, you absorb the life energy from the core.

While on it, the dormitories building now become the modern condominium styles, high class and luxury one, for the accommodation of my peoples. About 10 thousand slaves now have enter this place and giving their job for running this school. Fortunately, all the work forces and human resources are not counted as illegal immigrants or intruders because of they didn't enter this place normally like others using the only gate, but as long as they have registered in the school, they can stay here without any problem. I, the head of the school, also the Patriarch, granted all of my followers the ID and registered them as the students and administrators of this alma mater.

Of course, they need to have the same qualification like me, touching the monolith, and become seven elements cultivator. Actually, it's impossible in normal way, but all of my followers have the similar gauntlet of mine, well not powerful as mine, with the help of seven artificial elements core, the problem solved. Case closed! For zero people here, now the place packed with ten thousand of fellow cultivators, making this place lively.

Every thing must be done with the haste! Why? In the three months from now, there will be the huge event, like every cultivation typical genre; the training arc! All the students will granted permission to enter the forbidden forest - the land of undiscovered and inhabitant by humans, and try to survive there in three months. This is the first task of the new cultivators as well as the opportunity to gather monster cores and other treasure that lurking in the place where the beasts and monsters lord over it. Well, my mission in that place is not to level up, but none other to have the contract with the elemental fairy!
